1000cc bikes actually would destroy most supercars in acceleration in real life to about 186mph... but thats only because bikes are factory restricted to 186.

Top speed doesn't matter in street racing. What matters is acceleration and handling.
Bikes are op in real life as well tho: accelerate faster and weight to power ratio is insane (in some cases)

Bikes are 100% better, once you master the turning there is no way a car will win. It’s much easier if you drive in first person too.

So true, in cockpit view on the bike you can eat up the races like no ones business. But they aren't op. It just takes the right person on a bike and you have the perfect weapon.
King Leeq Not at all. Bikes are usually quicker on straights but they can never corner quicker than sports cars even like civic type r or something similar.

Bikes can be turbocharged, and their topspeed limiters removed.
Bikes need strong lean-angle independent downforce, to corner faster.
And you can drift a motorcycle, especially if it has an extended swingarm. Look for videos of motorcycle drifting.

now way that bike isn't the H2r the H2r comes with carbon and smaller mirrors and it has 300hp. The standard h2 in the game has around 200hp. They also got the bikes real factory paint wrong it doesn't come in black They are all chrome/mirror coated
BANDIT the h2r one isn’t road legal two has no mirrors they’re winglets for downforce and the h2r has no paint on the front cowl and fairings because it’s all carbon the normal h2 is the one in game and it has mirror paint

With bikes you have to start turning before the corner, take it wide and cut into the apex. Smoother braking and throttle control is super useful
Overpowered.. most 1000cc sports bikes are faster than most cars anyway.
Bikes beat cars in accelaration and nothing else. Cars can take corners at higher speeds and have higher top speeds (low drag is more important than a good power/weight ratio)

I have the Kawasaki H2, and to me, the bike doesnt turn slower, it just turns faster so you really have to either start to turning just before the corner, or look at the map more than usual. And To help with the turning, I race in first person.
They're not. The bikes just make it a bit easier to grind through some parts of the game for money and rank.

Cars have downforce so they can corner at higher speeds. A bike is limited to 1G where a F1 car can corner at like 4G's

I was playing the crew 1 yesterday and I was driving a bike in raid spec. OH MY GOD it was impossible to win the race without being hit by huge raid spec cars or smashing in to trees!

I don’t think it’s fair how the bikes are in the street race category. They should have their own category because of how much better they are than regular street race cars
BuckyBoi I’m of the same opinion. Cars and bike shouldn’t be in the same category. For example in the rally raid discipline, you can get a bike through the trees with ease, in the mean time, a car can’t even go trough it.
It only makes sense that the bikes would be better than the cars.
Cars can corner at higher speeds because of downforce. Bikes are limited to 1G where F1 cars can corner at 4G's. This means a 40mph corner for a bike is a 160mph corner for a F1 car.
You truly have no idea what you are talking about, do you?
G-Force is a product of velovity and mass. That is why a formula one car will pull more Gs at the same speed as the bike. The bike just suffers from centrifical forces more than the car.
That is nowhere near what G-force is... G-force is change of velocity, find a wikipedia article on it.
The downforce from the F1 car is what lets it corner like that, without it you would just lose grip. If you didn't lose grip you would flip over, because the lateral cornering force would exceed that of gravity, keeping you down. This is why bikes are limited to 1G, and cannot go higher (I don't see how you could put a wing on a bike).
Some Weeb I'm not exactly an expert on this subject, but believe me, you can turn hella fast with bikes in real life. Of course they can't keep up with an F1 car, but comparing street legal bikes to an F1 car is simply stupid.

My grandad who’s 76 has a 1000 CC bike with a side car and he would destroy most cars he went against. He even told me a story about when he was riding it down to Brighton when he was in his 50’s and he just put the throttle down and was booking it past everyone, looked down at his speedo and was doing 150

Weight doesn't mean everything in a corner. Having 2,000lbs of downforce will help you more than weighing 500lbs. Also if you try to cut a corner in a bike you will fall off, not every bike is a dirt bike, and dirt bikes are nowhere near as fast as superbikes.

talking from experience of being one of the faster bikers in the game, they're easy to use, but hard to master. If you can get the mindset down for cornering, bikes are almost unbeatable.

I bought the. Kawasaki H2 and I was expecting something crazy like in real life, once I would max it out, but it tops out and doesn’t go as fast as other motorcycles as I was truly expecting

Bikes are extremely lightweight and have a very high power to weight ratio. Yes it might only be 200bhp but when the bike weights 70 kilos, it's insane. Motorbikes are a techical revolution

They need downforce, turbo & supercharger kits, and extended swingarms, for wheelie reduction, highspeed stability, and drift stability.
It's great to have bikes in a game, especially with cars. But it's frustrating when they leave out bike mods.
And I don't know this game, but in it, can you even change the sprockets for custom gear ratios?
The issue is that bikes and cars are two very different types of road vehicle. Bikes have 2 wheels, not 4 - less friction from the ground. Less vehicle to catch and drag on air. In terms of cars, some motorcycle engines are actually unimpressive on horsepower, but because of numerous factors, bikes end up being much better "speed demons" than cars. It's in the territory of complaining that some planes are too slow or fast for cars.
But honestly, it should take a lot of skill to race cleanly with bikes. I remember them being SO fun but SO difficult in midnight club LA. It was really cheap, really fast, and could get you wins in some pretty difficult races.
Nope, on a longer race or even a drag I could beat them in my impala as they lack top end.

I imagine pants doesn't ride bikes IRL... There is a trick to keeping up with cars, and that is: learn when to brake. The timing for cars and bikes is very different, if you learn when to break and when to lean your body in a curve, you will be able to figure out when to go full throttle and get out of a curve a lot faster, easily keeping up with cars on roads and tracks, and using the straights to gain some distance

Alex Taylor it's actually quite problematic because to achieve the same acceleration you need more force if you have more mass, and tyres that can transfer the force to the ground (grippier tyres). Bikes don't need so much grip because they need less force to achieve the same acceleration because they are lighter

I actually did The Sleeper against a friend (YOUNGBLOOD428) and him and I both used bikes just to run a test and you'd be surprised but you actually hear the other person's bike is generally louder than ANY vehicle even if it's a bike. I raced my friend's Kawasaki on my MV Agusta and I could barely even hear my own bike for the entire time my friend was on my tail. That's how loud bikes really are. Although in terms of OP, I'd say not really because of the fact that cars can win off the line and in turns.

They need to make it a risk / reward situation. Being that if you so much as clip anything on a bike while at speed, then you should fall OFF the bike and have to waste time getting back on track by resetting. However, if you put in the time and master the bike then of course you should be rewarded.

same complaint from the first game when bikes where implemented. there acceleration is balls high. top speed can match any car of the same level. but turning... is much different. a bike must slow down more for a tight corner. where a car, can take it tight and fast.
Riding the bike in first person makes it a LOT easier to drive
For me it just reduces your vision, makes the camera shaky and you cant see more forward
Pro tip for the launches just hold the brake give some gas let go, you dont have to do a burn out but you can if you whant to, it lanches you out way to fast, and thats what makes it fun xD

Bikes tend to have worse top speeds because of aero. Low drag is more important for top speed than a good power/weight ratio.

Slower in top speed but in 0-60 and low end acceleration they are like 5x better.

5x better than real life or in-game cars? I don't think that many people ride bikes or even been on a bike compare to cars, plus a big part of the player base are kids, so I'm not surprised a lot of people aren't that knowledgeable on cars and bikes.

I think that shortcuts are much easier because of their size, but imagine if prices in the game were somewhat realistic... BMW S1000RR for 15k. Also in the last game the S1000RR could reach nearly 250mph so i think they were probably more overpowered in the last game

I feel like the bikes have been buffed even more now especially the Ducati Panigale V4R and the BMW S1000RR because both are faster now and the Panigale handles like an absolute dream on the corners. Even in real life, the Panigale is a known track monster and beats every other superbike when it comes to taking turns like a champ.

The point of having the motorcycle is the acceleration. Most cars never get to top speed in street races, that’s what makes it “op”

Bikes get the best times on the street races so that shows they are quicker as they have better acceleration , brakes and turning.
I mean most SuperSport liter bikes can beat any car out there irl, and if you know how to drive it that's a big + too, especially in The Crew 2, if you know when to dive and you commit to that dive you can cut some time.

I wouldn't say that they're overpowered, I think that's a powerful term. They're definitely good, sexy, and the Harley Iron 883 sounds like the pearly gates, I'm telling you.
But the Ninja H2 against the Ducati Panigale, isn't very fair in my opinion. Of course, in stats, they're somewhat equal, but in my opinion, the Panigale is just better. I like it's sound, looks and handling more. But, cars are better for ramps than bikes. Really, I suggest trying both, and figuring out which you like better.
Okay, here is the thing, SuperBikes are in general way faster then a car, trouble is they need to brake early, and are slower by taking turns, in many games You notice bikes handle fast, but need to Slow down alot when taking a turn, for example PGR4, TDU one and two, have not play this game yet, but it looks fun really 😎
Bikes are absolutely op, when u launch u NEED to spin the wheels you'll have on of the biggest boost of the game, max speed isn't amazing (when u're intelligent and u compare a superbike to a supercar and not hypercar) but turning is SO op, why ? Because with parts and icon points you can increase the leaning angle of the bikes so yeah pretty much THE way to go when you're new in the game x)

The basic rules of bikes is that they have great acceleration and have the best handling if you can get the racing line right. However they are sluggish to turn in, their top speed is lacking and are also terrible at taking bumps and being bullied by other vehicles. If you can get ahead of the pack and hold the line well you are unbeatable. Get stuck in traffic tho and you'll have hell.
With short track and short straight line, you have advantage on bikes, but on the freeway, cars are defintely faster.that's my op.
