Have to mention that the dude in second place for the world record was also using a RUF. So yeah... pretty good car.
I studied the leaderboards and the most successful car at drift is the BMW Z4 and I think thats the way to go.

Ok wow, no joke. I just tried this car and doubled my personal best on the first try. It handles like a Scalextric car with drift tyres. So easy to control the speed and direction of the car.

Just make another viedo of the Focus RS as a drift spec,you might actually find something better than the RUF,i mean let's be fair the guy on number one didn't really made it up there just with pure skill,the focus RS might actually be a hidden gem of drifting
Theo handling does change from performance upgrades but changes massively with the pro settings.
I’ve Mained with the Shelby and it’s really good for gripping and keeping slides
it's shelby gt500 with widebody and Fastlane drift tune hands down
I prefer the Dodge Viper cause it’s has a full angle drift capability
@@thecarwithinternetaccess7952 idk about viper but a lot of best drifters use shelby gt500 and it's op, if you haven't tried it yet just do it with fastlane setup it might take a while to get used to it but that how you can easily make up to 690k score

I have the Shelby as a drift car it really is good its my second favorite drift car next to the viper
i like the mustang tho got 187k on the amarican way with it without having the car max lvl and my icon lvl only being around lvl 70 when i set the time
The American event made me buy a Viper for that drift and honestly it's now my main drift car. I can easily go past 600k points on any drift event.

If you want a stable driftcar I'd recommend the dodge viper, managed to get 21st in the world with it so I'd say that its aight
You can whip out reverse entry’s with the R-34 Drift edition, got over 1.100HP

My point of view is, the best drift car is, for you, the most confortable one and for you, its the ruf (i prefer the bmw z4 because it small and nimble)
To me the rx7 is the most perfect drift car, cause you can even drift and brake, and this event I can get 600+k points, releasing accelerator and press on it again without braking will help better instead of using brakes, brakes are used when you think you're gonna hit the wall
Btw doing this event in reverse course is much easier

Noo i don't think so..the drifting in this game is just weird imo. The slight little correction or when trying to transition..the cars just swing waayy to much, its almost impossible to keep an angle without almost spinning out.
I use a Ford focus also for drifting
