Communicated with Dr. Francisco Lima-Gonzalez.... MB acts as both an antioxidant and oxidant, and can be mixed with some powdered Vitamin C to reduce it's staining quality.... so mix with C and drink through straw to reduce any discoloration of teeth.

why would you want to ingest MB already reduced? now it needs to be re-enabled to function in those necessary contexts. If it doesn't have an electron to donate how would it donate it's electron at any stage of the transport chain?

I use 2 ml (40 drops), add 1/4 tsp of ascorbic acid in 8 oz of water and let it set until the mixture turns clear and then drink it. The bitter taste of the MB is gone too. The color returns in my body as my urine is blue green.

When I think of toxins it is as garbage to get it out of the body and cells but watching the videos it seems to be just adding and electron and taking one away. I hope MB removes the garbage so like when one has a cold more fluid shud be drank to remove the toxins. If there is a certain amount of MB that is required to do this, I do 2 drops/day?

When I began taking MB in March ‘23, the recommended low-ish end of the daily low dosage was 1mg/kg of my body weight of 80 kg. So that was 160 drops, basically 10 full droppers. That is roughly 100x what is recommended here. Several sources recommend 0.5 - 4mg per kg of body weight. I could take 40 droppers full and still be considered low dosage.

Most of the dosage information out there is for clinical treatment by a physician. This is under their care and supervision.
What most people do at home is a bottle of 1% drops from Amazon. In this case a low dose is recommended. This is why you take drops. Starting with 1 or 2 each day. Two separate times of day is often recommended. It is also recommended to cycle on and off of it.
The maximum number of drops per day can’t really be defined for everyone. It seems minimal equals maximum as far as therapeutic use. Guessing, stay below half the clinically recommended dose used by doctors.

Great video - wife and I have been enjoying a great experience with MB. Question though… for the first couple of weeks my urine output was blue. Now over the past few days it’s remained the normal color it was prior to MB which is a very light yellow. I stay well hydrated and am outdoors quite a bit. I also do red light therapy at night using Joovv. Not sure if those last two apply but I thought I’d mention it in case UV/IR exposure has an impact.
Is it strange I’m no longer eliminating any of the blue pigment?

To answer my own question for anyone else wondering, after several months of use my urine for the most part has returned to normal color unless I up the dosage for the day. Normal dosage ranges from 10-25 mg per day. The effects are still the same. My long Covid symptoms have subsided but the virus itself persists and I recognize when I’m exposed to new variants. I work in a hospital so it’s everywhere. I think the MB helps me fend off the virus. It could also be the variants are less virulent.
One thing to note, if I take a week off I don’t seem to notice much of a drop off in energy or other ill-effect., however I sleep very well once I begin dosing again.

I thought that it was .5 mg/Kg. which was low-dose, which is much, much more than what is said here. I would need 70 mg per dose to hit that. So, which is the accurate "low-dose"? My bottle did not say to progressively increase, so I started at 5 mg. I have to say I did feel more energetic the next day, all day, but I yawned a lot, which I did not understand. I do not see how one would measure a gram of powder. That would require a very sensitive scale and then getting it from there to a glass, etc. At 70 mg/day, btw, it is far from cheap. I would like to get clearer on whether MB only works for those with impaired metabolic metabolism, or for everyone despite the lack of metabolic impairment. In other words, we do not need an electron recycler if the electron chain is working, all four components and ATP synthase. Is this only for those people with impairments, or what would be the mechanism for its improvement if everything is already OK?? Good luck finding a doctor who will work with you on MB.

It came out of a viol in some tiny granules that did not disperse into a powder, but I think that's a good thing because that could have been messy. There was about twelve of these that came out and I just put them in water and it ended up turning completely blue but it didn't seem to affect the scale at all. • @stevoblevo

depends on which antioxidants. many oxidants (like methylene blue) have 'antioxidant' functions. some "antioxidants" are reducers and as such could cause the opposite problem of "reductive stress" which causes a lack of cellular energy due to inhibited oxidation.
lots of nuance here. it's not so cut and dry as "oxidant bad; antioxidant good"
'oxidative stress' is less a problem of roaming oxidants and more a problem of incomplete oxidation in the Electron Transport Chain. Imagine a truck engine with something wrong with it causing it to smoke. The solution isn't more compounds to clean up the exhaust. The better solution is to fix the engine's problem and make it run clean.
Methylene blue fixes the mitochondrial (engine) hiccups. It can step in at any complex of the chain to provide the necessary fuel. Not only can it urgently fill in as needed, it also will chemically clean any residual exhaust from the incomplete, struggling, inefficient process. More clean energy is the result.
so to answer your question "can MB be used with other antioxidants?"
yes and no. it can be used with other truly effective ones which are probably just as nuanced and may be 'oxidants' or 'free radicals' themselves while acting as 'antioxidants' in certain contexts. But MB may be inhibited by blanket 'antioxidants' which may merely be universal reducers (ascorbic acid comes to mind).
perhaps your question will guide your journey to the next question(s): "What makes an 'antioxidant?' and is that even good? in which context?"
enjoy that journey. it's a real trip!
to sum: 'antioxidant' is often marketing like "organic" and doesn't always mean much. MB (and others like red light/PBMT/LLLT, even sugar/fructose) is "pro-metabolic" which is the real name of the game. It's like going from buying "certified organic" at Whole Foods to knowing the farmer you buy free-range pasture-raised food from. Pro-metabolic, meaning encouraging, empowering, enabling mitochondria to be as healthy as possible no matter the "oxidant/anti-oxidant/reducer" marketing/chemistry label.
feel free to ask more clarification.
      Cheers!

From what I have been able to gather, under 2 mg per kg of weight is safe for healthy people, above 7 mg per kilogram of body weight can be poison. If your liver function is compromised I wouldn't even take 1 mg per kg of weight myself, better to consult a doctor if you have that issue. Some individuals might not even know their liver is not functioning well, if you are a heavy drinker you can assume that.
Methylene blue works at low doses, at high it has the opposite effect, best to stay conservative. Many individuals have good results at far lower amounts, 1 mg a day works for some, others 5 to 10 or more. For my body weight at over 100 kg I can take two hundred mg a day safely, but I don't want to push that high, I'm staying at twenty mg a day, if I do take higher amounts I will probably limit to 50 mg a day. My thought is to only take the minimum amount needed to produce results but I am not a doctor, do your own research.

take a look under the uv light of 365 and see if your face lights up florescent orange. If so, you have hydrogel and nanoparticles throughout and you are VI and probably don't realize it. Check for blood clots and rubbery clots.

I have been taking 0.5 a day for a week, and only had blue pee once. I have upted the dosage to 2mg a day and still dont have blue pee. I think I am seriously ill and wondered if it is fighting an infection that requires me to keep upting the dosage till the pee turns blue/green? The suspected infection is encephalitis. My GP refuses to accept I have an infection and just treats the symptoms, eg tablets to stop sweats, tablets to increase saliva, tablets to stop itching and tablets for anxiety. Blue Methyene is my only hope and any advice or help[ is much appreciated. @drbeen @longstoryshort #longstoryshort #drbeen

Dr.Edward Group's nascent iodine, "Detoxadine" is another great infection fighter. Most people are low on iodine..Atleast, some good quality kelp would be good. Also, watch Dr. Merisol's videos on castor oil..Can be applied directly over lymph nodes or wherever.

I would also like to know if blue/green urine tint gives a good indication of MB use & absorbtion..I've been taking MB for one week & really like it, but, haven't decided what the best amount for me is..Thanks!

@@borisblvd5354 my friend tells me you can tell if you are deficient in iodine by rubbing it on your skin by how quickly the skin absorbs it, and how much is absorbed. I was thinking the same might be true with MB.

@@monag.769 I was taking the 0.5ml a day and didn't see any difference. My health was going down hill rapidly, so I upted the dosage. At one point I think I had the dosage correct, but went beyond correct dosage. My health improved in the space of 24hrs, so much so people saw the difference, even heard the difference over the phone. I stopped taking it for a week or so, and have now started at 2ml a day, then 3ml. I will see how 3ml goes for a few days then upt if need be. One thing is for sure, on the right dosage, the results were demonstrable, to the extent friends wanted some. Hopefully on getting the right dosage I can repeat what it did for me in the 2nd week.
