You should make a custom pcv system. Crankcase pressure is bad for these engines. A 20 dollar Amazon 2 way catch can with atmosphere filter.and 3/8 hose with 2 spring loaded check valves and 2 diaphragm check valves, and a silicone 3/8 plug, and also a 3 way hose connector Y configuration .can works just fine, and you should replace your pcv valve while your at it. Here’s the configuration. 3/8 hose from pcv valve to catch can, the catch can out port to intake manifold. Check valve(spring loaded) should be placed in the 3/8 hose that goes from the catch can to the intake manifold to prevent boost from entering the catch can when you add the atmosphere filter so you have no boost leak and no vacuum leak. Then add the third port from the top of the catch can which will connect to the filter add a 1 foot 3/8 hose from catch can top port to the atmosphere filter, add another check valve (spring loaded) from catch can to atmosphere filter( use the check valve to connect the filter to the 3/8 hose). Then take the passenger intake hose off then reroute it to the catch can area( plug the passenger intake with the silicone plug. Don’t need to disconnect hose from valve cover just connect it to the 3/8 hose with a diaphram check valve. Then at the end of that 3/8 hose add a Y connector so that you connect both the catch can to filter hose and the passenger intake together( make sure the Y connector connects after the check valve ). Now tighten the hoses with gear hose clamps or zip ties. This will allow the crankcase pressure to enter the catch can and into the intake manifold at idle to ensure a smooth idle. But at high rpm’s the boost will block off the check valve which will make the pressure escape to the filter into the atmosphere. Best setup for sure to remove excess crankcase pressure, and will never let oil get to the intake manifold nor intake on the passenger side. For my setup I put the catch can in the brake reservoir area. I’ll probably put up a short later to show how it’s done. Everything can be bought of off Amazon for a total of around 70-80 dollars
Love that color, almost as much as my Dynamic Sunstone Red Q50 RS. I'm located in the same area as you, would be great to meet up sometime to check your Q out.
Sure come to shop when we’re working on the car
That color is perfect. When I get my q50 3.0t, all I'm gonna do is get a tune to bump the hp up to 400 and then do the blow off valve or something like the tsutsutsu sound from turnbos. I'm not gonna do anything to my exhaust or mufler because I want it to be as sleeper as possible. Don't want the cops to notice me.
Nice video, when you put the exhaust on can you film flys and cabin pov too?
I already did,coming next week…
I heard installing BOV on the Q's aren't the best idea. Haven't they been known to damage the turbos
That’s very wrong, they do help to turbos and they also make turbos last longer
Bovs can’t damage the turbos. Tell me how could they? Issues that are occur are boost leaks, but that’s only if you install them wrong.
Are you selling the OLD parts?? I would love to purchase.
I have an exhaust, suspension and catalytic converters for sale
I’m looking to buy the hose air inlet you changed out and replaced with the blowoff valve
@@g-wayempire6692 That one is not for sale tho
What size tires are you running? Thanks
245/40/19x8,5 20mm
The worst upgrade for this platform good luck man.
Everything is good so far…
