I'm just getting around to putting rivens on my things because corrupted mods are hard. That was a lot to take in, but the fact that you included general rules of thumb for good blessings and curses was needed. I might have to watch this a couple more times with a freaking notebook, though.
I don't understand why people still use unranked element mods to balance slash still. With Weeping Wounds on Pangolin P giving you close to 200% SC all you're doing by having lower viral is increasing your chance to proc impact and puncture when you're normally proccing viral and slash each hit. Made sense back in the day of course but nowadays it's just detrimental to your build
i wish that there was a + Dmg to sentient cuz sentient are also a faction then it would be so much better for snipers like vectis for eidolon hunting lovers
totally pointless my dude. since sentients got their own armor type which is alloy and robotic flesh, thats why we mod Radiation. what you mean is a mod that buffs void-dmg for your operator which wouldn't make sense. there is something like that tho it is called madurai focus- void strike and you can easily oneshot every eidolon with almost every weapon with enough voidstrike. They are a faction yes but have armor types we can handle already. Just learn the basics and there is nothing too hard to handle in warframe, it's mostly (like in ur case) a lack of information. The wiki is your friend

Thank you! I have played for 500 hours and never got into the riven system because it was so overwhelming. I didn't understand what to do with the few rivens I got for weird weapons I never had heard of. Now with your help I feel I can finally sort this out and hopefully unlock my frames' true potentials. (As a side note it also took me around 500 hours to get into the lich system... I think for around 100 of those hours I was too exhausted to learn how to deal with that one lich I accidentally got, even though it annoyed the hell out of me with all of its taunting. Warframe is really complicated...)
I would get rivens, but there so goddamn expensive. I have 3 for my most used guns and the grind for those were super long and tedious. Just need a eidolon riven and im done.

try to sell them cheap, trade chat is laughable. I bought many veiled pistol rivens for as little as 2 plat. Never roll a riven for a weapon you don't like. And check out riven market.com. Sorry if you already know this.

I'd reckon selling it now. Its relatively new and people may pay higher price for it. The price of it would eventually go down and won't be as expensive as now. But before you that make sure to check semlar for rivens prices or warframe auction.
I farm 50k kuva a week and actually often buy an unroll unpopular weapon I want, roll it 10x and throw it away and re-buy another because spending 10p > farming an hour for the kuva you are wasting. Ofc you can only do that with not popular stuff since popular rivens are more expensive
Zenurik is always an option, just be mindful of your combo duration. And in this video I see that KF is running Dethcube that has [Energy Generator] mod that will provide you with consistent energy orb drops.
Theres a helpful glitch with vigorous swap: You just have to double tap your swap button. You will keep the same weapon, no swap animation and 6s of vigorous swap. I found that while scarlet spear was there and had to be an amazing mesa to not being trash talked.
Critical chance and critical damage are always good, as well as status chance. If you're a fan of Condition Overload, base damage is rather questionable, but if you're a Primed Pressure Point person, go for it. Things like Range and Combo duration are priority 2. I recommend rewatching the video a few times from after 6:30 as he explains it better than me.

Yes, though they will recieve a stat change, as the riven will weaken/strengthen itself depending on which version it is. Ex: Mk.1 Braton > Braton > Braton Vandal > Braton Prime Strongest Stats to Weakest Stats Left > Right
Depends. Some weapons can do good even with high negative status duration. But if you rolled 1 with over -100% status duration you might want to consider rerolling, unless it comes with 2 or 3 insane positives.
NEVER EVER TAKE NEGATIVE STATUS DURATION. Holy what an advice from the other guy. it kills your whole status output. corrosive useless, viral useless, heat useless, slash useless. way too many players take neg sd

You might be thinking about weapon recoil. +weapon recoil is a negative -weapon recoil is a positive For example, Riven A has +fire rate +multishot +damage to (faction) +weapon recoil And Riven B has +fire rate +multishot -weapon recoil -damage to (faction) So it might look like Riven A has four positives but that fourth ‘positive’ is really a negative, and Riven B might appear to have two negatives but it’s really only one.

actually quite the opposite. the most op weapons are gems with high dispo not many ppl know of otherwise they would be bad dispo.
