Just got this trophy and got the platinum already. Here's how I do it. 1. Difficulty : Friendly 2. Increase spidey sense visibility 3. Increase dodge-time window 4. Pay attention 5. Breathe and don't get nervous
You can’t just “spam” dodge. That no longer works as it appears they sped up the combo counter reset timeframe. Here’s some tips: Go to settings, accessibility, increase dodge window, turn on. Dodge early and avoid “perfect dodges” as these web up the enemy face and slows them down. Too many slow enemies and the timer resets. Keep difficulty “friendly” or above. Lowest setting enemies don’t swing fast enough and the counter resets. If you find you dodged too far from the crowd and there’s nobody to attack you try holding triangle to “tug” a far away enemy towards you. This may count as part of the combo counter. Stay close to the bus and close to the enemy crowd, pressing circle/dodge with no direction and walk directly towards another enemy afterward.
I found this method easier on ultimate difficulty as the enemies are more aggressive and you can predict them more easily. If you think you’re gonna lose your combo, use the move you use to counter enemies with shields and slide under them as that counts towards your combo.
First time attempting this I got it up to 93 before it just reset on me. After a couple of frustrating tries, I made it up to 95 and quickly did the mega venom blast and it brought up the combo counter to 101. Trophy unlocked. :)
When you’re escaping with the prowler in his mission, there’s a part where he wants you to follow him through a wall but if you don’t Roxxon guys keep spawning. So I just sat there and beat guys up til I got it.
Do you know what the mission is called? Because there is many missions with the prowler. And if you don’t know the name please describe how far it is in the story, and there place you did it at and when you did it at that place. Also was it the mission where miles went looking for Phins phone?
@@skulldico it’s the first mission with him where you go in the Roxxon base trying ti find phins phone. The non stop spawning enemies is at the very end of the mission. I used this tactic and it worked perfectly btw.
Skulldico the mission is called “corporate espionage* right after being hit with a punch of energy source, he’ll say to fight left while he takes right. During that he’ll tell you to leave but if you defeat the enemies they will keep coming which means more combo count. Goodluck to anyone reading this
Done it so many times and it just deletes my combo after 10. They either don't attack enough or all at same time so one dodge ends up right into another hit even on friendly neighborhood mode.

They’re fast enough so the combo won’t time out and they don’t kill the enemies. Got it first try using that strategy. If you do get hit the combo won’t reset on the lowest difficulty.
have you got it yet? If not what I did was try it in the battle with rhino at the start of the game, then when you reach 98 try using the venom power, make sure your difficulty is on ultimate.

This but instead of dodging do the air yank move (Jump by pressing X and then hold triangle to yank enemies up). It’s far less risky because you don’t have to count on enemies attacking you.
If anyone is still struggling there is a way easier method. Instead of spamming the dodge button slowly getting tired, instead jump and yank the prisoners up by holding triangle as this counts as a combo. Just yank them up and dodge away so you don’t web throw them. Just keep jumping and yanking up. Tip, you should do the high jump by holding R2 and X so you can stay in the air longer and yank more of them up on one jump. YW!
If u still cant do it on the combat challenge on midtown like that guy says. Just do it regularly kill the 20 enemies regularly just press square and dodge and make sure ur difficulty is on friendly neighborhood i killed all of them and i got a 114 combo

I got the remastered version of Spiderman and one of the new trophies to get was a 100 hit combo and I did get that legit but I just couldn't do it on Miles Morales... so now I have a platinum from the PS4 Spiderman, a platinum for the PS5 Spiderman and finally a platinum for Miles Morales, thank you again...I think I will sub
If you ever get close to a 100x or 50x combo(for the champion benchmark) but there is only 1 enemy left on low heath just spam air yank it can’t kill but it counts towards a combo (make sure not to throw them or air throw them)
I’m a year late but I’m playing on the easiest difficulty and i went into the crime app ( if u have it unlocked) and went to a burglary beat up everyone EXCEPT ONE GUY) he had a crowbar so he blocked my first hit i dodged under his legs waited for him to turn completely around and hit him once more he blocked then i dodged under legs and repeated this method and i got up to 200 combo in less than 4 mins tops. Maybe sooner. Anyone with a crowbar should be good enough for this method. Even if he kicks you down you can punch once he will block then your back to dodge punching. It’s easy because it’s nearly impossible to lose combo unless the higher difficulties make them do crazier moves. I’d just make a new game on friendly if it’s too hard to get on hard
Yeah same. Tried it after I finished New Game+ playthrough, that meant they had guns though and at around 60 or so someone always randomly gets a shot to hit restarting the count.

i found it easiest to go to combat challenge 2.0. dodge the enemies. it’s really predictable, just avoid perfect dodging. make sure to set the difficulty to friendly. go to accessibility and turn on the longer dodging window thing. you can instead just pull the same guy up in the air. it’s really really easy and safe, it does take a while though. hope this helps.

Finally got it! Put the difficulty on Ultimate and Dodge until 100. If you feel the enemies aren't gonna attack and break your combo, just give them a punch or two.
I tried for two hours doing this the hard way fighting the underground got to 89 😅 gave up and looked it up and found this video I also wasn't aware that lowering the difficulty would make the counter not reset when hit ... I loath myself 😂 thanks man
I got to 97 in underground base. At the end only one enemy was left far away at the top of the base. By the time I got to him, the timer reset and I lost my combo 🙈
You don't have to start a new game. After you've completed the story. You can just replay every mission at the missions tab when clicking your touchpad.
I just did a 202 hit combo, took down the whole crew just to make sure the game wouldnt consider it a if by accident i had gotten hit in the meantime and the achievement didnt unlock...Im on PC using Epic Game Launcher.
I had this game in my closet for about 2 years....this winter break I broke it out and started to play....just within the week and half I've really gotten Into it....I'm on 36 trophy out of 50....I'm really enjoying the game....gameplay and all.....just think one more villian would've been perfect.....thanks for the 100x combo video....💯

For those people who couldn’t do it, you can jump and then yank the enemies in the air, dodge then repeat until you lose altitude and then jump to do it again
I was struggling a bit with this, found sometimes they just missed the attack window and stood around. Feel free to give them a punch now and then to help you over the line, get to at least 90 then just wail on em
This didn't work for me because I'd web them in the face when I dodged n time would slow down so the combo would reset... how I got it was the combat 1.0 challenge on ultimate I'd kick the holo bots in the air then web them towards the other bots and kept doing that but gotta watch out for the bot with the gun it will reset you, Challenge gives you 1 minute enough time for 100x.. hope this helps someone 🙂
I just got this. I set my dodging window higher and I did the activity where the feast truck is being attacked. I did the jump and air yank and this worked. Definitely don't panic because it does take a little bit of time and things do get kind of tight but this worked for me after probably all the fixes that they put in place to keep this from being an easy thing to accomplish. 2 years after the game was released.
Another great spot to get this trophy is during the bridge fight in the level "Time to Rally" because there are a lot of enemies on the bridge all I did was turn tor difficulty down to friendly neighbourhood and didn't use any venom attacks or finishers in case the enemies were defeated too quickly. And don't worry if you run out of enemies just pause the game and rest to last checkpoint
holding triangle pulls an enemy toward you. defeat all enemies in an area (crimes are usually easiest), then pull the final enemy 100 times, running away when they get too close so you dont throw them and do damage
Another way:when you're fighting roxxon with prowler and instead of leaving Switch to Friendly neighbourhood difficulty, and they don't stop spawning, so try that.
This didn't work for me at all. I couldn't get past 25 this way. In the end I used mods that gave me extra camouflage time and kept triggering the camo as it gives you double combo points per hit.
Hey this actually worked, thanks. I just did it at a crime scene with 10 or so weak thugs. Only one gun in the group so easy to just stay right in the centre of them.

As of 3rd July 2021 this worked for me, I just did it on friendly mode. It didn't even matter that you web their heads with perfect dodge. Thank you sir!
I don't object to it clearing the combo when you get hit but what I have an issue with is the 4 second timeout when not hitting an enemy. What happens is you did really well clearing out your enemies and earned a high combo score. When you run out of enemies at that part of the map you've got 4 seconds to find another one otherwise it clears. It doesn't matter what difficulty you have it on this rule of time based combo clearing has not been thought through properly.
The combo meter runs out faster now so anyone new to this go to combat 2.0 and turn your difficulty all the way up so enemies have bigger health and you can go ham
Went further into the game, and turned up to ultimate, kept three of those big fist dudes and spammed air yank, ended with 115. prisoners at the start died on. friendly. Now to speed Run new game plus for the platinum

Venom Jumps are the way to go with that one upgrade that allows venom orbs on the ground

Later in the mission, I just did normal combat and the trophy appeared. There are a lot of enemies in the Roxxon place, near the end.

This didn't work for me at all. I couldn't get past 25 this way. In the end I used mods that gave me extra camouflage time and kept triggering the camo as it gives you double combo points per hit.
You can also add camouflage it adds extra points on the combo

Hey this actually worked, thanks. I just did it at a crime scene with 10 or so weak thugs. Only one gun in the group so easy to just stay right in the centre of them.

@@drewtube6838 worked for me. check your suit mods tab to see that you dont got any mods on that could increase like the perfect dodge window or smth
@@Kattknortar47 I realized it was my controller. I kept getting to like 80X+ and it would reset, once I switched to a different controller it popped.

I don't object to it clearing the combo when you get hit but what I have an issue with is the 4 second timeout when not hitting an enemy. What happens is you did really well clearing out your enemies and earned a high combo score. When you run out of enemies at that part of the map you've got 4 seconds to find another one otherwise it clears. It doesn't matter what difficulty you have it on this rule of time based combo clearing has not been thought through properly.

If you are further in the game. I did it at a Raft prisoner robbery and dodged around the shop interior
The combo meter runs out faster now so anyone new to this go to combat 2.0 and turn your difficulty all the way up so enemies have bigger health and you can go ham
Went further into the game, and turned up to ultimate, kept three of those big fist dudes and spammed air yank, ended with 115.
prisoners at the start died on. friendly.
Now to speed Run new game plus for the platinum
