  • The Yamaha CLP-735 and CSP-150 two excellent options at similar price points that lean towards different types of players with their offerings and each of these choices are going to be absolutely perfect for certain players. To put it broadly, the philosophy behind CSP is to add as much technological versatility as possible by incorporating tablet touch screen, teaching & music creation software, music theory, and notation, etc. The CLP series is geared towards the purist who is looking for a digital piano to practice as a substitute for an acoustic instrument and not necessarily interested in extra music creation software etc., but instead look for improved action, sound samples, etc. Let's take a look and listen to the Yamaha CLP-735 vs CSP-150. #Yamaha #Clavinova #DigitalPiano #CSP150 #CLP735

What must be mentioned is that CSP can record the piano in the tablet with ultimate audio quality and over record many other instruments AND your voice if you plug a mic. It is a home studio!!!!

Appreciate any reviews, even though sales first (of course), but getting a little frustrated due to almost all comparo videos (and written "reviews") positing the same binary, black and white proposition: do you want a basic, "practice" piano, with no frills, or do you want something more (sounds, accomp, etc). Almost NO one considers that someone is looking for both. When they literally asked that in this video, I was pracitically screaming YES! (to both questions) :P Maybe because there are so few models in the market that do both (well), without costing even more than these two (which is already pretty spendy), I don't know. But it's like the customer is being forced to choose between those two use cases. I would love to see a model (any manufacturer) that incorporates very good arranger/keyboard functions, with very good action and piano sounds/samples. Not The Best out of each (bc then you definitely want to "choose a path" as it were), but just well above average...very good to great. :D Subjective I guess.
    Looking for:
    $1500-$2500 price range
    Very good to great action
Very good to great arranger features and quality
    Preferably console style
Anyone know of a model that meets these criteria, I would appreciate hearing about it!

Thanks a lot for these videos! I own a Clavinova. And now am looking to upgrade, so these videos really help me try to decide which one to go with. I'm a recording artist, so this info is really helpful.

Could you compare the clp 735 and 745?

The csp sounds to be on a good level. However, the clp has a depth that makes me want this piano.

I am on the fence about placing order between these very two models.......I can't test any currently so im ordering blind. I dont care about dozens of different voices, I dont really compose my own music. Just a intermediate level piano player looking to progress. The light guidance seems cool.....but is it more gimmicky after a while?

I recommend CSP 150 . The CLP-735 is a good piano, but it won't give you capability like the CSP series. If you don't have enough sound, you can buy external monitors from Adam A5-A7 and immediately the instrument will sing like a concert grand piano.I've been using CSP 150 for a little over a year now and it's really a wonderful piano that will help raise your skill to a new level.

@@trollenz Hi there, just got back from vacation. I ended up getting the CSP170 because thats what my supplier was able to get his hands on sooner. And I am extremely happy with it. Those guide lights are very cool for younger people or anyone just starting out. The backing band tracks you can add to any of your pieces and play as if you are in a band are amazing. No regrets at all and definitely csp over clp for me. Only thing is CSP is being discontinued now and they will start to offer a new CSP 2xx line sometime next year or late this one. But I am very happy. This one helps me get through this COVID lockdown insanity

@@rubberroast1598 thanks for the info... I was indeed very seduced by the features, and yes I've started searching for one and haven't been able to find any available... Let's wait and see what they come up with. Glad you enjoyed your purchase. Cheers.

@@halytorresguibon5689 I recommend that you look first of all at the functionality and the simpls and the keyboard. The sound is easy to make fantastic buy external monitors such as Adam A5-A7.I bought myself an Adam A3x and I don't use the built-in piano acoustics at all, since it's just terrible compared to professional speakers P.n I have a CSP-150
