Great! We've been using Hamaam more than 30 years for now. Only if the concept of incinerators and hamaam could combine, that'd also solve the waste management problem in hill states of our country.
Maharashtra rular area has this instrument for boiling water for more than 600 yrs back or even more.... It's made up of copper or pital here... Called bumb💯
Here at my place we make hot water while cooking food on fire Without Extra fire for water heating One fire severe in two ways for cooking and for water heating
Seriously guys I am from Himachal Pradesh. But these kinds of hamams are available from decades. This is just a propaganda. Nothing much. please don't tell this and show on your channel.
Meanwhile we all complain when Ac is not turned on before we enter our bedrooms and heater not being turned on... we should be so thankfull and stop complaining for being so previledged while people like them are working so hard yet are happy with their lives...
@@AjayThakur-kn7un you mean wood is free? If yes, the whole point of this hamam concept is to improve burning efficiency. Subsidized LPG does the same, just better, no more going to forest for gathering wood.

Folks, the point is that these communities are at least a century behind while the urban world has moved leaps and bounds ahead. Where do folks from Delhi go get their firewood? Nowhere, because they have moved on to LPG and electricity. It is really regressive to expect these woman folks to still forage the forests for subsistence. If you really think so, then you should show solidarity by ditching your car and bike for a bullock cart.
We were using this for decades! it's called "bamba" in rural area of Maharashtra.
In urdu it's called bhapka, thanks for sharing.
Grandpa had this it was made of copper
Copper bamba one made best use of energy from firewood..to heat water/provide heat
Almost everywhere in rural india

One of the best channels I have watched on environmental initiatives in India. Great job!
News channels should show these kind of stories instead of shouting debates or fake news
This is how we must solve problems & help everyone in any situation.
Hats off to all women. And hats off to the men who always support them
I'm glad a simple technology is able to improve women's lives and life in general.
So it is very useful with regard to their time and using less resources than earlier.
Hamam is a Game Changer in their life

Last I checked, wood was renewable?
I only hope that the hamams are insulated using a double layer build.
It's not, simply a tin-sheet is used. We use it on daily-basis in Himachal.
@@fossil_cancerian But that way the water won't stay hot for long. Adding another layer with insulation in between can make it so much more efficient.

Solar water heating? Solar Cooking? Expensive?
I am confused. Isn't this is too little solution coming too late ? If someone really wan to help them just donate Solar water heater.
Why don't they provide electricity effectively
This water boiler is not a new invention, it has been used for 100y, we have an ancestral 100y old thing in my house.

There is a better invention... It's called LPG.
