I love Hennessy and D’usse but I fell in love with Martell Blue Swift V.S.O.P. it’s so SMOOTH. It’s definitely my new favorite brand!

Martell VS is very good. Martell VSOP is fantastic. Martell XO is like drinking liquid silk.
On my second bottle of Martell XO $275 with taxes $285.. I drink the Martell Vs instead of Hennessey privilege it's less money and just as good if not better quality

Martell is the 1st Cognac house established 1715......the success is based on the product in the bottle not the advertising like Hennessy spends on TV Radio Magazines..... I have always gotten the Martell VSOP Medallion which ended production a few years ago over getting Hennessy or Courvoisier and now it has been replaced with the Red Barrel VSOP...... If you can find a bottle get yourself Courvoisier VSOP Sheery Cask

@@jakefever Haven't tried that one. But Blue Swift was not bad. I dig that Vs and vsop(in red box about 35.99 for the fifth) the most! Enjoy!

I've been sitting on an unopened handle of Remy Martin VS for the past 6 years. They stopped making VS about 10 years ago. If I open it, would you like a sample to review to compare the big 4 houses? Keep it up brother!!
Martell is clearly better imo. The nose & palate are more complex and it tastes more matured and older than Hennessy. Hennessy XO is still very good but cannot beat Martell.

I just rewatched this video and had to think a good minute..... 30yrs ago when I was learning about Cognac and the Grades VS, VSOP & XO I never recall seeing Martell VS or Remy VS in stores.... just VSOP or XO.... Courvoisier and Hennessy had VS available but not the other two....Plus being China wasn't as Far along in their Transition into a Imdustrial Global Manufacturing Kingpin the demand for Cognac in Asia wasn't as Big so many VSOP Cognac's were 10-20yr old Blends not the 6-20yr blends we see today. And XO's were 20-25-35yr or more blends. Average price for an XO was $75-$130.... Hell XO did start getting Krazy Priced till 2018-2019.... 2021 just went Nuts with $175-$260 the average Retail price
