Camilla martin style of play seems changes a lot , In 90s when she was young , she play attacking style with smashes and sharp dropshot but in 2000-2004 she seemsto prefer the defensive style of play by moving the opponent to the four corners of badminton court
Looking back at this, what we admired most about Martin was her steely resolve. She was as determined as I ever saw any player. Also, the 7-5 format was hopeless. Didn't produce any decent play, all nerves
No offense, i think current WS players play much more technical and interesting such as tai tzu ying, okuhara, yamaguchi, intanon, or carolina marin...
Actually we are in the golden era of WS. so many talented WS players at the moment, TTY, CYF, Akane, ASY, Marin, Intanon, Sindhu and the best part is each one of them have distinctive playing style. Weve never experienced something like this before.

What a difference two decades makes in the sport. These two were at the pinnacle of the discipline back then, but I'd guess today's top 25 are all significantly faster and stronger. Imagine ASY/TTY/Marin against either of these two -- it would be a wipeout.
