This was the best era of TPIR, IMO.
My absolute hatred of 3 Strikes started on that day.
Without question, or at least in my opinion, Three Strikes is the most suspenseful car game if not overall pricing game on this show. That loss hurts. If that was me, I probably would’ve had a breakdown.
Christmas 1996 is ruined!
@@ckfinke7625 This is one of my favourite episodes... I remember it aired again the following year and it was poorly edited to remove the "1996".
@@cpowers94 And it aired on Christmas Eve 1997, appropriately. Then they repeated the Christmas 1996 episode on Christmas Day!

I was 4 when this aired. I didnt start watching the show till around 5 or later. I'm 31 now. Rest in Peace Bob.

No doubt about that. This show had a lot of excitement and camaraderie when Bob Barker hosted it over the years. Could the same be said about the show with Drew Carey as host? No way!!!

At 35:50, a 1996 Compaq personal computer with 8-mega-bytes of memory! That's about enough to store a few pictures, and ridiculously small by the standards of 2022, when personal computers have tera-bytes of memory; that's roughly a million times more memory in personal computers in 2022.

That 3 Strikes game is bullshit! Especially when Bob mixes the discs all up inside the bag everytime he has to put a number back in it. It's like they want you to lose the game!
