- I present to you the one and only Christmas episode from Season 23. The show was in reruns for pretty much after the 13th until the 23rd (for what reason I don't know) and as a result there was only one Christmas themed episode. Here it is, I hope you'll enjoy!
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to my subscribers and viewers! Развлечения
Even though I was only 4 years old when this aired, I feel such nostalgia watching this Christmas episode. Feels like innocence and warmth during those years.
And I was 13 and in seventh grade. The 90's were good times. I sure miss Dian, Holly, Kathleen and Janice. Holly the most.
@@filmgirlgz Holly was such a doll on that show!
I was 13
I hate to be an Ebenezer Scrooge but those times were NOT so innocent.. "Things" were just hidden better because we didn't have huge internet social media... But I remember that Holly was one of the models who sued Bob Barker for Sexual Harassment 😮😮
I like how Bob gives credit to the set decorator here. I always liked how they had it decorated for Christmas. It is over the top nice.
Rob Allen sure did a damn good job in putting together the Christmas Set during this Season! I mean, it looked more and more detailed as the show progressed during the Bob Barker era. But I believe this Christmas 1994 set was the best one ever!
Who's Rob Allen?
Their set decorator. No one decks the halls for Christmas on game shows like this anymore
Bob Barker says "Merry Christmas" almost like he's Santa Claus.
If you got called up on stage, he pretty much was!
Love Connie's screaming reaction. She sounds like Ree Drummond.
I want to thank the person who posted this episode. I had this on tape but not all the way through. The tape ended where the 2 small prizes in secret x were being described so now that this holiday episode is on youtube, I can finally find out the outcome of what happened.
Nick Wells you're very welcome, glad I was able to help :)
The shows where Bob comes down from the audience, I love that.
Excellent Christmas 🎄 showcase 1994. 😀👍🎅

YES!!! My home state of NC and WRAL. This was also when The Nighttime Version of The Price is Right with Doug Davidson was on. My first Christmas working retail also. Awesome memories 😁
WRAL is now affiliated with NBC.
That was a very enjoyable episode.
Only missing Dian :(
I remember sitting with my Mom watching Truth or Consequences before Bob moved to The Price is Right. That was a long time ago. Mom passed two years ago at 93 years old.
This Christmas episode was from the day before Christmas Eve. I have not seen this in years.
i was born a few days before this :)
WRAL is where legendary wrestling announcer Bob Caudle was once weatherman.
My very first Christmas
MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR.

Quite a difference in showcase values in this show compared to the December 23 or 24 episodes of 2004. These 1994 showcase were a combined worth of just under $40,000, whereas December 23, 2004 was over $88,000 (a motorhome was in one of the showcases) and December 24, 2004 was over $62,000 (a Ford Explorer and a Ski Boat were in those showcases, and both were won by Brooke (DSW)). Impression inflation.
@Joe Wright Yes - the failure of the nighttime show(damn OJ trial!) led to budget cuts in daytime for Price for much of the 1994/95 season.
Thankfully, much of the budget would recover the following season (plus they inherited the cues from the Davidson version, which were added to its music library)
Was the motorhome won?
3 years before Festivus
Honestly, I don't know why, but I'm always partial to the elderly winning on TPIR. I'm more excited when an elderly person wins than when a young person wins.
Oh, and Happy Holidays to you, too, trailblazer91 :)
Yeah, I feel the same exact way now. I always pull for the older contestants, and hope the younger contestants lose badly.
Murrel is one luck guy getting to meet Holly. Anyone notice Holly gave him a picture (autographed I assume) after winning the showcase?
neilrocks87 Lucky indeed! I've heard nothing but great things about Holly, she seemed like a very genuine person.
I noticed that. How cool is that she was nice enough to do that for him. Very nice gesture on her part.
Real lucky indeed, as Holly was unamiably let go from TPIR 9 months later in September '95
@neilrocks87 Holly was not only beautiful and good at her job but she was a genuine human being .. I'm not surprised she did what she did for that man .. happy for him! Does anyone know who those two blondes were that came running up on stage at the end??
Connie wins her cash prize, but I can't believe she never shops. Oh well. At least $10,000 came in quite handy for her. As for 3 Strikes...never mind.
That 3 strikes was rough to watch
@@Paul8820 that was not my favorite 3 Strikes moment because she had really bad luck.
3 Strikes is a pain in the ass game to play and win
time past so fast...1994 I was 20 years old 🙂
2020 was the 1st strong year of you
Tube price is right reruns cbs
Good old WRAL. Good times on CBS, now it moved to NBC.
HCHavenBunny WCBS-TV (channel 2) in New York City does the same with the cast from the show for a special holiday message.
I remember watching this episode on WBNG Ch 12. I was 12 years old back then growing up in Deposit, New York. I was in 5th Grade when I started to go to school at Deposit Elementary so I'll be home in no time. Sadly, it was my first Christmas without my father (he died 12 days before this episode aired).
Laptop computer...a perfect way for Santa to keep that list. Unfortunately, this was long before the Internet, so there was no way to e-mail your letter to him.
If you think that's bad, I have an episode from 1992 where the showcase offered a laptop that was much more archaic :P
*****
Yeah, but I read somewhere the Internet started around the 1960s, and the WWW didn't start until either 1989 or 1990.
7:54 The groans from the crowd on Bob’s reveal of $1,008. By the way I love the look of the old school Grand Game!
OMG, I grew up in the WRAL viewing area!
I miss the pre-9/11 world.
Sorry for bringing up 9/11 everyone. :/
It's ok man so do I :/

There was an episode that aired 12/22/1994, I know this because I was ON IT!! But I cannot find it anywhere!! I recorded it on VHS and lost it. I am not crazy WE DID THE XMAS EPISODE IN DEC OF 1994!!
Carousel Horse is $3000?
Holly! Boing!!!
Happy Holidays? which holiday are you talking about?
♥️ MERRY CHRISTMAS ♥️
Santa's truck looks great, and better than modern ones!
And I was born the 31st
For those who was wondering why TPIR had only one Christmas episode in ‘94, part of the reason was taping were postponed due to Barker’s sexual harassment lawsuit. We all know the story there. But because Barker had to be in court for those events, the episodes that would be part of Christmas Week had to be cancelled. The set was different from the repeats of Christmas shows in ‘93 until they aired the only Christmas show in ‘94
Even today they always pull the first chip a strike when they play 3 strikes.
6:26 looks like Annabelle doll sitting on the rocker.

hi markk
I'm sorry!
I was fifteen when this episode aired. We didn't have a TV at our house, but I used to watch it at both of my Grandma's houses! Loved the old episodes with Bob way more than the newer ones with Drew. It's just not the same anymore! Thanks for the upload!
The three strikes game is very hard to win. I'd rather play the lucky seven or the hole in one game for a chance to win a car.
Upload something for Bob Barker’s birthday today!
Here's the ⭐ of the $ Is Right.....Bob Barker!!!!!!!!:)❤❤❤
I had a feeling Connie was from Oklahoma. And I was right.
Good Bye Bob Barker (1923-2023)
i know back in the 1990s there was 1 model on there her name was pamela anderson before she was on baywatch
It was Gena Lee Nolin, later the star of _Sheena,_ a Stephen L. Sears/ Douglas Schwartz production about the queen of the jungle.
They should've dressed Kathleen in a green sequin dress! Holly was in red (stunning!), Janice in gold, and the other model, who I don't know, in silver ... why Kathleen in black?! Too bad Dian wasn't there for this beautiful TPIR Christmas episode!
The very first one called down should stand in the spot where they will be called on to make the last bid which gives them an advantage. Some get this right. But not this time.
What's the name of that music playing while Rod was describing the Hooker Desk?
It's a commercial version of Good King Wenceslas
Who is that 3rd blonde model
@Jeff Keyes Geena Lee Nolin AKA Neely from Baywatch
@@Paul8820 Awful, Dian was so much prettier/sexier and better at modeling the items. Also, the four ladies : Janice, Dian, Holly & Kathleen were amazing together!
I was 7 and on winter break
lol fly Los Angeles to palm Springs. what is that a 15 minute flight at most? 10-15-15
AmericanPride1234 they get it right in the current shows. anywhere in Southern california as a prize, they use a lemo, central/northern california prizes they fly. I think if they came out of town, then maybe i got this flight from this show. maybe they might have had to use LA as a means
Considering that the distance between Los Angeles and Palm Springs is only 107 miles (and about an hour and 38 minute drive), I imagine that the flight wouldn't take long at all.
@2:00 why would you fly from Los Angeles to Palm Springs? It’s only like 100 miles.
I miss all the red on the set
17:00 LOONEY TUNES BACK IN ACTION THE MOVIE
Unfair to bid just one bid over another person
How many times has a contestant in 3 strikes got 3 strikes in a row, like Karen got.
+Dan Barker I'm not too sure but I've got at least two other episodes where it has happened.
Why don't they play the trombones anymore????
Dan Barker to
It happened throughout the 1994 Christmas episode, she lost in "3 Strikes", the most difficult game to win a car and she was disappointed when the Grinch took the car to Whoville.
She didn't get 3 strikes in a row. She got 3 strikes in 5 draws, as she drew the 6 chip twice. But it has happened at least once before, on a very old episode in the 70s, back when 3 strikes was played with only 4 digits (cars less than $10k in value).
Terrible playing of 3 strikes. How often did the contestants get all three strikes before getting one number.
21:47 uh what did you say, Rod? (I was 13 when this was on so I’m definitely required to be as immature about it as possible)
Prize
.. have a celebrity meet and. Greet at concert
I knew someone with one of those Ford Probes, green. Piece of shit car.
I had a teal Ford Probe, same year as that. I had it for 7 yrs., best car I ever had. It had a Mazda engine. Guess other people didn't have as good luck as I did with Probes, because you don't see them on the road anymore. But you do the Ford Taurus', which I had & was a major piece of crap!!
