Hadassah is a Jewish charity that is dedicated to strengthening ties between Jewish Communities and Israel as well as helping Jewish communitoes in need in the US. Thr Knights of Columnus is a Catholic charitable organisation. Nobody ever accuses them of racism or discrinination. It's not racist to support your own community. Especially, when they are often unfairly discriminated against and disenfranchised.

Is it discriminatory to initiate a fund to help any specified purpose/group? Should the American Cancer Society be expected to support heart disease or HIV patients? Are they discriminating against heart patients because they are not assisting them, but only cancer patients? Private entities - at minimum - should be able to put their money and energies where they choose.
How short-sighted these anti-affirmative action ppl are - can they really be blind to the fact that uplifting a marginalized group contributes to the overall good of the entire society? In preparing for the Olympics, does, say, the gymnastics coach only assist the most successful gymnast? Doesn't the entire team have a better chance of winning the team medal - either now, or down the road - if attention and coaching is provided even to the least experienced members? Or in baseball - doesn't throwing money at the elder superstar at the expense of nurturing the young ones coming up the pipeline often lead to long years of losing records? When will ppl realize we are part of a network, that lifting up groups that were previously neglected is is not a zero-sum game, but a win-win situation?

He was talking about the actual affects that Affirmative Action had on the black demographic. Did it mean the program only assisted black ppl? No. They already established that the program assisted WOC. So it was pretty childish for Ana to chime in about Latinos when no one excluded them.

I'm a black woman who owns a small, thriving business with my husband (also black). Arian Simone mentioned that black women (or women of color) are the most underfunded group in entrepreneurship, only receiving about 0.39% of venture capitalist funds. On the surface, Arian's plight sounds noble, but underneath the facade, it's gaslighting.
If one simply googles the steps in getting funding from a venture capitalist, it is probably one of the most challenging routes to take in business, regardless of race or gender. Secondly, you can't stop at 0.39%. You then have to go further and ask how many black women are even seeking venture capitalist funding in the first place? Being in entrepreneurship, I can ascertain that very few are taking this route. And if very few women are even taking this route, what does that say about her statistic? I would like to see some numbers regarding how many women are applying and how many women are being denied - through venture capitalists before I can even get behind this.
I'm all for fighting a noble cause, but how noble can it be if you're gaslighting and conflating the issues. You're just taking away from the real ones.
