Met them countless times, with both Patrick Fyffe & George Logan it was hard to see Dame Hilda & Dr.Evadne, they played the 'Dear Ladies' with great truth, great authenticity and sincerity that is just three reasons that made them so real and beautiful singing voices, even the singing was authentic.
The most objectionable programme ever - really ? So you have a problem with some of the most loved stars ever of all those years being rightly honoured! And before you come out with Jimmy Saville and Gary Glitter having had it, that was alas sadly way before all of what they had done actually being put in the public eye so cause of 2 vile individuals - still shouldn't cancel out all the greats this programme over the decades it was on being shown how much they were regarded by their peers in the Industry.
