A huge talent dearly missed 😢❤
Didn't know this existed, wish I'd seen it or see the whole thing uploaded here.
"A handbag"? - CLASSIC!!! Very well done...
Pleased to say I saw this at Sunderland Empire in around 1988 ish I think it was :) Superb
Having recently discovered this due i was sad to see the lack of content released on home media.
I wish I would have seen them live in the Theatre. They were fantastic.

A handbag classic line and classic play
What Every Drag Queen wishes she could be.
Does the video of this play exist? I saw it in London in 1987 and it was the funniest thing I've ever seen. I would love to see it again if such a video exists.
Not from us , its a Thames News piece so what you see is all we have.
I have a full copy of the theatre version that I am currently uploading to my you tube channel. It will not be great visual because its filmed on a video recorder from the back of the auditorium. The audio is good however and worth watching. My father Chubby Oates was in the play (he was the butler and the gardener). He toured with the play on several occasions and was there on Monday 9th November 1987 when HRH The Princess of Wales (Lady Di) attended the performance at The Whitehall Theatre London. Chubby (R.I.P.) was given the tape as a souvenir of the show.
Dr Evadne Mona Montpelier Hinge.........TIMID? Lol not exactly typecasting.
Where can we find the whole play ?
Have you had your tablets dear? 😂😂
