Never too late. I switched careers and started my LLB at 37 ( with invaluable work experience acquired in corporate and government sectors.) and finished my LLB with Hons, while working full time. Graduated and living my dream job as a lawyer now.
how was working fulltime and studying..did you study fulltime as well?
Inspirational, I started my first year last year at 31. Single mom, awarded a bursary to continue my marketing degree. While upskilling on the side, you can do it
Did I not cry watching this video😭 as a 32 yrs old mother of 3 doing my 2nd year in accounting (Part time) with so much preasure at home and working full time in health department during the pandemic😭 I say this all the time kunzima but I love what I'm doing 🙌
Wow👏🏾👏🏾you are doing great ,strength to you mama🌷🌺
Love and light to you babe, hold on to your dreams and invite God in every part of your process and every part of your day, each and everyday.
Push sis. Yours will also be a story that will be told. Love it ❤️❤️
Wow sis🤗
Sis we got this I'm 33 in my first year Bcom Law with a family and working 2 jobs ! Now is our time!
Some people are STARTING a 4 year LLB at 31 and some in their 40s. They have so much life experience to offer and they see things including study material with a well rounded view.
Yes definitely. Just another example that it’s never too late to go back to school
I started LLB at age 21 after a diploma in Human Rights. My financial woes started in my 3rd year. I'm 36 now completing with unisa. Technically done but redoing some modules which were not credited. I understand like and law so much more now. I'm more confident and ready to make a difference in society
So inspiring, I am doing LLB year 2 with UNISA at the age of 51 and am strict and passionate to see myself as a lawyer. The host is absolutely true and realistic because age must not be barrier to your ambitions..Bravo
.
Tshidi this was so inspiring and motivating, i am on my Second year, first semester of Law school and i am 29, sometimes i get demotivated thinking i am just late, but i am sooo inlove with Law, but now i know i just have to work hard and keep pushing. Thank you guys for this😭🙏🙏😁😍🥰, Karabo is the best
Dont be discouraged sis. Continue on and persevere. One thing I always remind myself is that 5 years from now you will be 5 years older. You might as well get to that 5+ years in age with a degree, that will essentially better yourself as a person. Focus on you and dont worry. You will make it and thrive. Furture you will be proud and thank you for the decisions and hard work put in.
@@liso_lethu thank you sis for the encouragement, i will definitely push because i want that degree.
Keep pushing sis! One thing about Karabo’s story is that, there’s no such thing as too late. ❤️
Keep up the good work Bridget, you'll be fine
@@mandlacakane6547 Thank you, will do.
I'm 24 in my second year of law school at Wits feeling like a complete failure sometimes because I had imagined that I would be much further in my life by now. So genuinely, thank you for showing me that I can still lead a purposeful life, regardless of how old I feel in comparison to my classmates
So glad this video was inspiring to you. Continue to push sis ❤️
You and I are in the same boat,Im turning 24 next year and will be doing my second in law at Wits butIm not discouraged bc we have people who are 33 and 40 in our class
I am 28 doing my 2nd year LLB I'll be 31 when I do my articles.
Push sis. It will be over before you know it. ❤️
You know I believe God speaks in many ways and this video was Him answering my questions and stilling my heart. Thank you so much for the inspiration ❤❤
I’m 26 years left with one bar exam (Accounting for Lawyers) yet to become an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya after I pass my 9th paper it’s been a journey.graduated LLB in 2017 December. Glad I landed on this channel. My advise is that there’s not timeline to follow your dreams. Keep pushing 🙏♥️🙏
I'm motivated by this video because I'm 22 now and I'm only finishing my BCom Law this year and I'll be finishing my LLB at 26. I'll be starting articles at 27😢
Actually you only have to do two years of law school you'll be credited for other modules. Meaning you'll graduate at after two years
@@sukoluhlenkululeko8692I'm from Varsity College, so students from other universities it is 3 years
Can’t wait for you to get to the finish line sis! All the best for your journey ❤️
I switched careers and started my journey into the legal field at like 25, I had to finish by bachelor's degree first (I'm in the U.S it's a requirement). I'll be graduating from full-time law school program next summer and I will turn 30 a few months later in August. Age is not a limit to anything :-) I think a lot of young people feel like if they don't have a permanent job at 21/22yrs old they're a failure and that's not true. We can always change our mind, grow in stability and pursue different things. Outside of my law career there's plenty of stuff I want to pursue
Such a beautiful comment! Thank you for this. It’s so true, there’s no age to education.
I will always respect people that have kids and/or are working and studying, it’s already tough studios without having other commitments.
What a purposeful life this lady is leading. I love how she goes for what her heart yearns for. I know she's gonna be bigger than what she already is.
“I knew that there was something bigger, I couldn’t articulate what that was”♥️ loved every moment of this interview
Thank you friend ❤️
This was so helpful..I’m 23 starting my LLB journey next year..I’m very inspired 🙏🏽❤️
This story has inspired me!!!! I'm currently 21 and studying Industrial and Organisational psychology but I have a passion for law. "there is beauty in detour" I have definitely been motivated and know that one day I'll have completed my law degree🙏🙂
New subbie! And this was so inspiring. 23 and a mother, partner and student and this has made me feel gore no mahn, I’m still young and I’ll make it still 😭❤️
So inspired by your drive to do more in my life, and never be intimidated by failure.
This video randomly popped up on my recommeded at a time when I needed it the most. 29 and I'm having a career crisis and huge part of me was feeling like it's too late to start anything new
I'm 28 having a career crisis too.. Went as far as masters but it seems i chose a wrong career path because unemployment. I wanna start over next year with a new career. It's not easy but it has to be done. May you find courage in knowing that you are not the only one and try try fo figure out what your next career path will be.
I hope this video was the sign you needed to know that it’s never to late sis ❤️
Career crisis can be a mind-fuck.
I’m 29 turning 30 and I feel the same. I have a Degree but I can’t find employment and I feel like I’m in a rut. I want to start another career but I’m so confused 🥺.
If only you knew how much of an inspiration you are to me Tshidi🙏♥️. Thank you for this interview. The friendship and genuine respect between you two intelligent ladies is beautiful ♥️🥺🌸.
The fact this was taken in one take and still engaging tells you about the quality of the interview. Amazing chat.
❤️❤️
I've been postponing to watch this installment since last week, but something kept on reminding me to go back and watch, and I did! Look, I don't know why did I delay because Wow!! 😭😭😭 Aus Karabo spoke to me in so many ways 😭, first and foremost was a reminder that IT'S NOT TOO LATE 🥺! Sometimes I feel so discouraged because of my age and because of what my peers achieved at my age, but this installment reminded me that my journey is different and everything will fall into place all in due time. Thank you so much aus Karabo, you really are the epitome of your name ❤️
I’m so inspired, I graduated in 2015 and struggled to secure Articles so l ended up giving up on the dream of being admitted. I have been feeling like I’m too old to go do Articles however after this I am definitely going to start applying for Articles again.
Thank you 🙏🏿
Yay! Please do give us feedback when you get admitted (because I know you will). All the best
I think I needed to watch this video! I'm 33 years old and immin my first year of Bcom Law, it's been my dream to be an attorney but circumstances in my life just never let it happen. During lockdown last year I made up my mind to study and I'm loving it. But I felt old, I mean I will be 38 by the time I do my articles you know, but like you said in the video "you never to old" I felt that!
Thank you for making the video please do more of these kinds of videos!
Omg i needed to see this rn because I've been considering going back to school to finish my degree but the age issue was stressing me out😭😭thank you for this i really needed to hear this.
Age ain’t nothing but a number. Good luck for your new journey ❤️
Thank you are this, I needed it as I have been contemplating on returning to varsity to get my undergrad at 29. This was my sign🤗
Yay! All the best sis ❤️
I love how she listens to the tugs in her heart. If we really listen and pay attention, what we are supposed to be doing is constantly speaking to us.
beautiful and inspiring interview. when something is meant for you, God will make way!!!
Always. What’s meant for you will never miss you.

❤️❤️
I'm 35 and I'm doing my second year in llb
This video was shot for me... I'm doing my final semester Diploma in Law with UNISA, and I want to pursue my LLB at a full time contact University next year.. I relate so much with the UNISA part, I'm passing my modules and stuff, but I don't feel confident at all. I need to focus on this Law thing full time. This Distance Learning thing is not working out for me. This video is the validation I needed.
Agh🥺. This is why we do it. It’s comments like this ❤️❤️
Hey EZEMIDLALO am also doing my diploma in unisa ,how was the experience studying at unisa?
"There's beauty in detour"😭😭 Wow this was so powerful and inspiring💯🔥

You’re actually onto something, we come out of High school at 17 and at 16 you should’ve already decided which varsity we’re going to & what which career we’re following, that’s so young to make such a huge life decision.

Wow, I’m inspired 🥰🙌🏽
The right time.....watched this twice before but today it's relevant for where I'm at in my life . Thank you both for this.
Only catching up on your content MRS Vilakazi 😜. I am pursuing a 3year LLB (Wits), because I took the 3rd option (3year Law stream). I find inspiration with the prospects of the legal career path that you detail in your videos, also very much inspired by yourself and Nhlanhla's Love story. This video in particular is very inspirational, because of a snag that I've hit in my growth and completing this degree. I am in my 4th year of a 3year degree, and an accident that affected my memory in the mix makes it more of a challenge. I believe after watching this, there remains hope. I agree with Karabo, you channel is built for a purpose.
Thank you so much for this ladies. Please don't underestimate its impact ❤️
Thank you Urs! ❤️
I needed this. Thank you ladies ❤🥂

Gosh I am 26 and doing my last year in law school goshhh I feel like m so old 🤞🏽🤞🏽🤞🏽😱😱😱😱I already have a diploma in law but I regret doing it because I had thoughts that it wasted my time I was supposed to do law degree only
I think the Diploma can be seen as laying a good foundation for degree. See it that way ❤️
@@karabomathangtshabuse3000 thanks u so much for making me realise that dear I m so grateful for you 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
I love employment law so much ☺️.

Tshidi could you please do a video on the different routes to being an advocate and to being an attorney
I’ve been planning this for song long. Hoping I can get someone to speak on the advocacy route. Thank you for the suggestion 😊

i am 21 will be 22 in december i am currently doing my hc at ufs working hard as much as i an since the are specific requirements for one to change to law sometimes i feel so demotivated because i feel like i took the most longest root but because i'm driven by my dream of wanting to be a lawyer i know i will make it
Your determination will get you there
Hi ladies. I understood half of the video coz Tswana is quite a mistery to me. Lol
Wow if she went to Wits in 2013 to study law, it means she was in my class nd we were the kids straight from high school😅 like her I dropped out of wits coz I thought I didn’t need education to succeed(was on some steve jobs vibes too🤣) . Cut long story short I had to go back at some point nd am now doing my last 3 months of My LLB n I’m 28😅 nd it just flew by🤯
Is there any way to reach out to Karabo for more info on her experiences as an older student and trying to get into a top firm?
