Hey Viksies
Welcome back to our channel!
I thought I would do a quick video answering the question whether I regret studying law. This video is informed by the conversations that have been happening on twitter and other social media platforms. I hope you enjoy this video.
Lets converse on our social media platforms:

I have 16 years in the legal industry.Got out of practice early and now in local government space as a legal advisor.it has always been my dream to be a lawyer ..having an LLB is a great foundation for any career
Wow! This is so encouraging. Thank you so much.
Let me know if you are keen to do an Instagram live please? 🙏🏽
During my LLB studies, I never could have imagined that there were so many career opportunities outside of practice. I went into consulting (forensics) straight out of varsity. Moved over to risk and compliance and now I'm in financial sector regulation and services.
I definitely do not regret my decision :)
Wow❤️ thank you so much for this
Right. There’s so many opportunities with this degree. Not everyone need to be an attorney or advocate.
We need to do a video sis ❤️
I’m keen 😊
Please give me your Instagram details ma, I would like more information about this 🙏
Are the horror stories people tell about unemployment in this field true?
I m suffering from imposter syndrome and it's really affecting me alot
Hi Mamotse!
I suffered from that too! It’s really the worst because you consistently doubt your ability.
Remember you are where you are because 1. You worked for it and 2. You deserve it. Imposter syndrome dimes the light on what you can bring to the table. Don’t let it do that
I am doing my second year and I love law and I will continue with my career irrespective of what people say. Thank you, Mrs. Viks, for your encouragement. There have been some final years that tried to discourage me saying that law is hard, but I believe that there is nothing hard you must be driven by passion.
I loved the "When you choose a profession based on love" message you read from Anelisa. This is exactly how I feel currently as a student. I love law, and that's all that matters to me. Yes I will face tribulations and storms ahead, but the love and passion I have for this field overrides any fear or negativity.
Yes Gauta. Continue with the course sis. It will come together. Work hard and put in the work.
All the best sis ❤️

Anyway thanks for the great content keep doing what you do...you've taught me so much especially with the "WHAT NEXT" once you graduate 🙏❤
This makes me so happy to hear. Even if you were the only person that benefited from my videos, it would be enough!
All the best for your journey ❤️
Your videos are always informative.❤️ Thank you for reminding us aspiring legal practitioners that this degree is worth it.
It is! You are going to be so great. So continue ❤️
Thank you Mrs viks, you are such an inspiration to us law students. We appreciate it and we are greatful. You are a rock star 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
Thank you so much Kay! This means a lot
The way I resonate so much with the passion thing is crazy.
I didn't get accepted for law for my first degree and I couldnt wait another year so I just did what I did and it didn't give me purpose so I didn't do well. But now that I am doing my postgrad LLB I'm actually so happy and as a result I'm doing really well.
I wish I planned this journey strategically first time I stepped into wits regardless of the degree I did.
I thank God for you and this message it was truly needed ❤️
Anytime ❤️❤️
Do you believe that one’s passion/s change over time? Do you believe that a person can love 2 or more different professions and try to experience them respectively? My question stems from what you mentioned in the video about choosing your passion and how it can be easy for one to provide for their families.
I do. I think that we need to be open to the possibility that you can change your mind during your journey - and that’s absolutely fine. As long as you are doing what you love at the moment you are doing it, that’s what’s important. ❤️
Hi Tshidi! what averages were you getting in law school? just wanted to have an idea 💜
Hi There
I would say between 70% - 80%. I would have to check because the 80% might be a bit of a stretch 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Looking good Mrs Viks ❤️

This was very encouraging, thank you 🙏
Always a pleasure ❤️
FYI it's true, she does reply to messages❤. I watched this video for the first time two days ago and texted her soon after on Instagram (I had legal questions😌) She actually replied back, it didn't even take her the whole day. We had a whole conversation since I kept on asking some more (again legal questions 😌)

You got such a beautiful energy. I truly resonate with your message, all the professions got it own things, they are hard. But when you follow your passion/calling you will never work your whole life, because every struggle you will face you will raise above it and where there is love money flows. Love operate in such a higher frequency. Thank you so much for always be authentic.
