@@dingdongismWell, not many musicians play instruments any more, and radio isn’t the same for sure! So much of today’s music is made with “beats,” so they were spot on. It’s all part of the past too, of course.
Finding newer music bland and same-y is something happens when the music you grew up listening goes out of fashion. That is likely how you feel about today's releases, but for the Ramones who grew up in the listening to 1950s and 1960s rock and roll, that happened in 1979.

They say, people go back to their childhood when they get older. Being born in 1976, I'm really loving the Ramones and rock groups, TV series etc from this era, as well as the dress sense from the 60s and the 70s. Let's face it, the platform shoes/boots from this era are more comfortable to walk in, then the stilettos of the 80s lol, being a woman ;)
As their lifetimes recede further and further into history, more and more people are realizing that the Ramones were one of the best bands of all time.

Saw them in 1992 in concert in Az. They did a cover of take it as it comes by the doors. What a great time 2 be alive. I was 18 then
Not to compare with other bands. Ramones is the original.

The Ramones most underrated song!
It's one of their iconic ones! In fact since its release they played it every time until their last show.
