Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München (LMU Munich) is one of Germany's top universities and one of the oldest universities in Europe. This 550-year-old university has produced a total of 28 Nobel Prize winners among its faculty members and alumni. In the 2022 Times Higher Education World University Rankings, LMU Munich was ranked 32nd, the first in Germany.
