The thing that really tips the balance are literal cheat mods like Health Bars, Chest Markers and Danger Zone. I almost feel like the game, as bad as it was in Vermintide 2, needs a sanctioned mod system. Because when mods start to substantially change player behavior to the point that it dramatically alters the gameplay experience it's too much.
I'm gonna be honest I don't wanna see my team's cooldowns. Whenever I have shout vets on my team I'm and struggling to undertsand why they rarely ult, I'd rather not know if it's because they're too stupid to get cooldown reduction, or too stupid to press 'f'.
What really annoys me is on xbox you can't use the zealot knives. The normal blitz button for controllers is down dpad, which is really awkward. Now what sucks is you can't set custom binds and the controller presets that exist all make no sense.
What really annoys me is alot of people use an auto target mod and it makes taking knives on console pointless and an excersize in futility. I still take them but it's way less valuable unless you're literally nuts with them. Not gamebreaking but really discouraging
I swapped my blitz button to left bumper, it works wonders for me. You can swap you buttons on the Xbox controller settings. Not in game, in like Xbox device settings
I see fewer stupid players than I did in VT2 because chasing green circles isn't a thing without a mod. It's a good improvement I wish would be implemented in other games. I don't need a scoreboard to tell me I did good, I can tell myself.
@@sirgaz8699 green circles actually made me feel bad about playing certain classes since i would get almost all green circles on some games, it felt like i didnt let my teammates play the game and enjoy themselves by killing everything on-sight. It completely changes your decision-making flow when you can see healthbars and that changes the experience to something the game is not.

True Story, playing with mods is a skill issue, some are nice to have but never nessecary. If you need mods to clear any game any Mode then the game is nothing for you. And this goes for any game.
I am sure Fatshark wants me to buy more cosmetics. But I all ready have the cosmetics I like for each of my loadout slots. If I had more loadout slot maybe I will buy mor cosmetics.
Ovenproof has stopped working on the scoreboard mod. He has a new mod which is basically an after action report, and it looks a lot sleeker, and you can view match stats like 10 matches back.
I mean they needed like 5 years to include secondary key bindings for vermintide 2. Darktide still doesn't freaking have them. Secondary key binds. That stuff was a thing in the 90s for crying out loud. I always have ro run and autohotkey playing this game so my hands wont burn like fire
Its just so weird how they go about deciding what to put in and what to leave behind. Vermintide 2 had the no duplication for the killfeed, scoreboard, true level (at least for yourself), and the ability to see your allies ult cooldown, all on consoles as well. Such simple QoL features that they emitted for either no reason or no good reason. Edit: we also had player outlines on console in VT2 as well lol
Oh my god just had a discussion about mods yesterday with a friend, all those small mods add up and improve quality of life and overall experience so much, i see no reason why we console players shouldn’t be able to use the same mods as everyone else
also the buttons to use the vendors without having to physically move around the mourningstar, even without psych ward! the diagetic in-world ui is cool sure, but it wastes SO MUCH time in so many different ways.
I want a scoreboard. I want to know how I did, and I want to be able to compare it to my teammates. If I got carried, I want to know that. If I sucked, I want to know that. If I was carrying, if my teammates sucked, I want to know that. I am a console player, and a scoreboard is kinda all I want.
Personally I don’t run any mods. I understand the use of some quality of life mods like the scoreboard and being able rearrange the UI but these mods that hold your hand like telling you when there is loot nearby and the auto complete minigame mods. Those are just sad imo. Git gud. I know I’m going to get hate for saying that but oh well.
"Where are my allies?" If you are asking this question while or after dealing with a pack of ragers/crushers/stuff, what you have are speedrunners, not allies.

That's why I call the devs lazy; a whole load of features that they knew worked in the last game, tried and tested, and they simply couldn't be bothered to transfer them over - too busy re-colouring items for the in-game cosmetic store....
As a console player i really want a scoreboard. Like you said, it helps me to improve. Also the option to sprint without holding a button would be great, but I doubt that will happen
that isn't QoL thats cheating. Yes its an option that would be nice to have for people who don't have the time to search maps for stuff but thats not something we should ever expect the developer to provide.
I’ve said it many times to this brick wall, I will say it once more. Implement the gyroscopic motion sensor function on console. This allows players to easily aim ranged weapons/blitzes with target tracking/acquisition similar to a mouse. Please and thank you for the time, and have a happy new year.
Having played the game for 1900 hours, farmed auric since it came out, beaten h40 multiple times... Not Once have I ever needed to know exactly how many bullets or points of HP/T my teammates have. Nor do I need to see their steam username (clutter) or true level (it's easy to see how good a player is by how they play). But that's just my silly personal opinion. I think you make good arguments, and most of this information should be optional in the base game for those who want it. Same with the scoreboard. But I have to draw a line at health bars. I have a problem with the slippery slope of cheating in this game. So many mods that seem like QOL, are giving players information they're supposed to either look for or remember. That's part of the challenge. Health bars mean I don't have to keep track of which enemies have been hit by something. It's also a soft-wallhack when enemies are hit by AoE effects. Collectible finder means I don't have to risk exploring the map looking for items that may not exist. Spawn feed, spider sense, dog pounce/crusher overhead warnings, AoE markers on the ground, the list goes on. Every mod removes a part of the challenge. If every mod is a small amount of cheat, then where do you draw the line? Aimbot? This is the problem with Fatshark being lazy and outsourcing QOL to modders. We end up with cheat creep.
I agree. I’m a light modder for this game. It’s funny because if you let modders have their way they’ll destroy the artistic design and just make the game easier for them when the design was made to be a challenge.
This video is fantastic. This helps us new PC players SO MUCH to learn not only what mods are available, but HOW they work. I cannot thank you enough for this!!!
A man of the people! Thank you Mr. E!! Also, it’s humorous that in Vermintide 2 you could only access the scoreboard after the mission… now it’s up to modders and you’re allowed to access it mid-mission. Perhaps the best way to “lower toxicity” was to just include the damn scoreboard haha
Heya, I love your UI and it would really help if you shared. I'm not regular daily player and never got to modding UI properly, but I know it could help me a lot
I feel like controller and keyboard and mouse is already a big gap in skills by default But add to that mods that, don’t make you win, but removes the brain fog of war you have on console is indeed unfair
Scoreboard is the tricky one, because it often leads to competetive mindset in co-op game. Goal of the mission becomes being the star instead of successful completion. I guess that's the reason why FS didn't implemented it straight away. On the other hand, it's not the fault of scoreboard existing but rather player's mentality.
Oh man I would LOVE to see a video on your hud, and anything else you think its good info for mods in general. I just discovered mods yesterday and I'm feeling a little overwhelmed by just how much customization is available because I've only been playing for a week so I don't know what buffs ect are important yet and stuff like that.
Display health/toughness however you want. The more things are near your crosshair, the less effort/distance your eyes will need to check them. Other must have in your vision are stamina (good by default), dodge count (VERY important), ult cooldown and grenade amount/ammo. Having your buff list more centered can also help awareness for buffs/stacks (precog/piety...) Of course, don't clutter things too much, you also want to see enemies (so too much on the sides of your crosshair is a no-no, unless you make it small)
Most are not necessary. True Level is good to know how advanced players are. Creature Spawner is 100% necessary for practice. That helped so much. Scoreboard is also important for self improvement but don’t get too crazy if you’re not leading the Offense score all the time. As long as you’re not dropping all the time it’s all good.
No dodge jump should be in the base game for those who don’t want to rebind jump or can’t as they are on console. True level and score board would be great. As would seeing a count down on your ability timer. Now there is a whole bunch of stuff which is cheating to some extent. When you stack it together you get a huge advantage and fat shark should try and cut this down a bit. Spyder sense for continuously tracking all specials. ( just use cackling trapper to avoid silent trappers). The mod which says when crushers / trappers/ dogs attack with on screen notification. Health bars Explosion radius and hi- lighting all pox busters Scopes Hi-lighting all mini games. All the above adds a major advantage over the base game.
Fatshark and Modding is a messed up history. Remember Sanction Mods for Vermintide 2? Fatshark forgot. I’m guessing that’s why we don’t have it for Darktide cause they’d be called out for.
@@J.B.1982 Utter nonsense, since most of it consists of literally parts from the weapons already in the game, plus the ability to put the sights on weapons that actually can benefit from them. Taking out the customisation options was done to push the "micro"transaction apparel store and because the dev team are LAZY.
@@Mr.Hun13r I’m basing this on some gun customization I’ve seen that looks cursed. Adding sights is not what I’m talking about. I’m also basing this on what I know about Games Workshop.
Thank you for making this video as a ps5 player I feel like so much is lacking in this game from the ui I’ve seen videos of people playing on pc and wish I had all these different things just add them to the options so we can disable or enable them. Also you sir have a new sub I like your content.
Been playing without mods since the havoc update cause I'm too lazy to update them. Obviously QOL mods are nice but aren't necessary on pc. From what I heard console definitely needs all the help they can get though
Disagree with the importance of true level; unless you are on Havoc 30+ and plan to drop anyone without 100 levels, its kind of elitist. The rest I totally agree with and hope FS adds them soon! Thanks for the content Mr. E :)
It helps you figure out who might need more support and who doesn't; Who can you trust to be going off on their own a little, etc. etc. It's just info on how experienced someone is and what you do with that info says a lot about you.
The biggest mod for me is numeric UI and ESPECIALLY collectible finder. As a newer player who doesnt have the experience nor the will to remember every single spot these things can be found just getting that "Theres a grimore nearby" and the icon glowing harder when you are close is so good. These are basically optional hard modes for the team they shouldnt be this impossible to gather or collect when being spammed with hordes
Then they might as well remove the game from Console sales . 99% Of players I encounter on auric are Pc , no Console players are playing above a certain difficulty makes it unplayable in that case
Mods never nessecary, only nice to have. But if you need all kind of mods to clear games, then its a lack of skill... skill issues.. and the game is not for you. Some mods look good, but its not nessecary but that is my opinion. Your video is nice and good explained
ive been playing on console pretty religiously since it dropped bc i dont rly have a good computer that can run it. i wanna love it so bad man. so bad.
I know with mods in games makes -most- games easier to play, but for the most part I always avoid modding my games(even though I'm on PC). This is a game I started playing and fell in LOVE with it. There were some things at about the 200 hour mark that made me think "huh... This should be a feature". At about the 200 hour mark in Darktide I started to watch content just to see everyone has it modded with the things I said which are covered in this video. Its good to see that people are actually saying it instead of holding it in like I normally do. TLDR: Thank you for your work sir! I agree with you on this. o7
If you haven't already you can try some or all of the following: Turn off all raytracing, including turning off portrait generation, unless you got a 4090 graphics card which can actually benefit from raytracing. Set Thread count to max for the i7 core and if you're playing with an i5 perhaps this is part of the problem but try setting threads to 6 or so. Restart computer, restart game, check performance. Adjust thread count up or down a little to see if it improves or performance drops off. If you run 16 GB RAM memory, try closíng down all background non-essential programs before you start the game (or get more RAM...) Is it still bad latency? Turn off V-sync Lower general graphics settings to medium but compensate by increasing sharpness to 70-80%. It won't look as good but it's still playable. Check your internet connection speed, you may need to pay extra for a higher bandwidth Hope that helps

Random disconnects are on your side, it's not something they can fix. Except maybe creatimg a whole new server in your region if localization is the issue... But that's some violent copium
I use them but I fully understand for many players it might cheapen the gameplay experience. personally i use anything that is legal to help me perform my best- I come from an mmo background and using addons and macros is pretty standard practice there
Poor console players. Really missing out on constant re-verification of game-files and playing super-sleuth to detect which mod is causing the game to fail to launch today.
Its even worst that we can't use those QoL UE mods when there is crossplay and what is pissing me as well is that I can't map controller, I can only use some stupid preset configs or I didn't find it and I'm stupid...
One of the mods I've seen that bugged me, thinking it was damn near cheating, was the "Spidy Sense" mod, until I started playing at higher difficulties and learned that a bunch of the audio is bugged. So many times that i got hit by a Pox Burster that i never got an audio cue for because of it being overridden by another audio cue. Or a pack of Maulers sneaking up on me for the same reason.
Can you add your UI to the description so we can download it and use it, please? I gotta work and take care of my kids. I can't mess around with it as much as I'd like too. If you can let us download yours, I will worship nurgle everyday and beg him to bless you!
Another huge one you didnt mention is modded sights for weapons, being an xbox player some weapon sights just straight up suck and are only good for single shots
I left it out because i know Fatshark can’t implement it. It has to do with games workshop not allowing modifications to their weapons because “lore” or some shit.
@@MisterEtide Yet the las pistols and guns get holo sights, while the game's DMRs get some of the sh*tiest iron sights in the game... They're talking out of their backside; it's laziness and the desire to push the paid-for apparel store.
It's even funnier when you realize that some sights are bugged on console. Like the Infantry lasgun doesn't even hit where the red dot is set to. Absolutely ridiculous
I personally use "Show Remaining Dodges" over NumericUIs dodge counter, its just nicer presented imo but does the same thing (might have seen it in some videos its a yellow "stamina" bar) but otherwhise i agree there is a lot of info missing from the game without these mods. Also another mod (that Obese Megalodon probably doesn't like) i highly recommend is "Real Prices", does what it says on the tin, just shows the real currency prices for the premium cosmetics (with localized conversion wich is handy)
I agree, as someone who posts occasional videos i tend i find to restrict myself when i post videos purely to make it more relatable , the QoL is definitely noticeable
honestly the only thing i've modded into the game that i think should be a base game feature is just the dodge counter. maybe some ability to move UI elements around to see buffs easier but aside from that i really don't understand how other players can play their game so heavily modded, especially things like the audio warning mod. i personally don't think scoreboard should be base game even if i myself use it
Mods are mostly made by normal people at home on their PC. Since the coding is different on consoles it isn’t very easy to push it to them. They probably don’t want to put in that much work. I do wish you could customize the hud placement though. The descriptions of armor covers the clothing you are looking at, or the mission progress is dead center in the screen when trying to aim.
Still boggles my mind that they haven't at the bare minimum added numbers, percentages or some type of numerical indicators for the team UI in regards to HP, Toughness, Ammo etc. Having access to that kind of information allows people to make better informed decisions, especially when things get hectic and you need take actions on the fly. Even Deep Rock Galactic's base game hud does a better job than Darktide at showcasing the entire team's ammo supply with the 4 bars under everyone's HP
If only fatshark could implement these things officially or add plug-in support, the only thing we console players would need to worry about is pulling those insane movements pc players get to do along with laser focus for getting headshots, that and being able to use throwing knifes with zealot
It's insane how developers will sacrifice my ability to make decisions and simply know what the fuck is happening because "muh vision for da game" or whatever. This is not a cinematic game, Auric+ is video game crack, I am doing 800 things a minute I need instant, concise information about what state my team is in so I can move to aid them or make them aware of items and ammo, if somehow I were unable to mod DT anymore I wouldn't be playing it, frankly.
playing with mods lets you imporve at the game so much more, being able to start monstrous duos through mmt and being able to solo missions with the solo play mod. The game feels way too easy without mods
15:49 this Scoreboard or not, assholes are gonna be everywhere, they dont need a scoreboard to be an asshole. Personally ive never heard people trash talk for low stats on the SB. in fact I've only heard players praise others that did well in game. the only assholes you really run into are the people that run auric maelstroms all day and shit talk newbies when they make simple mistakes that don't really matter. you know the type. the dudes that are like "you didn't beat Bloodbourne while your nuts were being tased, and your creepy uncle gives you an oddly sensual backrub? Trash, you don't even deserve the air you breathe. in fact go see what it smells like underwater." and tbh even if you do make a mistake that throws the game it'll be okay. just don't die of cringe and leave the game early out of embarrassment. THAT is my pet peeve.
PC players have been unintentionally encouraging bad developers for ages now. You keep doing the work for them, not raising enough hell when they get lazy. I got friends who want to me join the master race; just to rebuy games and go through the trouble of modding the hell out of them. Great video.
True Level and a good thorough scoreboard are important, also Creature Spawner. Beyond that it’s very questionable and understandable why they don’t have the other features implemented. As a big time modder myself, if you let modders have their way, a lot of the time you’ll get an erosion of artistic design for the sake of end game min/max meta gaming, which I personally don’t like. You’re not suppose to know exactly how much cooldown is left or how much health enemies have. That’s the point.
Qol mods would be nice if the could be added to the base game for console, if the game was actually stable that is. I swear i cant even go a game without crashes. Atleast for me medicare priority is whoever has the least wounds left and i use a boltgun so i only take as much ammo as i need so for me the numeric ui and such is a nice addition but i couldnt care for not having it. Elite healthbars would be nice specifically for the armored ones/ crushers, bulwarks, maulers ect. But then again if im surrounded by hordes and a pack of maulers or something those healthbars likely would be in the way. However one thing id like was something i saw from another game being custom messages. So i could send "dont worry about me" or something like "i am a zealot and i do run off" rather than having to spend like a minute typing it out. Which if i was dead sure id have the time to type. But its rare for that to happen. Though some people would likely use that system to be trolls. (Or everyone could use a mic, apart from some dont have one and others dont like to talk)
Maybe let you compare yourself to the average of the other players. So you know how you are doing relatively without being able to target someone for being "bad"
If people want to be pearl-clutchers about "toxicity" in the game, then simply show the scoreboard *AFTER* the round. People can tell when you've been a handicap during a game anyway and are likely to treat you the same way regardless, so it's not a valid reason to deny players from seeing the stats by which they can see their performance and learn where they're doing well or not.
I don't think Numeric UI is all that great, because it polutes UI with details, that won't have impact on your decision making anyway. When it comes to cooldowns, you have no say how team mates are going to use their abilities and can't rely on that. Unless you communicate with them in which case you don't need UI anyway. Also why you should pay attention to how abilities are used in UI instead of in the game? I mean you don't need to pay attention to UI to coordinate shouts or boubbles or so. Saying that, I wouldn't mind having an optional choices to display more information, but I personally would consider it rather low priority.
Darktide players: I NEED mods because I heard that sometimes the audio for a trapper doesn't play and I swear that's the only reason I ever get hit. Being able to see medikits in unopened crates 100m away is just a necessary evil. *Gets hit by the Trapper anyways. Quits.*
Some areas of certain maps don't even have fixed audio yet lol look at oubliette. The catwalk right before medicae 2 (I believe it's mk2) has a dead zone for audio that's notoriously common, right when you enter the catwalk area
Yesterday, I died twice from completely silent trappers. Modders fix shit that fatshark breaks. Cackling trapper is a mod that just makes trappers laugh a lot more so they don't become stealth gods sometimes.
Cackling trapper is great. Spyder sense is straight up cheating though. Continuously tracking all specials even through walls is more like executioners stance. Though as far shark don’t care it’s self policing.
@@andyozFace I considered installing spidey sense because trappers aren't the only silent enemies. I've had crushers spawn behind me and overhead me with ZERO SOUND. Dogs jumping and snipers shooting with no sound too.
The True Level thing hit home. I started darktide about a month ago and got Ogryn and Psyker just to 30. i stopped playing because there is no reward anymore in grindig and playing. sure you can "git gud" or something but im not into that stuff alone. HAVOC missions isnt rewarding since you dont get stuff out of it (diamantine...) other than the havoc level (havent recieved a chest yet and dont know if its even worth the grind) and playing auric missions is just fun and all but since you can play like 5 missions in the same map, it looses tension because its just to repetetive.
You really don’t start learning the game till you get all the classes to 30. If you’re playing Auric at this point I’m assuming you are constantly dropping and you should not be playing those difficulties.
i still dont see why modern UI developers REFUSE to show the player their team's info in the hud like numeric UI does, this shit should've been base game since Vermintide 1 and this happens with every Co-Op game even in goddamn DRG

True Story, playing with mods is a skill issue, some are nice to have but never nessecary. If you need mods to clear any game any Mode then the game is nothing for you. And this goes for any game.
Having only 4 loadout slots at base is also just wild
The reason isL you were dumb enough to buy a modern console.
Yes but console overlords want to sell you the solution to your problems.
console is hard mode with lagging, no dodge counter, no health bars
You can swap dodge button to LB.
All i want is to be able to customize my button layout.
Psych Ward! Stop making people load into the mourningstar to do anything!
also the buttons to use the vendors without having to physically move around the mourningstar, even without psych ward!
the diagetic in-world ui is cool sure, but it wastes SO MUCH time in so many different ways.
Superfluous hub areas might be one of my most hated trends in modern games.
BUT NOOOOO , Scoreboards are so toxic and you snowflakes won't be able to handle seeing basic stats......is what Fatshark probably thinks about this
Personally I don’t run any mods. I understand the use of some quality of life mods like the scoreboard and being able rearrange the UI but these mods that hold your hand like telling you when there is loot nearby and the auto complete minigame mods. Those are just sad imo. Git gud. I know I’m going to get hate for saying that but oh well.
"Where are my allies?"
If you are asking this question while or after dealing with a pack of ragers/crushers/stuff, what you have are speedrunners, not allies.
11:30 you will never get there..... not until 3k true level
Only thing you have 3k levels in is vrchat gooning
This is done for economic reasons. You can outsource labor to the free market. It promotes engagement with the community by getting the modders to generate material for users without having to assign development staff. As for gaining rights to the mod and officially implementing them -- that is another no. Still easier to let the mod community do the work/updates for free.
You could list 100 other reasons why, but it's just easier to let the mod community handle QOL improvements and remain focused on the core content.
It amazes me how many features there are that were in vermintide 2 but absent in darktide
That's why I call the devs lazy; a whole load of features that they knew worked in the last game, tried and tested, and they simply couldn't be bothered to transfer them over - too busy re-colouring items for the in-game cosmetic store....
Its really sad that it takes third party modders to make the game better instead of the actual game developers that gets fucking paid for it.
As a console player i really want a scoreboard. Like you said, it helps me to improve.
Also the option to sprint without holding a button would be great, but I doubt that will happen
Also being able to know when collectibles are nearby is such a crazy advantage too
Advantage to who? It's team based, no?
that isn't QoL thats cheating.
Missed the most important one. Shirtless as an actual cosmetic. Fatshark missed something special with that one and I still hope they'd bring it back.
The Rimworld soundtrack alone in the back gets a like.
I feel like controller and keyboard and mouse is already a big gap in skills by default
But add to that mods that, don’t make you win, but removes the brain fog of war you have on console is indeed unfair
UI setup video? Yes please!
That’s why all co-op games need a proper scoreboard that tracks team dynamics as well. This will promote better teamwork.
Option to turn scoreboard off or on... my god
There is a mod that lets you know the highlighted symbols in the cipher ident minigames. So yeah mods are unfair.
Having your buff list more centered can also help awareness for buffs/stacks (precog/piety...)
Of course, don't clutter things too much, you also want to see enemies (so too much on the sides of your crosshair is a no-no, unless you make it small)
@@ipatchymakouli415 I appreciate this, thank you!
Laughs in vanilla steam deck 30 fps 720p mini heater
It's funny that most of what was mentioned was in VT2.
Isnt missing stuff and terrible controls the basic premise of console gaming, known in the moment of purchase?
No dodge jump should be in the base game for those who don’t want to rebind jump or can’t as they are on console.
True level and score board would be great. As would seeing a count down on your ability timer.
Now there is a whole bunch of stuff which is cheating to some extent. When you stack it together you get a huge advantage and fat shark should try and cut this down a bit.
Spyder sense for continuously tracking all specials. ( just use cackling trapper to avoid silent trappers).
The mod which says when crushers / trappers/ dogs attack with on screen notification.
Health bars
Explosion radius and hi- lighting all pox busters
Scopes
Hi-lighting all mini games.
All the above adds a major advantage over the base game.
Fatshark and Modding is a messed up history. Remember Sanction Mods for Vermintide 2? Fatshark forgot. I’m guessing that’s why we don’t have it for Darktide cause they’d be called out for.
Still mad that we dont have weapons customization. But its ok theres a mod for that.
It’s for lore purposes. Games Workshop keeps it tight and I 100% agree.
@@J.B.1982 Utter nonsense, since most of it consists of literally parts from the weapons already in the game, plus the ability to put the sights on weapons that actually can benefit from them.
That’s the point. It’s suppose to be hard.
Great stuff, any chance of releasing a list of all the things you use? I've got about a 140 hours in DT and I'm starting to feel the limitations.
the solution is to let pc players turn off crossplay
Then they might as well remove the game from Console sales . 99% Of players I encounter on auric are Pc , no Console players are playing above a certain difficulty makes it unplayable in that case
Mods never nessecary, only nice to have.
But if you need all kind of mods to clear games, then its a lack of skill... skill issues.. and the game is not for you.
Some mods look good, but its not nessecary but that is my opinion.

ive been playing on console pretty religiously since it dropped bc i dont rly have a good computer that can run it. i wanna love it so bad man.
I agree with you on this. o7
Isn't remove red marker skull already a setting in Numeric UI mod?
That would be funny if i have two mods to do that one thing
Wish there was something to fix the goddamn latency
If you haven't already you can try some or all of the following:
Turn off all raytracing, including turning off portrait generation, unless you got a 4090 graphics card which can actually benefit from raytracing.
Set Thread count to max for the i7 core and if you're playing with an i5 perhaps this is part of the problem but try setting threads to 6 or so. Restart computer, restart game, check performance. Adjust thread count up or down a little to see if it improves or performance drops off.
If you run 16 GB RAM memory, try closíng down all background non-essential programs before you start the game (or get more RAM...)
Is it still bad latency?
Turn off V-sync
Lower general graphics settings to medium but compensate by increasing sharpness to 70-80%. It won't look as good but it's still playable.
Check your internet connection speed, you may need to pay extra for a higher bandwidth
Hope that helps

One of the mods I've seen that bugged me, thinking it was damn near cheating, was the "Spidy Sense" mod, until I started playing at higher difficulties and learned that a bunch of the audio is bugged. So many times that i got hit by a Pox Burster that i never got an audio cue for because of it being overridden by another audio cue. Or a pack of Maulers sneaking up on me for the same reason.

Another huge one you didnt mention is modded sights for weapons, being an xbox player some weapon sights just straight up suck and are only good for single shots
I left it out because i know Fatshark can’t implement it. It has to do with games workshop not allowing modifications to their weapons because “lore” or some shit.

Things didn’t change ( -_-)
honestly the only thing i've modded into the game that i think should be a base game feature is just the dodge counter. maybe some ability to move UI elements around to see buffs easier but aside from that i really don't understand how other players can play their game so heavily modded, especially things like the audio warning mod. i personally don't think scoreboard should be base game even if i myself use it
which mod lets you see your teammates cooldowns?
Numeric ui
Thanks to you I got to mod my game.
But numeric UI doesn't working :(
I recorded that yesterday so something must need updating on your end! :)

Scoreboard or not, assholes are gonna be everywhere, they dont need a scoreboard to be an asshole.
Trash, you don't even deserve the air you breathe. in fact go see what it smells like underwater."
and tbh even if you do make a mistake that throws the game it'll be okay. just don't die of cringe and leave the game early out of embarrassment.
Needs official realm to put players on the same field. Custom realm for modded experiences which provides potential advantages.
(Or everyone could use a mic, apart from some dont have one and others dont like to talk)
i can imagine when fatshark adds a scoreboard, they just let you see your own stats. tbh i would prefer that over a lobby wide scoreboard
I’d be fine with either of them, I just don’t like being left wondering if I performed well or poorly at the end of each mission.
I love weapon customization mod. Makes so many unplayable guns useful

F in the chat for the console homies having to deal with invitations still popping up mid-mission in Havoc.
I don't intend to be a pc elitist but at this point IT IS JUST BETTER, half the time it's cheaper too
Over the long term it is pretty much *always* cheaper. Console vs PC is like cartridge razor vs DE safety razor - if you know, you know.
