- On March, 15th 1986 a charity show called "Heartbeat" was organized by Bev Bevan to raise money especially for the Children's Hospital in Birmingham. This sold-out show was to become one of the most successful and spectacular events in British rock music history, featuring big names such as The Moody Blues, Robert Plant, UB40, the Roy Wood Band and, of course, the Electric Light Orchestra. I created a stereo remaster of the original mono audio from my VHS recording of this concert. Hope you enjoy this version!
Performed By: Jeff Lynne (vocals, guitar), Bev Bevan (drums), Richard Tandy (keyboards), Mik Kaminski (violin), Louis Clark (orchestral keyboards), Dave Morgan (guitar, keyboards, backing vocals), Martin Smith (bass, backing vocals)

Love there music ELO
The best songwritter the world has ever known
You're right, Jeff Lynne is the best ever
Jeff's voice is so amazing!!!
His voice is unlike any other voice. No one can compare to Jeff Lynne.
Wow
Jeff is without question one of THE most outstanding songwriters of all time. It is hard to believe one man alone could create so many utterly amazing compositions. If anyone has been able to channel the gods for us all, it is Jeff Lynne. Thank you, Jeff, you are truly a musical genius.
Brilliantly put. I could not agree more. What a gift Jeff Lynne is to mankind because music does so much more than entertain - it heals the sick, comforts the sad and lonely and research shows it bolsters the immune system and is one of the few things that can reach the damaged brain of those afflicted with alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia. Rock on Jeff Lynne!
Truly, a musical Genius !❤
He’s up there in ranking with the beatles in my opinion. Sheer genius.
ELO forever...

As long as you get the 2nd version. The first had Mass Backing Tracks inserted that weren’t on the Tour performances. Jeff fixed most of it on the reissue

The perfect song for online learning when the teacher has nobody show up to the video chat
long live jeff lynne...
Ingo Postler AMEN!
Forever and ever..
Thanks movejefflynne. One of my all-time favorites...ELO is cool. Appreciate your share. Best Regards.
@Queenfan778 The song in the intro of this video is the end of "Standing in the Rain" just before the start of the next song "Big Wheels" on the album "Out of the Blue", 1978... ELO (actually Jeff Lynne)'s masterpiece!!!!
Thanks for sharing ! By the way Jeff Lynne is one of the super stars who never made a Christmas song. Or should I say : A Christmas ELO album. I think It would have been fantastic knowing the imagination of ELO music. The perfect timing for releasing it would have been November in 1978.
He co-produced Christmas All Over Again with Tom Petty.
Roy Wood on the other hand made a Christmas song, for which he is more famous, than for any other song on his career.
My English teacher selected this song in class.
Is the entire concert available for sale or download anywhere. I would kill for a copy!
❤❤❤❤😘😎❤
@thenameiwantwastaken So far this hasn't been made available for sale. Hopefully
some day it will be sold!
Thanks.
Burn it on a dvd please
What is the intro music from?
That music is the beginning of the song "Big Wheels" from the "Out of the Blue" album which follows the song "Standin' in the Rain".
Great follower...
This is probably the worst performance of Telephone line it’s lacking strings and the drums are a bit to heavy
It’s lacking Kelly
@@cbennett196631 Couldn't agree more. Kelly was the perfect Robin to Jeff's Batman. He brought so much to ELO. RIP Kelly.
Jeff sung it the best on this version. Probably because George Harrison was watching ;)
