- In this video I attempt to review a 530bhp, Stage 3 APR tuned Golf R and to try and add a slightly different take to it, ask the question "is it too much for the road?". If I lose my trail of thought whilst talking in this video, I am sorry, it's all a bit quick.

I have a 2016 Golf R stage 1 APR and that’s plenty to have a blast in nice video 🤙
I saw a golf R go ripping by me the other day like crazy fast. It must’ve been tuned I could barely even believe how quick it went by me

Great review. I've got one of these and really I can only appreciate what it can do on the track or when rallying. Same mods - fuel / air / brakes / suspension / wheels / exhaust / turbo / downpipe. BEAUTIFUL CAR. Next project - Polo GTI 6 speed.

Great video but I couldn't disagree more, having had both a 300bhp and a 508bhp Golf R lol. IMO you don't have to be able to find the limit, in order to have more fun on the way. and one can do a launch anytime anywhere basiclly. You can't tell us the fun is equal between a 300 and a 500 hp launch, can you?

I just want a GTI so I can modify and enjoy.
GTI would probably be my preferred choice over the R for driving enjoyment 🙂
