Big props to sticking to your guns (Pun intended) with the general design direction of the pack. Fallout 4 was really lacking in mods that aesthetically mesh well with the art direction Bethesda chose for the game up until recently. ( Don't get me wrong though that Assault Rifle design is the stuff of nightmares ) I'm stoked to add this to my mod-list in the future!
That compact laser sight fits the aesthetic of the 10 mill so well, it's nice to see custom sights that are specifically designed for certain weapons. Especially those spinning laser sights...
The stocked revolver looks good. Very close to what a realistic stocked revolving carbine would look like. I'd suggest if possible and if it's easy/feasible to add protective metal wings on the sides of the cylinder, if your arm was out forward on the hand guard without them, you'd get seriously hurt from the escaping gas, particularly on a .45-70. There's a company called Fairfax Firearms that does a lot of stocked revolver conversions that may be worth looking at for inspiration. But despite that minor thing it looks wonderful, really like the 10mm pistol stuff too.
@@Terminator850 Not exactly how revolvers work. The only way to prevent it aside from the above mentioned protective measures would be a full gas seal like an M1895 Nagant Revolver, which would be a cool addition to Fallout 4 but it also means it can be suppressed without unconventional methods like some of the previous suppressed revolver mods.
I agree with you Chris. I just want to add a repeat of my Handmade Rifle ideas. Put caliber rechambers into the receiver category (.38, 5.56, and .308). Two extra barrels, one to help further make the Handmade Rifle look like the Chinese Assault Rifle, and the other barrel to make a Draganov like sniper conversion.
Dak you're knocking this out of the park man. Saying somewhat loyal to the design language/artistic style of the base weapons is smart and you let yourself have enough wiggle room to be really creative. Pig and yourself must be proud of how this is turning out... as you should be.
I like how you've designed the 10mm to resemble the Colt from Fo1/Fo2. I find myself appreciative of the old guns from past games a lot more than all the CoD imports. Also, love your handmade lever action. Looks like how guns assembled from scraps should have looked in Fo4. 👌

Y'know, bring back the classic Fallout weaponry instead of making shit that just looks cursed. The FO3 R91 Assault Rifle, WW2 guns, L85, M4 and M16, AK74, G11, 10mm SMG, etc. All the shit seen in FO1, 2, Tactics, 3 and New Vegas need to come back in a modern Fallout game.
@@TheAkrillion Fuck man, you don't even need exclusively real world guns, just firearms that clearly make sense and aren't steampunk hodgepodges of different guns. Look at the 14mm pistol and the hunting rifle from the OGs, clearly drawing from modern firearms while still being unique and futuristic. Another great example of this concept is the fan made Range Rifle mod by jkruse, very clearly pulling from the real world and Fallout to make something new, yet coherent.
I can't wait for this release. It will be the final stone in my "Fallout 4.5" modlist built around lore friendly, well balanced weapons, SS2, MAIM, Scourg and Fallout 2287. Btw all your other mods are already in my loadorder and are all amaizing ❤️❤️❤️
Damn, man, this mod's got me tempted to remove all the replacer mods I've been using. The stuff you're doing with the HMAR, 10mm and .44 in particular is just so good. Particularly loving the callbacks to the 6520. It's nice to kind of tie the games together a bit, without just completely replacing what Fo4 gave us. Excellent work. Super stoked for this!
I really love what you did the the revolver. Reminds me of the Metro franchise one where it can be upgraded to the point of turning it into a long rage mini sniper weapon. And that rechamber for the 10 mm pistol into a 44 magnum is cool as hell. I mean that gun is way to fuc*ing big to the point it doesn't look out of 0lace seen a pistol using revolver ammo. For example the Desert Eagle.
I love it! I only have two additional attachment suggestions: a "sniper" 10mm stock that improves aim down scope, and a 5mm full-auto rechamber for the combat rifle. Bonus points for making some service rifle furniture for the combat rifle as well. (Though all that said, I wouldn't mind seeing some upgrades for the minigun to make it more viable mid to late game, like one would have expected Bethesda to include. Maybe including armor piercing. Because, you know, minigun go brrrrrrrrrr.)

I happened upon your channel when you were just starting to toy around with the harpoon launcher, and it's great to see how far things have come. Keep at it man.

Honestly, I love the chunkier vision of the classic square 10mm (with long barrel). Also, absolutely adore the CE Magnum vibes you guys gave it with the laser and the handguard
You know, I would really like to see someone create a two-handed animation for the 10mm Pistol where your character actually uses that foregrip on the Long Barrel. Combine with a Carbine Stock and a Drum Magazine to create a 10mm Carbine. That'd be awesome.

I absolutely love the idea of the junk part mods. that way you're not just jumping straight from pipe weapons to pristine prewar antique guns. I think it'll do a great job to make the world feel more lived in, so I'm going to be grabbing this the moment it comes out!
that minigun proof of concept laser sight should really be an unique modification, like hide it in an armory somewhere and call it the prototype lasers
I've discovered a miracle. A mod that adds 10mm Pistols that don't look big enough to be firing .50 BMG rounds. 😂 The mod is "Player Home RVs of the Commonwealth" if anyone is interested.
Looks great! One thing, you probably already noticed this but the magnum receiver pushes up some parts of the gun ever so slightly. It's very little and probably not noticeable in in most circumstances but it does make some parts misaligned.
Looks great. I was really looking forward to a rifle/smg style stock for the 10mm to balance out the size of it. Everything else looks awesome. Really liking what your doing with the handmade rifle and revolvers!
It's nice to see mods like this since most Mods that add entirely new weapons have implementation problems especially craft-able ones. Adding more mods that change how weapons work with proper balancing and perk requirements is definitely the better option. Look forward to this. Man, you have no idea how many custom ESPs I had to make in FO4Edit just to make weapons implement into my game without feeling like "Mods". Now I just gotta learn how to make MCMs since so many of my fav mods still use config tapes...
One thing that I was always confused about was why no one tried to use the minigun animations to create a heavy machine gun. With the barrel up closer to your chest, rather than down low.
I like your take on the 10mm, I definitely agree that it should be more like a "handcannon" or a big, strong pistol. I tend to build my 10mm parts to be this game's equivalent to a desert eagle. Good work!

If it does end up being in the junk pack I think it'd be cool to have one or two be another colour, because it might be hard to get that many identical laser sights. Also as always I love the bayonets and other attachments made for beating people to death with your gun in your mods.
i always thought the 10mm was big, stupid and its chunky as all hell but its kinda cute in that way. the new attachments keep that charming obtuse-ness to it which i really appreciate
These are so neat! I like the idea of the 10mm handgun being a dedicated power armor sidearm (for when you're out of minigun/flamer ammo obviously), and the 10mm is nice and bulky enough for that, but it sadly lacked damage to do pretty much anything in hard difficulty above lvl... like, 3. Any chance among those attachments you'll find the time to do some retextures? Simple blackmetal or polished steel? The standard texture pretty much works for the BoS power armor colors, but for literally nothing else. Would be nice to be able to polish/paint it.
I always keep it as a side arm for all that 10mm ammo around, I appreciate you trying to make it more viable, challenge mode, make a tiny minigun addition to it lmao
With the mods I've got, and that I embody the Gun Nut Perk irl, I love these mod packs. It's Fallout, goofy and silly weapons alongside realistic weapons are it's bread and butter and Bethesda dropped the ball when making 4
I hope that when you find a way to make the mod work with a resize, you could also get it to work with JackRob's 10mm remesh if that'd be necessary. It's a relatively unknown mod, but it makes the base pistol look more like the previous iterations and removes that whacked out slanted front that ruins the look of every barrel modification that isn't the long light. Also, just a personal nitpick: the standard and comfort grips should really be switched around, as the standard looks like the actually comfortable grip, and the comfort grip looks like a piece of rough worn wood and not at all comfortable.
Put on that Comfort Barrel or extended barrel, some kind of muzzle attachment, an extended mag, and the pistol grip stock and you've got yourself one hell of a machine pistol
Awesome video but I feel like you can't tell us a bombshell like 'the 10mm pistol is green we just can't tell' like it wouldn't completely change how some of us look at the 10mm pistol.
it'd be nice if the top laser sight attachment made you aim the 10mm in an angle like smart pistol aiming from cyberpunk 2077. But it looks awesome! Will be using this on my next playthrough.
I hope that the revolver foregrip will change the animations similar to how the pipe revolver's work. I've seen a few mods that add a stock and foregrip attachment, but they don't have any animations so it just looks super goofy when you hold it.

Personally never liked the modern weapons mostly they break the art direction for Fallout especially when they appear clean.

The 10mm is already hilariously oversized. Putting some of these mods on it make it look like a metal suitcase with a grip.

One thing I imagine would mesh well for the 10mm would be an integral suppressor barrel; the size of the thing would lend quite well to it I imagine.

A sword that has a gun as a hilt, like the lightsaber from star wars rebels
In a perfect world the 10mm would be smaller and use deliverer animations so we could replace them (wonderful work dak as always these look amazing)
Also bonus points for modeling the hammer spring inside the revolver

Put on that Comfort Barrel or extended barrel, some kind of muzzle attachment, an extended mag, and the pistol grip stock and you've got yourself one hell of a machine pistol
Awesome video but I feel like you can't tell us a bombshell like 'the 10mm pistol is green we just can't tell' like it wouldn't completely change how some of us look at the 10mm pistol.
Not sure if it'd be too much work at this point but a full wooden stock for the 10mm would look really good!
If you put the Minigun laser sights on an outomatic laser rifle barrel, you have effectly created the Pulse rifle from Dead Space!

it'd be nice if the top laser sight attachment made you aim the 10mm in an angle like smart pistol aiming from cyberpunk 2077. But it looks awesome! Will be using this on my next playthrough.

This looks amazing, cant wait until its finished and I can realize I dont have enough room in my load order to use it.
I hope that the revolver foregrip will change the animations similar to how the pipe revolver's work. I've seen a few mods that add a stock and foregrip attachment, but they don't have any animations so it just looks super goofy when you hold it.
