Hello Valerii I congratulate you on your great climb of the Matterhorn. Thank you for the wonderful film from my home in Valais. I wish you good mountain tours. With alpine greetings Raphael Wellig
Grat achievement man !💪Early 90s i hiked from the Zermatt youth hostel up to Hörnlihütte. I was 15 years old and thought 1 can of coke will be enough for me to drink until i arrive there....🥵 still made it but it was torture!
This is absolutely beautiful to watch! I did breithorn this summer and eventually my goal will be to do matterhorn some day. Thanks for amazing video buddy! ❤

I wouldn't trust any of those rocks he's holding onto in multiple places for one second =))! OMG the summit is so dodgy as well :S!!! Not sure if it's the lens he's filming with but the summit is gnarly af and seems like one small misstep can result in a very quick plunge :(...
Awesome ascent! Congratulations! Which exact date was it? We had very snowy conditions on the 7th of September... How long was the descent? And what was the times on Hornli hut up and down? Thank you!
I admit, I tried this once :). In 2021 I took the last train from Randa, I think, arrived after midnight to Zermatt. I walked past bars and partying people in Zermatt, and started walking in the dark. I got up to Schwazsee maybe sometime after 3am, but by then I felt so sleepy (rather than tired), that I sat down at the side of the building, and dozed off a little. there I gave up this project, and decided, that I am not this fit like you. :) the next year, I paid for the hornlihutte, and did it solo from there. it was great, but the conditions were very good, and I did not feel it very difficult. Congratulations! 6.5 hours feels crazy fast to me. one question: what was the date when you did this?
@@ValeriyVasilyev thanks! I did it on 16 July 2022, but 2022 was a very dry and hot year, so it was completely dry until the ridge turns north facing, and from there there was just enough snow on the final part to make it possible. after that date, it was "closed" (ie the guides did not take any more guests - as I heard - as the top part became too dry)
How did you manage the descent from the summit back down to the shoulder? I know there are some fixed rope but I think usually you rappel down? How did you do this part solo?
I am being curious there. If you're doing it solo, why are you taking a rope with you? Is it to rappel down? And thank you for the video the piano fits very well
Correct .. snow makes it really much harder. Planning to go with a guide or on your own? I did it on the 11th of July (guided) and there was still snow which didn't make it easier
@@simonlindermeier3894 The day before yesterday, September 15, I climbed again and the conditions were much worse. You have to be well prepared to do it.

From Zermatt to the summit in one push. Great performance. And with the best climbing weather you can wish for.
The path on the summit ridge looks about a foot wide in the video. Maybe it’s wider in person but I’m not going up to check it. Great climb!
5:52 a little scare. That ridge is crazy exposed.
It is exposed indeed, but camera makes it look worse than it is.
Great vid, nerves of steel for that ridge.
