Being a member at Machrihanish I always love when a video is made about the course and how well it's received...great vid. You will enjoy the Dunes...!!
It was a wonderful experience and I am a lucky man!! Just pure links golf at its best. The people are also very nice. Loved every minute of my trip. Did you watch the Machrihanish Dunes video? Make sure you play it while you are there.
Best 1st holes in golf you ask.... well Machrihanish certainly is one of them! Here are 5 more. Portstewart in Northern Ireland, Aberdour in Scotland (a beautiful par3 - its 2nd is also a par 3!), Kings Course at Gleneagles, Royal Aberdeen (which heralds perhaps the best front nine in golf) and lastly my own personal favourite (as I play it most weeks!) the Eden in St Andrews - a short par4 with a most challenging green, backed by a wall and a scenically beautiful old cottage.
Never played on the Isle of Arran but what a great looking course. You should pay Phyllis more for the quality video during all of the wind, hail and rain! Cheers Bris.
Absolutely a fabulous golf course. Actally it is on the Kintyre peninsula, we stayed the night before on Arran. It was a great trip. Already wanting to go back!! Cheers mate!!

I had a great time at your golf course. It is an amazing links in a beautiful setting. And I did enjoy the Dunes! I look forward to a return visit.
You are a lucky man, amazing course - I'm saving your video. I'm a "local" eg Glasgow golfer - heading to Macrahanish in September.
