@@sanketsc I am not angry, just annoyed, anger is too much to waste on YT :) And nobody has problems with mistakes. Those can be made, rectified etc. Also everybody has their perspective on art so it is not going to be uniform response. The issue is actually watching the video for a reaction is a basic thing, and they are even failing at that. And the subber's reaction is perfectly emblematic of the issues with this channel that people have been pointing out for months. He told me to go somewhere else and only stopped responding when everyone started slamming him. They are rude, condescending, arrogant and just tell people to leave even if someone politely corrects or points something out. Korbin used to do that himself, but now he has his team to do that for him. Recently neither of them reads or responds to anything other than someone expressing their undying love for them. People have been giving context, info, background on so many things repeatedly. But people can only learn from mistakes if they acknowledge them first, or are willing to take feedback other than absolute adoration. And the overall tone of the channel has been to coast on 'minimal effort' for months. Some people just got sick of it, and they responded when the minimal effort became too hard to ignore.
@@sanketsc They have already repeated this crap many many times now. Look at the review for "mera kuch samaan" from Ijaazat and "Chalte chalte" from Pakeezah... LIke some one else pointed out... During "Kuch to log kahenge" again instead of lyrics their entire "reaction" kept pointing similarities between Sharmila and Saif's face.
Just let the classics be. You do not have the sensibility or sensitivity or the willingness to understand and appreciate. Stick to the recent fare, it's more up your creek
One of the all time greats, you must be very proud! I personally feel bad but not for him, the fact that they ignored lyrics cannot reduce an absolute legend like him.
You completely ignored that intense powerful song, lyrics, performance, lata’s voice... this is crime. We know korbin is stupid but rick??? This is emotional song... pay attention n tribute
Rick is actually worse than Korbin... Korbin is very much like the dumb "Jason stackhouse" character in True blood... But he knows that and sticks to stupidities expected out of him. It is Rick who thinks he is the one who should have directed Citizen Kane and probably train Elia Kazan in direction... Whereas he is not fit to hold the light on a David Dhawan movie set...
Another reaction like this was some time back, in Kuch Toh Log Kahenge. That was equally frustrating. All they cud talk about was how similar Saif Ali Khan looked to his mother 🙄🙄
I agree with each every comment here… they totally missed out on the beauty of the lyrics and sentiments, just kept vibing with the music. This is one of my most favourite song and I was excited to see the review. They ruined it 😏 sorry Himanshu your work got unnoticed 🥺
i guess the name of the channel perfected their actual reaction technique i too was very excited for this song reaction they ruined it like anything being an old era song fan i too agree with each comments though I used to suggest but not for such irritating reactions they were least bothered with the lyrics and was on their own world with the music i would suggest not to react atleast to such songs if you can react dont ruin the song and its eternal elegance
Kinda makes me sad how they hype and pay attention to cheesy Akshay Kumar and Govinda songs than a beautiful and a classic song like this.. This was a song where the lyrics and the video needed to be given more importance..
Rajkumar and Meena Kumar, a doctor nurse duo are in unspoken love. Then Raj goes and gets married to another to please his mom. This is a party in their honour, there is guilt, sorrow and of course a lot of gossip. Raj’ wife is a rich neurotic woman doesn’t help.
What is the points of lyrics and the video if OSR is going to ignore it. Last time I was this irritated was the Rishi Kapoor tribute song Main Shayar To Nahin from Bobby. This is Irritation squared.
If you guys don't understand the lyrics and emotions of the songs ,then why you gave reaction.this song is masterpiece. 🙏 I request don't do this .with respect
Just cannot believe that you ruined this reaction and totally missed the essence and emotions associated with this song. You guys try to find meaning in stupid videos of Akshay and Ranveer but something as beautiful as this…at least pay a little attention to the details.
Request to Rick and Korbin (even though I know you guys don't even bother with feedback any more unless you are getting adored or totally slammed): For Bollywood stuff stick to the 90's (it's not Bollywood before that so let's not insult the classics by calling them that) and songs and fight scenes or whatever of South stars that are requested by South fans. Please just leave the classics alone, at least the Hindi ones (other regions can speak for their classics). This kind of 'reactions' to these beloved songs that people have cherished for decades and grown up on are actually painful to sit through for actual cinema lovers (not the young fans who abound here, because they are uninformed too, people like me who despite being a 90's kid loves 50-60's Hindi cinema and consider it the best phase of the now decrepit Hindi industry). And I don't mean emotionally painful, I mean so cringe they are hard to sit through. It's better to play to your strength; and understanding the history and various phases of Indian cinema is clearly not that for you. So better to avoid.
Your subbers works really hard for you guys... And they do a brilliant job too. Lyrics are the soul of these old classics and most of the Indian songs.. Hope you don't let it go in vain just like that. You completely missed it out this time..
They used to be the souls of most Indian songs. Not anymore these days. There's no story being told in the lyrics that goes beyond what you already would have guessed from the song's name. Bollywood is dying.
Also ,' yeh roshani ke sath kyon dhua udha chirag se, yek khwab dekhti hu main,ke jab padi hu khwab se.' ..... Beautiful lines .. I am feeling fortunate that I know hindi... And they don't... Really stupid.... ☹️☹️☹️☹️

Please its a humble req. React to those things which are liked by youth's because its more relatable to you.... And don't try pretend that you like these old classic videos..... Stop luring people here..
Its like dancing on "YOU ARE MY SUNSHINE" sung by Johnny Cash. This reaction song has a slightly peppy, cheery music laced with a heart-warming lyrics. The mishap in reaction could have been avoided simply by looking at the lyrics but all in vain. Rick said," I wanna have what they are smoking" but my friend what you guys smoked prior to reaction; must have been a superior quality weed.
I just stopped watching it...I wish you guys could have focussed on the lyrics and acting of legendary actress Meena Kumari and tried to understand the soul of this song.
Meena Kumari - the queen of subtle acting!! She was such a refreshingly grounded actor. In all her songs you need to pay particular attention to her - eyes, facial expressions & body movement. She says so much with so little. You can feel her pain and hurt - lips smiling and eyes brimming with unshed tears. And you can see how it slowly dawns on Raj Kumar what the song really means. Great direction and acting. The song is such a classic.....gets me teary every time. Thanks for the subs Himanshu. I read all of it though I know the song really well :-)
Perfectly said. Watch Meena Kumari and Rajkumar. One of meenakumari' friend also understood some thing. Rest were oblivious of this and they were actually the ones who are merry making. Please watch again and give your reactions. You may watch the film, :Dil apna aur preet parayee',
Himanshu's efforts have been in vain.... You folks didn't even bother to read the subtitles.... Instead of reading the subtitles, you were cheering and dancing to one of the wonderful songs about heartbreak.... This isn't a reaction; it's a blunder.... I've never been so dissatisfied with you people before....

The first time I watched this song on tv I was so young. I watched it on Rangoli , Sunday mornings. I did not know Hindi at all then being a south Indian. But from the first instant I knew it is a melancholy song. I wonder how these two missed it completely
A few years ago an East European friend unexpectedly dropped by my house. I happened to have Rafi’s version of ‘Ehsaan tera hoga mujh par’ playing on my laptop. This woman claims no special musical skills, does not know a word of any Indian language and had never before listened to any form of Indian music (except for some bhangra!). She was mesmerized and absolutely blown away by the quality of Rafi’s singing. She asked to listen to some more of his songs and immediately picked up on a key Rafi trait - his tremendous vocal range (she initially struggled to believe that it was indeed Rafi’s voice in all the songs). Rick and Korbin have reacted to a number of Rafi songs and I have never ever seen either of them even notice Rafi’s singing in the videos, never mind show any awareness of Rafi’s enormous talent. Instead, they tend to go off at a tangent to discuss completely irrelevant stuff, talk over the videos so you can’t hear the song or, for some strange reason, love to randomly bring ‘Big B’ into the ‘reaction’. Rick, in particular, seems bored unless there is some ‘really cool’ cinematography. Heck, though they profess to love Lata, even their review of ‘Chalte Chalte’ was very disappointing. And they just seem to be going through the motions in this one. But back to Rafi - if you remain unmoved by the genius of one of the titans of Indian music, then perhaps the classics really aren’t for you and you should stick to reviewing the modern dross. Anyway, I have unsubscribed. For anyone looking for alternative reactions to some old Indian classics, I recommend Jimmi Croni. She hasn’t reviewed many of these, but at least she genuinely loves Indian cinema and can, without the benefit of subtitles, pick up on the mood by carefully listening to the song and watching the actors. Her reactions to ‘Inhi logon ne’, ‘Chalte Chalte’ and ‘Piya tose naina laage re’ are sublime.
Thanks for a lovely detailed comment, great anecdote about your friend. And yes, I agree. After this much time and this many songs, they really haven't gotten Rafi at all, and how and why he is the greatest. I am starting to think the only reason they pretend to love Lata is because she was introduced with fanfare with her significance and legendary status. And so they stick to the routine, while not even knowing it's her unless told. And they don't actually 'get' Indian music or singing or nuances of the language even after so much exposure, including to classical music and it's intricacies. It's really quite mind boggling. How can anyone be so dense, and not absorb anything at all in this much time. In fact, they seem to have gradually lost brain cells, and get things even less now. The only explanation is, they were actually putting in effort while building an audience, but are quite happy with the numbers they've got now. So now it's just coasting on minimal effort. And not even a pretense of doing any research on background info or context of anything whatsoever. Just make hay while the sun shines. Oh well. Sad to see people who actually understand things become disappointed and leave while mindless celebrity fans stick around as they love being pandered to. Oh well.
@@ant5630 Yes they like Lata most probably because she had been introduced as India's best to them. They even watch SRK silly 90's songs and movies regularly because he has been introduced as the favourites of many. Otherwise, I don't think they would have liked SRK a bit
First of all I agree fully about jimmycroni... I have mentioned some of her reactions in this comment thread. I completely agree about these idiots having ZERO knowledge about nuances and vocal range of stalwarts and ZERO desire to learn... Rick thinks he is somebody who has mastered Indian movies and music which he MOST CERTAINLY has not... The other one is dumber than a box of hair but at least hopefully is aware of the same and doesn't pretend to be all that like Rick... The two think that the Indian movie industry began with Amitabh Bachchan.... LOL
@@ant5630 I think they pretend to love Lata because she is still alive and they can pander to their subscribers by reviewing her live performances. Also, no knock on Lata, but even her songs from the later decades are nowhere near the caliber of the earlier ones. Not her fault, the lyricists and the music composers were simply not as good. And simple is the word - these later ‘simpler/mediocre’ songs are much more up Rick’s and Korbin’s alley, rather than those from the 50s, 60s and even the 70s. If it was the other way around and Rafi was still alive today, these two would be raving about Rafi and completely indifferent to Lata’s genius. It flabbergasts me how anyone professing to be musically knowledgeable could listen to Rafi, of all people, and remain completely indifferent - one would think even a tin ear would pick up that it was listening to someone unique and very special.
You are right. Nowadays I feel that these guys are giving false reactions . Before few months I was really enjoying their views . But now I get irritated some times. Most of the old songs or movies they don't watch with same interest which they show towards South Indian movies or some silly stuff, which is really irritated . They have not seen Dilip Kumar's songs seriously, they never appreciate asha Bhosale, Dev Anand . They think that Indian cinema has been started now from deepika and Alia... They still don't understand that old bollywood movies are still the best movies.... And when someone trying to tell them these things , they ignore that person. Very sad...
I’ve been told that my maternal grandpa used to sing this to my grandma. I’ve never met him. He passed away before I was born. But my grandma used to say he was a romantic. I think I get that from him

this explains that if they dont get a written intro they will not try to understand the video themselves, their whole reaction is determined by the written text at the start. They try so hard to show that they understand the essence however that is true only because of the text. Only if the written text gives them a heads up about the nuances will they notice them otherwise not. Watch all the recent videos.

You don't have to raise your antennae like ' oh , English lyrics ! Let's see how they have messed it up" I feel that vibe coming from Rick and that's very annoying.
Yeah he just facepalmed as soon as the English lyrics started in Krazzy 4 song. I mean I am not saying that the lyrics were good in that, but at least listen first before judging
Please remember that in old Indian movies, lyrics were very important. It was actually a sad song but you reacted quite differently. It may be better to go through background situation in old movies, and to pay attention to lyrics.

No doubt that they ruined the song, but you guys have been acting like this is the first time happening here, either they react to very very shitty stuff or either they ruin a masterpiece by not focusing on the in depth meaning. Honestly this is not new if you all think, they have been very arrogant in a while but at least they enjoyed the song and I enjoyed their reaction lol. But well quality is getting overcomed by quantity and that's a sad fact.
I think to appreciate something from this era, you guys need to unlearn and reboot a lot. Pls do NOT react to Hindi oldies pre-70s. You won't get it I guess.
The best part about this song for me is that it starts as a happy song but by the end it speaks about the heartache. But I guess they completely missed it because they were not much interested in the lyrics. The entire time I kept screaming in my head "Look at the lyrics! Look at the lyrics! Look at the expressions!" It was like an itch in my head. 😂😂 I understand that the music was very good and catchy, but most of the old hindi songs have equal weight in lyrics as the music. That's the reason why people still can't get over them. Reaction Inception! And memes, or Tinder chats. I mean WTF?!!! Jaby is at least smart to expand his business by building American reaction channels off the back of the Indian numbers. Good for him! He wasn't even wasting his time watching movies this past year because business was good. Now he seems to have figured out that he can monetize the 2 hrs it will take him to watch a movie by putting up videos of his very obvious 'reaction' to pander even more. @shruti ss so true lately they just watch videos for the sake of it. Like this video meant that they are done with another song reaction for their daily quota.
Now this is a quality song.
Though, the lads kinda missed the point with the overly happy reaction. Lot of good subtle acting here to analyse, blokes.

@@ant5630 We all are allowed to make mistake. I can understand your anger, but at the same time we all have made mistakes and important thing is not to repeat. As long as they don't repeat I am fine. Also, we need to take a note that, they have not grown up loving these classics like us. They should have been informed better.
@@sanketsc I am not angry, just annoyed, anger is too much to waste on YT :)
And nobody has problems with mistakes.

Rick is actually worse than Korbin... Korbin is very much like the dumb "Jason stackhouse" character in True blood... But he knows that and sticks to stupidities expected out of him. You guys missed LITERALLY EVERYTHING shown on the screen and in subtitles... and It was a LOT... Pathetic "reaction"

@@reshmamohite8569 Yeah, if it's Priyank pooping on screen, still Rick will say "I'm happy"
They still don't understand that old bollywood movies are still the best movies.... And when someone trying to tell them these things , they ignore that person. Very sad...

this explains that if they dont get a written intro they will not try to understand the video themselves, their whole reaction is determined by the written text at the start.
They try so hard to show that they understand the essence however that is true only because of the text. Only if the written text gives them a heads up about the nuances will they notice them otherwise not. Watch all the recent videos.
