A long time after, he returned to Iula, asking if she wants to fight the powerful beings that took her husband; she agreed without hesitation. (edited to tell some relevant story beats)

If Riot were to put Atreus' sworn enemy into the game, Aatrox, what region would he be? Would he be from Shurima, as he once were an Ascended who was corrupted by the war against the Void? Or perhaps Targon, as few know his origins and he hunts for the godly Aspects of Targon? This would be the same case for Aurelion Sol, he has mostly nothing to do with Targon other than bringing down the Aspects.
Targon or frejord imo. He’s been to both of them recently (targon to kill pantheon, and frejord to kill trynd’s tribe) and both of these regions have the right identity to properly support him, with buffs, overwhelm, and even self harm. Shurima is the other main place he could go, but IMO he doesn’t quite fit the identity as well as the other two

Strong men are only inspiring when they are protective and have strong morals. Everyone looks up to champions like Pantheon and Braum for this reason, while Darius or Trynda.. not so much.
Darius has strong morals and convictions and is a really interesting character in the new lore, though his in game voicelines are outdated and he feels bland because of it. Tryndamere does have very little lore though so we don't know anything about him

But given how broken fated is, might as well play him asap.
