    The simple solution to store 10 or 15 Gallons of gas is to keep 2 or 3 five gallon cans, and about once a month use the gas in your cans to refill your car. Then refill your cans at the gas station so you always have your cans full, but the gas is never more than 30 days old.

    I would add that electric blankets use less than 100 watts of power, so at least that is feasible to survive with using electricity.

    One advantage of propane is that it doesn’t go bad like diesel or gasoline.

      Oddly enough I got some extremely expired butane and it broke several torches and lighters and smelled awful. So apparently propane is about it for stability.
