This man played the main theme, then combined Avatar’s Love with Leaves from the Vine, then The Avatar State, then the Agni kai theme, then The Avatar State (slightly different), and wrapped it up with the Leaves From the Vine opening. This truly made my eyes waterbend.
Let me try to summarise this video: -Patrik combined the Agni Kai theme with "Irohs speech" -The notes look like fire because of firebending (duh) -He combined "avatars love" with "secret tunnel" -He played the main theme several times in the possibly most epic way -The little part at the end, leaves from the vine made me almost cry Yes indeed, Patrik is the avatar because he is able to play all the 4 themes together.
Max Fuchs I think leaves of the vine was sadder because they did that story because he died and he wrote that song while he had cancer and he cried because he was dying
@@lilywang57 I am seriously not the person to ask for that. I am pretty amusical, actually. But, to me, they sound pretty much the same. I think that they might be played on different instruments ("The Avatar's Love" seems crisper and lighter to me; their color is different), the background melody or whatever might be different, and their durations are different.
@@lilywang57 So, technically both of those songs contain the same motif, and the motif is what’s present in this arrangement. It’s a hard one to nail down, especially because it’s mostly used at the beginning of the series, when the composers weren’t completely sure what motifs they wanted to represent what, but it can best be described as the leitmotif for Aang’s innocence or childlike side. I just call it Aang’s motif, it seems most fitting to me. As to why everyone calls it the Avatar’s Love: Avatar’s Love is probably the most famous song from the soundtrack, and is the place we hear that motif most clearly and recognizably. The only other place it’s present on the publicly released soundtrack is in Safe, which is super short and hard to figure out where it’s actually from, so it gets almost completely ignored. Interesting tidbit of information, “The Avatars Love” is actually a better description for a different part of the song that uses different motifs. After Aang’s theme plays we get a small motif that was played in the episode “The Cave Of Two Lovers” (and a couple other places) which represents love, specifically Aang and Katara’s relationship. That love motif is then followed by the part of the song that should actually be called The Avatar’s Love, a short statement that was also played when Aang and Katara kissed at the invasion. So really, most of the fandom is wrong in calling Aang’s motif “The Avatar’s Love,” but it’s understandable why they would do so.

All I can say is wow! I have seen the show since I was 10 and I'm a huge fan. I am currently re-watching the show for like to 7th time I think, and you just gave me chills. You captured the songs so well, and I love the ending with Leaves From The Vine, which almost gave me tears. Perfect!
Put me into a nostalgic shock, I was in the middle of working on a project and now all I can think about is the big sad/happy that you get whenever you finish an important series and realize that it's over.
Not gonna lie, I did wonder if Patrick would arrange any soundtracks from this series and I wondered what ones he would play I didn't expect all of them to be arranged so well and eloquently!
I watched Patrik doing a harmonic ' Agni kai' with piano and appreciating the beauty of the ' Avatar's love' when I heard the rustling of some ' leaves from the vine'
We asked for it... We begged for it... We Pleaded for it... And God DAMM, did PatrikPietschmann deliver! This... was Beautiful... there are no other words to describe it... I probably wasn’t as young as most viewers of Avatar when it first came out, I was roughly a year or two older than Zuko was portrayed as... but this show was still one of the ones I consider the Classics of my childhood, and I’ll never forget it... and this Music... damm! I got chills just as the first notes started playing, and for the majority of the video just immersed myself in memories of watching the show for the first time... Then ‘Leaves from the Vine’ hits and damm, the water works immediately start up... Thank you for this Patrik (I hope that’s the right way to spell you name, I’m going off what I can see on my screen)... this was amazing, and Beautiful, and I’m sure every Avatar fan loves you today... keep making great Piano Covers man, you’re Amazing 😉
Damn. Of all the arrangements I’ve been watching for over an hour on this channel... this one made me cry. Truly beautiful arrangement. 2:34 “...oh my god..” 2:56 (crying) “Oh my god!” 3:19 (full sobbing) “Why would you do this to me?”
I really have to say as someone who watches this series over and over again this cover has so many allusions intertwined like the agni kai and irohs speech theme and works so wonderfully in harmony... i really appreciate your effords and love this video and of course all the others as well, pls continue the good work!
I've been wanting to rewatch the series for a while and I think this seals the deal, I absolutely loved this. Now I have two humble requests/suggestions: 1. Skyfall Theme 2. Gravity Falls Theme Thank you for these arrangements, they truly brighten my week and motivate me to keep practicing and enjoying piano. Stay safe Patrik!
To this day i have still not found a show (let alone a cartoon) that has captured the hearts of so many people, kids, adults, everyone. It was truly a masterpiece, the character growth, the depth everything about it was outstanding. Takes me back to my childhood
i don’t usually comment on videos but I would definitely recommend watching avatar the last airbender, I just watched it a month ago and it’s one of the most phenomenal stories and diverse set of character with real depth and development. Also I laughed so much, and laughter is really what I needed right now. Your music and piano and composition (the way you blended the different songs) is so beautiful. I think if you just watched 1 or two episodes, you’ll be able to see why people of the fandom appreciate your beautiful and artistic creation. It really is a stunning tribute and we would love for you to understand and feel what you’ve created ! Either way, I am always to hesitant to watch a show that is hyped so I hope you just keep doin your thing :) thank you !

I love the part when you played the theme notes three in a row, super cool! LOVE this theme! You are truly the Avatar, Patrik!
wow. i'm speechless. avatar has been a very dear show to me since i was little, and you've managed to do it justice while still retaining your own unique style. hands down, this is now my favorite avatar piano piece!!
seriously, its beautiful
I’m not tearbending, *You’re* tearbending 😢
We're all tearbending
This is making me tearbend!
This has me going places. From feeling sad, to happy, to courageous and lastly melancholic. Beautiful really!
Probably the best arranger on RUclips. Thank you for letting us experience this beautiful pieces!
The TENET soundtrack with piano tiles moving from different directions would be awesome!
Yes please! :)
Yes! Have the piano tiles flowing up from when you strike with your fingers.
The man actually did it
Not gonna lie, I did wonder if Patrick would arrange any soundtracks from this series and I wondered what ones he would play
I didn't expect all of them to be arranged so well and eloquently!
Only Patrick, master of all keys, could create such an extraordinary piece, but when the piano needed him the most, he did not vanish
This should be an popular comment bruh most underrated most .. btw so true xddddddddd he is more responsible than avatar roku's 😂
@@Power_TheInfinityGod thank you hahah!
@@anita3956 np It is really true :)
this man just went into the piano maestro state that was freaking awesome!!!
I watched Patrik doing a harmonic ' Agni kai' with piano and appreciating the beauty of the ' Avatar's love' when I heard the rustling of some ' leaves from the vine'
How I miss this show... So many beautiful wisdoms passed on from a children's show. Beautiful playing, you rocked it. 🤘
I can't even count how many times I've come back to the this video. Beautifully arranged. Thank you for making this
THIS GIVES ME CHILLS LIKE I CANT STOP LISTEINING TO THIS.......................................
I love how he steps up the difficulty gradually in each section. I have learned so much from watching him play.
OMFG I waited on this so long
I agree totally. The hobbit would be great to.
Yeees battle of the heroes and anakin vs obi wan would sound great with patrick piano thing
When he started playing Soldier Boy Come Marching Home I nearly started crying😭 poor Uncle Iroh
Friendly correction: Leaves From The Vine.
Another friendly correction: did start crying
I love how u combined the avatar's love and leaves from the vine. can't stop listening to this.
Why is this making me feel so emotional!!
Damn. Of all the arrangements I’ve been watching for over an hour on this channel... this one made me cry. Truly beautiful arrangement.
2:34 “...oh my god..”
2:56 (crying) “Oh my god!”
3:19 (full sobbing) “Why would you do this to me?”
This should be the new show's official theme. It's epic and beautiful. Well done!
This is by far my favourite avatar's main theme piano version! It just sounds so good
I really have to say as someone who watches this series over and over again this cover has so many allusions intertwined like the agni kai and irohs speech theme and works so wonderfully in harmony... i really appreciate your effords and love this video and of course all the others as well, pls continue the good work!
I've been wanting to rewatch the series for a while and I think this seals the deal, I absolutely loved this.
Now I have two humble requests/suggestions:
1. Skyfall Theme
2. Gravity Falls Theme
Thank you for these arrangements, they truly brighten my week and motivate me to keep practicing and enjoying piano. Stay safe Patrik!
This video will always be in my favorite playlist!
TY Patrick:3
Mine too!
Yep same.
Perfect Patrik! And this 4:44 to the end? :O, thank you, made my day magic!
To this day i have still not found a show (let alone a cartoon) that has captured the hearts of so many people, kids, adults, everyone. It was truly a masterpiece, the character growth, the depth everything about it was outstanding. Takes me back to my childhood
*me listening to avatars love happily then leaves from the vine plays: **slowly sobs**
This is so beautiful I can't actually put it into words, I feel like it touches my soul
this show is not just any catroon its my childhood memories
i don’t usually comment on videos but I would definitely recommend watching avatar the last airbender, I just watched it a month ago and it’s one of the most phenomenal stories and diverse set of character with real depth and development.
I clicked on Avatar Main Theme; I was not prepared for the waterworks that is Soldier Boy. Ya did it again Patrik!
This is AMAZING!!!! My brothers and I grew up watching Avatar and still love it til this day!
Avatar is the best!
I love how he included all the best music!

“It’s the four themes of ATLA combined in one person that makes the avatar, Patrik Pietschmann, so powerful.”
-Uncle Iroh to Zuko
+ me :)
Okay. 2:54
I wasn't expecting him to put those two tunes together. This is simply genius.
Vielen lieben Dank, Patrick
Liebe Grüsse aus der Schweiz :)
This will always be so magical I love it
Yesterday was history
Tomorrow is a mystery
But today is a gift, cause the legende uploaded again❤️🙌
Wait that's not an avatar reference
@@Flandre-Scarlet nah but Oogways quotes match to everything
Oogway is pretty wise too.
@@lukastace3154 yessssir
Oogway my fav
Can we appreciate the fact that he has not seen the series and still produced such a beautiful piece.
@Avatar Fan Girl probably playing piano
Holy wow worth the wait! good job
Could you do Black Panther next? I really liked the musical elements in every song and for a memorial for Chadwick Boseman.
Yeah that would be nice...
Rest in peace Chadwick Boseman
THE BLENNNND 😩. Avatar’s Love and Leaves from the Vine all at once was something I never thought I wanted, but it was something I always needed🥲👌
So I started learning piano and I now appreciate what you do so much more, I used to think parts of this aren’t that hard, now I realize how hard it is to play the “not that hard” parts. Thank you so much for developing this talent and sharing it with us!
I’m not tearbending. It’s Melon Lord. She’s making dust clouds appear. But honestly this dude is soo good
5:12 is just too good!!!
Thank you for playing this so great and touching that my girlfriend had a breakdown listening to this. The story of uncle Iroh is just so heartbreaking and you touched her and my soul with your music! Incredible
incredible as always patrik
thank you for making this piano version! this means a lot to me. that show is a huge part of my life, and you combined the songs beautifully. ❤❤
and just in time as I'm currently rewatching the series, the cover is amazing, thank you
