I love it when you share tips like this. So often it will be later that it percolates in my brain for a solution to some problem I'm working on. Thanks!
increasing the number of segments of an arc may sometimes enlarge its absolute footprint. the angle between each segment is sharper, when there are less segments. the curve marginally expands to its sides as it becomes smoother.
when i draw a circle, i always align the radius i am starting with to one of the axes so that a potential bisecting in future does not go through a random point of an individual segment.
@@richardhaas1989 Now weld command is built in Sketchup, anyway, it doesn't heal/convert connected lines back into Arc. and I was joking about Arc Welding which is the process used to weld metal 😁

Thank you for this slightly more advanced video. More videos like this one would be appreciated.

Yes, but always within the dimension of the radius!
Grazie, dopo tanti anni di SketchUp, non ci avevo mai pensato. Fantastico!

Excellent!
Could you also go through annotations on Layout i.e scale bar and section signs, etc please. Thanks!
There should be a plugin or preset setting for the number of circle segments or even a key shortcut
I didn't know that,
Maybe we need an Arc Welding tool (no it's not what you think)
Thanks Aaron!
The WELD extension...

is it possible to combine two different modified parts into one piece and edit and modify them as a new body
Thanks!
