this is my favourite Peter and Harry dynamic. Thier friendship doesn't fully fall apart Even with the symbiote suit. They truly love eachother
When Peter tells Harry, "I love you," right before he dies, was unexpected and surprisingly heartbreaking. Too wholesome of a friendship.
@@angelm365 and it's also a situation where it's neither of their fault. Unlike with Otto and Phin where they wanted revenge. Harry just didn't want to die. He wasn't really in control the entire time
@uriattias675 Exactly. In this iteration, Harry's simply a all around good dude. He's not naive and spoiled, but instead, he's lost a loved one, survives the same illness that took said loved one away, and becomes motivated to try to make a world a better place with a goal driven and clear mind.
He only loses it for a moment, and that's all the symbiote needed to take full control and corrupt him. A d he sacrifices his life to save the world. Tragic afff
And now he's probably going to return as the green goblin to bring all of us even more heartache

All the young Peter missions are amazing in this game. Like the photo help side mission which caught me so off guard cause I thought we were just gonna help someone take a picture

What I love about these games by Insomniac is how they get you to care for these characters outside the standard superhero conventions; you can really tell that everyone cares about Spider-Man and they put their heart and soul into the making of this. Bravo, Insomniac, Stan Lee and Steve Ditko would be proud!
Steve Ditko wouldn't, considering Insomniac didn't pay Donny Cates, whose ideas were pretty much the basis for what they did with Venom in this game.
Another comic creator cheated out of a paycheck. Typical Marvel. Stan Lee would be proud.

This was the Harry I grew up with
Everyone’s favorite childhood hero was Spiderman. Mine was Harry.
He wasn’t some nerd trying to find a cure or steal MJ from Pete. He was a brother.
And his story in the Tobey movies was perfection.

Best scene ever for Peter and Harry
Ikr I think this game does possibly the best for showing how good of friends Harry and Peter are.
This is really the sweetest version of Harry I’ve ever seen. he’s not some asshole who resents the guy who supposed to be his best friend and being jealous of his father’s affections towards him. He does go there a little during the middle of the game, but only because he’s not in a right state of mind with his disease returning.
Peter is played by Yuri Lowenthal who played Ben Tennyson in Alien Force and onwards. Harry is played by Graham Phillips who played Ben Tennyson in one of the live action movies. So basically every scene with Harry and Peter is just Ben Tennyson talking to himself.
It would be funny if Yuri and Graham joked with each other about that if they ever interacted with each other during the game’s development.
Which Ben 10 Live Action did Graham took part in ? Was it the race against time ?

Replaying this after seeing the end, even the Rick Roll hits different. "Never gonna give you up" is the perfect emotional summary of their relationship and how it plays out.

I couldn't help but have a big goofy smile on my face all throughout this mission.
Their friendship warmed my heart so much and I loved every second of it.
I won't lie, when it seemed like Harry died at the end, I actually started crying. When he was revived tho, I let out a gasp of relief, and you could just hear the shaking in my voice when I did.
That's how much this friendship between the three meant to me.

I can't express how much I loved the inclusion of Cigarette Daydreams and New Slang in this. I've always thought those songs would fit Pete's Spider-Man, and including them just made this entire part of the game more enjoyable; not to mention having a rick roll too!
