    FIDE just outed the greatest player of all time - what a dumpster fire! Quality of leadership is measured by competence in resolving conflicts. This has been an ongoing situation and Emil Sutovsky is only making things worse. He is clearly not on top of things. Any other leader would have been fired immediately by the board for loosing the biggest attraction to their business. What a disaster!

    I think the Freestyle thing ... is probably what triggered it, then the Jeans was just the last straw.

      Funny thing is Hikaru was wearing jeans too!? I saw a tweet about that right after I posted the video 😂. Maybe it would have made it in!?

      Yes, this happened yesterday December 27th, 2024. I happened to be covering the games live and I didn't realize chat was serious about this whole Magnus thing.
      Seems like a day that we are going to remember in chess history :)
