Cory giving the exact opposite advice that they just learned for the minigame is the most Cory thing to happen
He literately just heard the tv say, stand still during light, move in the dark. And without missing a beat said that opposite, thinking he was correct! Never change Cory, never change.
They die to it, they all say "oh its when the lights are on you don't move", Cory agrees with this, then the minigame starts again and hes trying to tell Chris to move when the lights are on again. Its like he got his memory erased the second the game starts every time
Just like what he said with about the chapter lengths. Every day is opposite day in Cory's brain

I mean he literally says the wrong thing the MOMENT AFTER the game tells them what to do. He's done it with every game they've played. Its maddening.
It's not that bad because it's a silly game, but when they went through the chase bit and didn't even attempt to grab what I suppose are very obvious grabbable rings it made me sigh like a disappointed father.
It's such a babyish game that paying attention to the dialogue makes you feel stupid, if it triggers you that they don't want to that's sad.

That was some DSP tier gameplay
The first time I did that section I legit missed that4 times and hugged the rock wall at the end, the monster's ai glitched out and crawled through the floor and I had to look-up the solution online.
If you ever feel like the gameplay here is subpar, just know there are always dumber people out there.

In case anybody wonders, Red Hulk is General Ross who went under the same Hulk procedure. It emits constant radiations. But I will defend Cory's mistake because I want to see a turquoise Hulk after being exposed to cosmic radiations.
I'd say "Outer space radiation" is as good a guess as any when it comes to comic book super power origins.

So if anybody is wondering the reason people got upset about the $10 price tag it's because on their Kickstarter they promised that each chapter would cost only 5, saying that they upped it due to the length of the chapter. Regardless of rather or not it was fair, their past of quickly jumping on merch before they even really had a game, the NFTs, and the fact that they got a movie deal before chapter 2 released gave people the impression that these people were greedy and only upped it because they knew they could.
Especially with where this game is going, it's clearly not even a passion project and just a add on to bad kid horror games

What makes OneyPlays videos fun is that they make progress even if it is executed in a sub-optimal manner. What makes the videos extra fun are the comment sections. To me they are sort of like DVD extras for a movie. additional content and lore to the whole "world" of videos and other things that they do.
I find them entertaining and more engaging than most creator comment sections. It's like when you are browsing though youtube videos and then see a user with the name Patrick Bateman with the character as their profile pic and they say "Impressive... very nice... let's see Paul Allen's (video subject matter)" naturally this comment gets a good deal of likes and replies usually playing along with it, or further quoting the film.
I dunno what this whole spiel was about, but this is a good comment section. I look forward to seeing how the future ruins it.
If you are wondering what the devs did, they cyber bullied a kid who was inspired to make animations like theirs and wanted to collaborate with them. It resulted in him having to go to a mental institution for help. They claim they made up with the kid, but he says he has never got any emails or been contacted by them. Also NFT’s and countless lies about their intentions and financial situation.
i love that every time Cory tries to explain game mechanics and rules, he just forgets certain things to where he recites it the exact opposite way or just really wrong in some way
