@@MisterBump73 No, it can be played in co-op, even local co-op apparently. And it's supposedly quite good that way as well.
Me and my girlfriend were hyped when this fame was announced, as we were playing all the different coop games and this one seemed interesting. My gf died from cancer in August. I maybe buy the game to honor the devs and the idea, but since her death I can't even force myself to install/launch any game with coop/multiplayer functionality, as it reminds me of the loved one I've lost.
hope things get better for you. I lost someone close to me a month ago. hold those you love close and don't be afraid to ask for help. solidarity

The thing that sold me most on this game is definitely the soundtrack by Danger.

Furi was so dope. Really a unique game. I never made it past the guy who fights you with an oar haha, but I still loved it.
@@Jesse__H Hardest boss in the game input wise (apart from Bernard of course), so no shame there. It's a fantastic game. This one goes pretty much the opposite way, it's really chill and has almost 0 focus on combat or difficulty. It's quite unique and lovely :)

"Risqué... But worth it"?
This seems to be a game about a loving couple.
I need more context for why adult content in such a game is inherently a downside that has to be made up for by other elements.
Genuinely curious, because the trailers made that look like a positive, to be honest -- better than the "adult content" we get in a lot of games trying to be edgy.
Honestly I didn't think I'd like the game, but I like narrative driven games so this certainly wasn't bad. Progression in game felt natural. I barely ran through the same place twice because I always got all the collectibles before moving on. The relationship is clearly a fantasy relationship where the Kay and Yu make sex jokes and mess around literally 90% of the game. It's a feel good story at its core and I almost completely avoided the game solely due to its art style. I adore the heavy amount of dialogue for the two main characters. You barely hear them repeat lines and it's not nearly as annoying as other games. Plus every time you stop to camp or cook a new dish there's a unique scene which is cool, because I barely had to repeat anything and when I did there was still dialogue between them that didn't happen prior. It's genuinely interesting how much such a small game keeps track of. Dialogue choices, food you've made even a stupid seed collecting bet between the two. The game does a lot for such an obscure title.

It's not really turn-based; It barely has a focus on combat at all.
man it is like this game was made for me a couple I can get invested in, a cool world to explore, and game play mechanics I personally adore yep I'm definitely going to get it

The controls on the final(?) drifting part available in the game was frustratingly difficult and I never finished the demo, giving very low chance for me to like the full game unless they've improved it.
@@jepeman Not sure as I didn't play it myself. I'll ask Amy, but I don't think she had any complaints about it in her review.
@@jepeman IF we're talking strictly controller then you have no control over the movement or camera with the right joystick. In fact it does absolutely nothing movement-wise. You sprint with R2 and drift with L2. You can also make U-Turn by flicking the left joystick back. You have some weird momentum before you come to a complete halt, forcing you to drift which isn't exactly responsive or precise either. It's a bit iffy but you get used to it and it's still fun to zoom around.
I played the demo of this during one of the Steam Indy events. It was a delight to expereince, and I am glad the full game holds up.

I played it yesterday, and while I dont think I will play it all the way through, I think that writing a game around a relationship is a really neat idea
Picked this up on Xbox gamepass after remembering it from the first showcase. It looks better than the sort of tech standard I normally associate with inde games, particular how the grass waves as you fly past.
However, I do keep getting infrequent freeze as I glide around. Not full crashes yet but still a bit of an annoyance.

There's quite a lot of forced witticism in the conversations the game could've done without. You know those Hollywood conversations in let's say a Bond film where both speakers have knockout oneliners that they fire at each other in rapid succession and it just feels... off? Haven has some of those and it makes the whole relationship feel a bit less genuine. It's really not bad but it's definitely noticeable.
@@HostileAtHeart The only ones of those I realized existed where when the game was taking cracks at those cringey lines.

It's... it's weird to you that they'd keep releasing games from one of the best selling consoles of all time instead of 100% focusing on the one with severe supply issues. That they have a console generation transition akin to literally every one before.

Not a fan of this game. I didn't expect to like the gliding aspect, but I thought the writing and dialogue would be the highlights. Unfortunately the character's personalities don't offer much to grab onto. I was the most bored whenever the two were talking, which is difficult to say because the gliding/exploration gameplay is beyond boring and many other games have done it better. I was shocked to hear this reviewer praise the mechanics because I found it very generic and unfulfilling.
Nothing wrong with The Last of Us 2’s love scenes with two ladies and another with a buff woman and a man...... with this game we have a man and a woman who are married..... it’s risky and cringe worthy behavior.... 🙄
