No, with this fire you have time to get out. If people in Ca live in the woods right now, it would be a good idea to pack up their valuables and have them ready to evacuate. When I evacuated Paradise, the smoke was so bad, all I could barely see was the yellow line in the middle of the road.
Related note: If you ever hear a burning propane tank roaring like a jet engine, and it's _continuous?_ *RUN.* Roaring and blasting flames on and off is still a teeny-tiny bit safe to be around, but if the roaring goes non-stop, then it's time to get as far away as possible, because it's about to BLEVE. Go ahead and look that one up in the search bar. It's safe for work, but scary!
