Hello Thank you. This one is awesome but super long I can go as far as doing all 3 cars outside and have a some left. I would say the 30ft would be perfect for your needs. I find any reason to use it now I love it. Enjoy
I thought about it but since my son uses it more than I do he wanted to have it this way. Makes sense to put like you mentioned for the debris to go into the vac better. thanks
Hello the pipe comes of the vacuum and the vacuum comes with a removable backplate so its easy to remove from the wall. All you do is press a latch on the side and it pops up and out.
Stubbled across your video. Great garage setup, I am getting tons of useful ideas just looking at it. YT tip - Use a microphone for your voice OR turn down the volume of any audio that you add like music. Viewers will turn up their volume to hear you and then get blasted by loud music.
Hello thank you for your feedback we always want to improve. I had started using Devinci Resolve and didnt have the setting correct. We are getting better I thank you for letting me know.
Hello I do feel a very tiny loss of suction. I am going to cut a bit I dont need that long but since the vac is far away its so quiet when you vacuum and feels great but yes I do feel a bit of a loss. I am looking for a 6 HP vac to increase the suction but still works fantastic. The convenience of having the reel and looks great too out ways the small loos. You can get the 35 ft hose instead of the 50. Thanks
Hello its the 1 1/2 pvc from Homedepot. Remember the part to the vac inlet you have to heat up the pvc to expand just a little so it can fit the Coxreel. The pvc I used is this style. www.homedepot.com/p/Charlotte-Pipe-1-1-2-in-PVC-DWV-90-Degree-Hub-x-Hub-Elbow-Fitting-PVC003000800HD/203393315
Hello I love the setup and you always loose a very small percentage but works perfect with my 5hp vac. We dont need all 50 ft so I might cut out like 7 ft but so far its perfect. They do sell a shorter option hose so if you dont need it that long then get I think the 30 or 35 ft version. There is a thinner option but I wanted the thicker one to keep as mush suction as possible. There are a few options of small vacuums out there that have 6hp that were not available when I purchased my vac a few years ago. I would go with something like a 5.5 to 6hp to offset the small loss. Let me know how your setup ends up. There are some links below that have them and help out the channel. Thank you
Hello I know its expensive but great to use. I wanted one for years and finally pulled the trigger on the Coxreel. Sometimes you can pick them up on ebay used and save a few bucks. There is a similar product designed for woodwork that is less expensive. www.rockler.com
@@ExtremDIY was just about to ask you to do a video making a home made reele they too expensive for me atm bruv lol 😏😩🤦🏼♂️. Like watching your videos but just stumbled across your channel watching from Scotland uk
I believe there is a more affordable brand that is used in wood work shops here is their link. They also sell just the reel for 179.00. www.rockler.com/rockler-dust-right-reg-shop-vacuum-hose-reel-with-40-hose I thought about making one but since I have the blue bike tools I fell in love with the Coxreels.
Yes its a bit pricy but we use it all the time and its so convenient for us. Its not something you need but we enjoy it. My son details cars part time here at the house and he loves it too. Thanks
Love your setup very clean. I have seen some of your videos and you go great work. Thanks
They dont sell that vac any longer but did find some alternative. Beautiful combo and garage. Thank you
Very clean install. Doesnt look cheap but convenient. thank you
I like that setup very nice job and goes along with garage.
That is very nice I know cooxreels are expensive but looks great.

Looks great! Im looking at getting the 30ft version because my garage is 1 car.

It’s nice, but the vacuum should’ve been on the bottom.
I thought about it but since my son uses it more than I do he wanted to have it this way. Makes sense to put like you mentioned for the debris to go into the vac better. thanks
Awesome setup there. Does it work well with the 50 ft hose?
how are you emptying the vacuum bucket with that hard piped? Getting on a ladder and emptying by hand?

Do you notice any loss of ‘suction’ with that long of a hose hooked up?
Great idea with the PVC piping!

Very nice. Is the suction still strong with the 5HP vac?
