Did you figure out a way to connect the vacumaid attachments to the cox reel hose? I got the short hose all setup, but the cuff doesn’t allow me to connect attachments that came with the vacuum on the larger cox hose.
Few questions for you: 1) Can you please provide the dimensions of the board you used to mount the coxreel? 2) How long are the lag screws you used to mount the reel to the custom board? 3) How long are the lag screws you used to mount the board to the wall? Thank you

Good evening, Great video I appreciate it! I am using a rigid shop vac that has a 1 7/8 diameter hose. Rigid HP pro pack. I purchased the hose reel. Any idea on how I can attach my hose or link for reducer of some sort?
What adapter did you use to go from the coxreel hose to the home depot flex crevice tool? It came with a 2 1/2 in adapter but thats much to big. any links?
I did the exact setup and noticed I hear a whistling noise coming from the tube when it is wound on the reel and turned on. Once the hose is 100% off the reel, whistle goes away. Does yours do this?
@@thais0n I tried a few different things but no fix. I will say you get used to it but I normally just pull out the hose far enough and the sound seems to go away.
cox Reels are junk. I had same unit for pressure washer and vacuum and both broke. Good luck getting customer service on the phone to help you. I wont ever buy them again. Vacuum wise its amazing. I have the big boy and love it. Thanks

Did you just cut the hose the vacuum came with and use it as the connection to the reel ?

I have exact same set up but Vacumaid hose reel does not fit to the COx reel side opening.
