I literally spent all my season points and seasons I haven't completed yet so I could actually have an enjoyable grind. This was more of a grind than I expected. A lot more.
I’m so glad they have toggled cosmetic options. I wish more games did that but I understand it’s a way of getting more sales, so super unlikely to happen.
The old armours still stay weirdly modified to accommodate the new armours whether you toggle the new ones on or off, so I wouldn't congratulate them too hard considering it's fairly half-assed.
@@icantthinkofagoodusername4464 Half assed as your own person but yeah, better go all the way through so that H3 can have a way to be played like in the 360.
@@ParagonGoetia Yep. I love the idea of adding new content but it should never come at the cost of any content from the original release. Especially something like character models. If they can't add new content without removing the old, they should at the minimum make sure what's replacing it actually lives up to it.

@@icantthinkofagoodusername4464 They should have added GEN2 as it's own player model like with elites instead of replacing the classic GEN1 armor with Halo 3 themed GEN2...
Also adding a check list for each skin so that we can tone down the goofy skins for just woodland and camo ones would be nice.

It would be nice to be able to have more attachments for reach like making the spartan odst helmet have that flashlight attachment all the other ai odsts have in campaign

New Halo online armour looks really low resolution up close. Even the new player shadows appear lower res. I wonder if it’s a bug?

kevinKoolx are you having a problem with first person view armor when you change your armorer to the new pieces it does not show the new amour in multiplayer in first person view in halo 3 and i have show new amour enabled is this a bug

you know, when you actually hear it being said, you realize how monumental it really is.
I really appreciate their putting in that classic mode toggle. One of my favorite parts of Halo Online was the ability to mod it so I DIDN'T have to see the new armors.
It doesn't return the actual original armours. You won't see the new 343 armours but you still have to deal with the versions of the originals that are butchered to accommodate them and the new under suit that's just retextured to imitate the original.
Halo Online Maps next please. I really wanna play on that Turf remake set in the winter

Diamondback is literally one of my favourite Halo maps, so I've been crossing my fingers hoping Halo Online maps are part of the plan.
Well, they said theyre going to go to season 10 with MCC, so I wouldn't be surprised if they bring over some Halo online maps soon.
Dude there's also a map called Sky Bridge that was finished but never released. Hopefully that can make it in too.
Love the idea of more armors for halo 3 but would be great if the the new armor in halo 3 actually matched the art style like the new armor does in halo reach because it looks like it came straight out of halo 4 which has a completely different art style.
Luckily, there is a toggle, so we don’t have to see the new armor if we don’t want to.
My computer have died 1 day before the new update and 1 day after I bought game pass, my dissapoinment is immeasurable and my year is ruined

@Iderus Namamee nothing but agreements here even so all the speculation about elites in infinite the lack of elite stuff tells me that elites probably wont be back in infinite as playable characters

I feel like it's more neglection than being left in the dark so ehhh but hey what do I know I'm just a guy who also thinks the armor effects in reach should be toned up for elites given their larger size because right now it's kinda hard to tell if an elite has a armor effect on at the moment
Yes hopefully in infinite also as well allowing us to choose which elite the originals or their subspecies

Hopefully we see a plethora of elite content in the future, spartan gameplay was only (originally) HALF the mix for Halo 3 and Halo 2! Especially with Halo Online elite armors, and potentially using Halo 2 elite armor from the campaign in multiplayer!

Say what you want about 343. But they are willing do post launch content years after initional release. Massive respect.
No massive respect for them, they can’t even make a good game by themselves, instead they’re milking a game to death from 2007.
@@johnnysanchez574 Yeah nothing really says "milking a game to death" by updating it with content you have to earn in-game, supporting a game that was effectivly barren by 2014 and not through microtransactions like so many other games these days. Dude if you don't like the new games that's fine, but not giving credit where credit is due is kind of dickish.

I would add a separate toggle for the new _Halo: Online_ armor in the future so we can continue using the _Halo 3_ weapon and vehicle skins, even if we don't like the new armor.

It is so weird seeing Halo 3 Spartans with Halo 4 armor. But I'm really happy that they added more customization. Really hope they will do something with Halo 2 Anniversary customisation soon.

That's really good to hear, I don't think elites need a whole seasons dedicated to them since they're the minority in multiplayer but I'm excited that we might be getting something.
@@CardinalHues Agreed, I'm personally not against a season dedicated to elites, I just imagine the majority who don't use elites would be pretty unhappy about it.

@@HZLTS we don't all have 3 more friends to play the game with, I tried to LFG back when you could get Endure and Bug Splattered Buck without the helmet and it was a goddamn nightmare, everyone I played with just died at the beginning leaving us with no lives and one less player.
But please, if you don't mind, tell me how the seasonal challenges being constant for everyone to do anytime has a negative impact on you.
Lmao please stfu. Timed challenges encourage players to boot up the game asap and complete them, further helping the game keep a consistent population.
@@Manas_Choudhary no they don't, I don't know anyone who plays the game that logs on at the start of the season to do the Seasonal Challenges. The ones that award points to unlock things in the Battle Pass, yeah, but the ones that award cosmetic things? Not really, you either were going to play Halo 4 MP or you weren't, a DMR skin isn't gonna make you. I didn't play more than a couple of matches of ODST Firefight when Endure was the seasonal challenge, but my friends and I still log almost daily because the rest of the game is fun to play.
@@gonnsolo8506 Actually, I am thinking about logging on just to get the Mister Chief helmet. Will I stay logged on? I dunno. But It's a reason to boot up Halo. Besides, it kind of reminds me of games like Runescape, where you could get a unique item from an event that would never be obtainable again. It's kind of cool.

They mentioned somenwhere their plan is to have a new season every 2 months, ending off with a Season 10 shortly before Halo Infinite drops in November
