Also the top ring is fitted to the bag to suit by the owner..so the bag curve can sit further forward snuggly against the tank without a gap - so no wobble!!
Awesome compartment. I am struggling with my own decision. Initially I was thinking about the GS but now I'm starting to consider the Daypack one.
Adam, thanks for the tank bag comparison, I have a Golf R and a GS living in Newmarket NH with in-laws in SF :)
Nice. small world! Glad this was helpful. I need to do a follow up video as I now have a few more tank bags that can be compared.
All their bags come with the chord extension with popper as standard..yours must have been missing! Your friend didn't make it!
Agree. The Daypack is missing the extension that buttons to the front of the bag to allows the owner to release the lock. The City bag is the one that is correct.
@@RichardReeve_K1W1 The extension isn't missing. I can see it looped around the carrying handle at the front of the bag. That's the way mine came. Just needs to be un-looped from the handle and re-looped to the wire pull cable.
@@canuck678 "its behind youuuuu!!!" pantomime moment lol
Hello, I was wondering if a Dlsr camera with 18-200 zoom + Gopro stuff, batteries and lenses would fit in the daypack? Really hesitate between both.
it would be very tight to fit in daypack
I can fit my Nikon D300 (with grip) and a couple of lenses in my City but that is is a lot of weight up very high and its not something I personally would do if I were riding any great distance. Just because it does fir does not mean it is a good idea to put it in there.
Will either one of them fit a 13" MacBook ?
I have a 15. It definitely won't fit in the City. a 13" may work. It'd be really tight. If you dropped the bike, it doesn't offer much protection to a hard edged laptop.
That movement is VERY weird and isn't like that on my (day old) City bag. It's very sturdy on my setup.
I believe that he didn't snap it in completely. I just attached my GS bag to my BMW R1250GS Adventure today. When I first installed it it moved around quite a bit. However, I noticed that it wasn't snapped it completely. Once I snapped it in it doesn't move at all.
