A minute per litterbox. I notified the Guiness World Record organization!

I used to do the exact same thing. I always used the bags the litter came in to dispose of it. I even may still have some of them left somewhere. I do the same with the bags from my bread, toilet paper, kitchen towels. etc. I rarely use garbage bags. In fact, regular garbage bags are too flimsy and weak to hold the heavy litter and tend to fail before you reach the garbage container and you end up spilling it, making a mess.

I pick up extra produce plastic bags every time I go shopping...with one cat it lasts me 3-4 days. I also use empty Lenders bagel bags too. Basically any empty bag I get is reused.

It is interesting to see the cats have certain boxes they prefer going to over others.

I understand New Jersey may put curbs on breathing next.
You can breathe in but will not be allowed to breathe out thus saving the air quality.😉
I thought those bags would last you awhile.
I guess you go through them pretty fast.
I do too with my 2 litter boxes.
I will start stockpiling some for you and send them to you when I can.
I once had 15 cats and we were overwhelmed by the cat odor smell and litter box cleaning was a nightmare.
I did not know about spaying and neutering back then.
More rain came today and it may well rain all the way through the first of February.
My poor Kathy has an injured right knee and needs to go to ER & she is in a lot of pain.
My bronchitis and sinus infection is better but still with me.
I bought a new all metal bed frame and it will be here tomorrow so I will get to get off the floor and will be 18 inches up in the air so I will not have to lift myself up on my 2 bad knees to try to go to the bathroom or to answer the door.
Hopefully the empty box will allow me to finally return the parts for the futon frame I bought that was defective.
If I had thought of looking on AMAZON first I would have saved a lot of pain and cold and coughing nights.
Bed frame with furniture protection plan was $68.
I should have it assembled and ready to sleep on tomorrow night and the cats will have to jump up on it and I can put a kitty bed underneath for Mama Cat and Kitten Cat.

Scoop away is the only acceptable litter according to my cats. Kinda glad cause it's the best clumping and smell and hardly no dust. I tried all different kinds until I found scoop away. I swear I'm not pitching them but it blows my mind how diffrent and how picky cats are about litter

cats are a very picky when it comes to litter. I’ve tried several different kinds that my cats will not use.

To save money and the health of cats, I use hardwood pellets from the hardware store. All natural and costs 10 for a forty pound bag. You will save a ton of money and help the health of your cats

Natural clay litter is healthy for cats.

@@LuckyFerals My guess is she means there's some concern about the dust on their respiratory systems, and ingesting the particles of clay from grooming over time if it doesn't clear their digestive tract. I tried pine pellets and other types. What a mess with multiple cats. I end up always going back to clay scoop.

The NJ bag ban is ridiculous. People just end up buying plastic bags for their small trash cans and litter scoops anyway. It was better to let people repurpose the plastic store bag for these things. Of all the issues in the world, I doubt a state banning plastic bags is going to "save the planet".
I don't mind scooping. What takes my time is sweeping up all the litter tracking that the litter mats don't catch.

yes, it is beyond ridiculous especially when you walk through a supermarket and look at the plastic packaging everywhere.

I’m considering getting a litter robot for my two cats. I am getting older and scooping litter is one of my least favourite things to do.
