Amazing. As a British born Pakistani, I'm so happy to see this and so happy that you asked the question 'what is the main difference between Pakistani and Indian food' because a lot of people don't realise there is a difference. Also, you're right in saying 'Pakistani and Indian food' when it comes to the sweets/desserts as they don't vary that much but the main meals you saw were specifically Pakistani, not Indian. Just thought I'd let you know :)
Thx man
It's Mouth watering
I am from Custom House, London (England). The highest estimated concentration areas of Pakistanis-Londoners are Barking, East Ham, Forest Gate, Ilford, Manor Park, Plaistow, Upton Park. Birmingham, England (Historical Warwickshire) is Lozells. Bradford/Manningham area (Historical Lancashire), Manchester, England (Historical Lanchishire) is Cheetham.
As an Indian, I would say there is a lot of commonality but tasty beef dishes in Pakistani food is different than the south indian beef dishes. My Pakistani friend had me try their food and its very good. Also I believe the taste of only one region in Pakistan which is punjabi is similar to indian food. Never had a chance to try pakistani sindhi, balochi or Pashtun food. I believe there maybe other regional cuisine but in America its hardet to find as we mostly get punjabi regional food from Pakistan. Would be nice to try the other types of pakistani foos.
Nice tour and great to learn of Little Pakistan!
