Now, HAI is definitely not a cover for a sketchy secret organization infiltrating world governments to make everyone buy bricks, but if we were, we would rely on quality topic suggestions to fund our operations. That's because good topics make good videos, and that's why we ask you, the viewer, to suggest your ideas to our suggestion bin: docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfUdlvw6YgU44J8AnM2U_ZvRMyvh_CUM51LYSqF5nYJB9d1-w/viewform?usp=sf_link

Now that I think about it, that would be a really good way for Christianity to keep science, and the worshiping of logic and reason from being a popular religion to overthrow the three monotheistic religions. Get the name and the branding first and absolutely tear it to shreds.

Scientology is making a comeback here in florida and it is Scary, they put out ads for depression support groups and specifically prey on people who are isolated and potentially dealing w mental health issues and they rope you in by pretending to care and be your friend. @@catrybou123 This goes for literally every single religion. It's extremely ironic when people focus on Scientology as 'dangerous' and 'praying on people' when that's not unique to Scientology. They are *all* dangerous to varying degrees and equally pray on people.

There are approximately 25,000 Scientologists and about 20,000 of them live here in Clearwater where I live. The other 5000 are spread around the world with about 4000 in California. There are $100,000,000 100,000 square foot Scientology centers staffed by 10 people in some cities but every time someone who is lost walks in to ask for directions to the train station they punch a clicker adding them to the membership rolls.

  • @CorwinPearson

I was raised by Scientologist parents, but I have since renounced the entire religion. The informational content of this video is very accurate, but the supplemental B-Shots are not, they're just way too 007 style. The language and vocabulary are obviously very different from how the Church of Scientology would describe itself, but every description of Scientology's actions (when taken literally) are truthful in their essence. While this video if stylized in the way RUclips prefers, it's core information is honest and truthful. I know it may be difficult to accept, but the vast majority of the of the world's population considers Scientology to be one of the more dangerous religions in the world. If you are considering leaving the religion of Scientology, I highly recommend it, as a survivor. My life has never been so understandable since I denounced Scientology, albeit, with some dark times.

Theres a couple of quotes attributed to hubbars such as "the easiest way to enslave a man is promise him his freedom" something scientology does in a big way "lets sell them a piece of blue sky" which inspired a book exposing $cientology called A Piece of Blue Sky. And his most famous quote, apparently had several semi-famous wittnesses (who were all part of a writting circle who would drink and play poker at some bar) "the easiest way to earn money is to start your own religion"
Ive probably messed those quotes up a little but thats the jist.

@@georgewilson7432 Chick is very deep in Scientology (I guess along with his wife Gayle Moran, known from Mahavishnu Orchestra). His band Return to Forever and it's song titles are all scientology references. The reason the classic quartet spit up was because Al and Lenny had enough of Scientology. Chick thanks Hubbard in every liner note of his albums. He actually made an album with Hubbard (though I never heard it) and called him "A true Renaissance man". Stanley Clarke left the church but is still a bit positive about it.
Chick also created this studio called Mad Hatter Studio's in LA somewhere in the 80ies (a reference to Alice in Wonderland). He sold it to the Scientology church but sometimes still records there I think.
There is actually a Chick Corea documentary on scientology tv. As far as I know, Chick is still active in scientology and feels like it helped him connect to his audience and finds his style and intrinsic motivation to play. To be fair, while my personal opinion is that it's all bogus and more like a pyramid scheme, I am convinced that it did inspire Chick to do the music he did.
