Draft Survey_Basic Concepts Part 4_ First Trim Correction

How to apply first trim correction or layer correction to obtain TMD that is True Mean Draft which is close to hydrostatic draft.
Correction at 5:29, the sum should be read 5.735 m.

in getting the means of draft. why did you add 6 and divided by 8?

Why TMD is not Hydrostatic draft. Because I see draft in the Hydrostatic Table was built base on ship even keel. Its mean FD = AD = MD = TMD

TMD is hydarft when vessel is at even keel. However once the vessel trims, COF is different than mean value of draft and a trim correction or layering correction is applied. Pls have a look on part video. ruclips.net/video/XIzGrrYn-S4/видео.html

Please explain calculation until get 52.000 m of LCF.. Is it calculation or get from hydrostatic tabel..Please tell me.. thanks a lot

The value of LCF is taken from hydro static table against hydro static draft. Here it is assumed to be 52 m to explain the concept. Thank you for pointing the same.
