Hey Ali, I've been watching and following you for years, and I've always wondered how you remember such long scripts. Do you memorize each one or use any kind of device like a teleprompter, write the script on paper, a board, or anything else to stay on track while recording your videos? I would appreciate your answer. Thanks!
This whole concept of passive income drives me mad because of how fake it is in 99% of cases. "Make money while you sleep with online courses" kind of BS, and then they say that posting Reels 3 times a day, running a YT channel, running ADs, managing sales funnels and providing community services is not a job cuz it's fun so it's considered a passive income. Can we pls normalize doing some work to make money? It's cool to aim for passive income someday, but starting a business with only this goal from the start is a way to burn out and a huge disappointment...
I think that is the whole idea. Keep trying to make something work if does not work try something else then something else and finally something will work. There is never any guarantee of success. The same guy who made this video says that luck is a big factor. Either something works or doesn’t. I still say we should die trying. Because that’s what we do anyway in our life if we actually set goals.
I hear your frustration! The video actually addresses this - Ali portrays passive income as requiring a ton of upfront work before it can become relatively hands-off. The key is managing expectations and being willing to put in the effort consistently for a long period. Not a get-rich-quick scheme at all.
True. I shifting my mindset to more "I have to do work to get money" especially if I am starting out it's only when I have the big bucks I can look into passive income
This is a good example of failing at the first step. The idea is to be consistent and make time until it finally does work. You need to be able to go through many iterations until you finally make it. To be able to say you've tried, is better than sitting back and doing nothing at all - watching the world pass by and you're suddenly at an age where you are very limited in the things you can do. Then you realise, what if I did x, y, z when I was younger, when I had the time, when I had the money, would I still be in this position at this present moment? Or would I have finally achieved freedom that we all so desire?

I did it last week, Im all in and committed to getting better at this everyday (recently got over my fear of adding a face-cam). After being intentional with my upgrades I just keep getting more and more motivation to get better. Im putting more effort into my channel and other small tutoring business, all while working full time and in University. First time watcher and came here to get some more motivation and/or ideas, feels like a genuine video, thanks.
Man, this video is insane! You just broke down everything about starting a business in 43 minutes-it’s the best thing I’ve ever seen on the topic. I kind of feel like Harry in your example, except I started my RUclips channel 4 years ago and kept going with it. Now that I’m finishing college and college tennis, I’m trying to figure out how to build passive income and turn this into a legit career. Thanks for dropping this, it’s a total game-changer!
ali i started journaling cause of you and it changed my life, so I made an AI journal template on notion, and made $300 so far, and the free one got featured 🙌
That's amazing, so happy to hear the journaling advice helped spark a productive new income stream for you! $300 is a great start, and getting featured is huge for visibility. Love seeing practical examples like this of turning advice into action. You should be proud! 🥳 What's next for expanding the journal template business?
Totally agree, building a following is and has always been the hardest part. Staying consistent when everything seems not to be working is hard, hopefully it all works out someday
I'm 8 months into my "hobby business," and while I take it seriously, having fun is my top priority. Every day is about improvement and testing - I believe the first year should be dedicated to figuring out what works. There are moments that feel super rewarding - I didn’t expect to make any money, but I already have (under €200, but it feels huge to me). That said, it can also get really frustrating when algorithms or audiences just don’t click/watch, even when I’m experimenting and know why it’s happening. In these 8 months, I’ve gathered a lot of stats and insights about what works and what doesn’t. If you’re just starting, don’t stress too much. Focus on trying things out, seeing what sticks, and learning from the process. Also, your videos helped me through some really tough times, Ali, so thank you for that!
Question here👋. I have a 3-fund portfolio consisting of 33% S&P, 33% Total Stock, and 33% International. Seeking complete growth, I shifted to 100% stocks. However, I worry that S&P 500 and TSM overlap too much. Lately, I've been in the red for a month, and it's taking a toll on me. As someone who works hard for their money, investing anxieties are overwhelming. I'm torn between selling everything and waiting it out.
Breathe, relax, and refocus: market ups and downs are just part of the journey. Also, consider hiring a financial advisor - expert guidance can bring much-needed calm and clarity.
A lot of folks downplay the role of advisor until being burnt by their own emotions. I remember couple summers back, after my lengthy divorce, I needed a good boost to help my business stay afloat, hence I researched for licensed advisors and came across someone of utmost qualifications. She's helped grow my reserve notwithstanding inflation, from $275k to $850k.
How can one find a verifiable financial planner? I would not mind looking up the professional that helped you. I will be retiring in two years and I might need some management on my much larger portfolio. Don't want to take any chances.
Eleanor Kate Fenn is the licensed fiduciary I use. Just research the name. You’d find necessary details to work with a correspondence to set up an appointment..
Thank you for this tip. it was easy to find your coach. Did my due diligence on her before scheduling a phone call with her. She seems proficient considering her résumé.
I've watched a lot of these passive income videos and I gotta say this is one of the best, most realistic ones I've ever seen. I've finally taken the steps earlier this fall to get my business going and literally this whole video until the last chapter is 100% accurate about the journey it takes just to get something started!! Even though I've already taken the steps this video was super motivating and it makes me more excited to keep putting one foot in front of the other and simply enjoying the journey :D
Same here. I’ve been looking into things like real estate or dividend stocks. I know people make a lot of money off them with minimal effort once they’re set up, but it’s hard to know where to start.
I get you both. Actually, my portfolio has been booming lately, and it’s all thanks to Glenn Howard Chesterr, my financial advisor. He really helped me diversify and set up some solid passive income strategies. He made sure I didn’t just dump money into random stocks or risky ventures.
Well, first, he helped me balance my investments-some in real estate, some in dividend-paying stocks, and even some in index funds. The key, he said, was having multiple income streams that don't require me to constantly be checking or managing everything. It’s been paying off, and I barely have to do anything. Just set it and forget it, you know?
I am a medical doctor. At some point in my life, I got distracted by the idea of passive income and (almost) left my profession. After wasting 10 years of my life in the quest of having a passive income doing things that I had no clue about, I am writing this for you. It was a huge blunder that caused irreparable damage to my life. Admittedly, I made mistakes 1-I enter into a world of which I have no knowledge. I entered into digital wilderness and lost. 2-If I wasn't seeing results after a few months, I'd get easily distracted by the next exciting opportunity, falling prey to what they call 'shiny object syndrome'. If I could go back in time, here's what I'd do differently: I would never leave the coolest profession that I had. If at all I had to do it, I would carefully select a skill, spend 2-3 years focused on it, and master it to the point where people come to me for my expertise.
I've done it. My first step but I know I'm opening many doors with small steps. A small step of a long adventure with full of freedom. Thank you Ali, it's always great listening to you.
Ali, I am 15 and your videos have massively helped me. I just got your book three days ago and I'm almost already done with it, it is AMAZING. I highly recommend it. This year I started doing pet portraits and it has now turned into a full art business. I am doing pet portrait commissions and selling prints of my art at a local shop. I just got my website up, while it's hard to say how much I'm really making at this point because I'm investing it back into the business, it has grown at a crazy rate. At the same time I'm home schooled and getting ready to apply to my dream college next year majoring in environmental science. 😝 Where I once struggled with overwhelm and confusion, I now know exactly what I want to do and how. I just finished setting my NICE goals for this year and I actually feel surprised by how simple and relatively easy it all seems. Balancing school, my business, applying to college, dog training, fitness, and rock climbing doesn't feel like too much. Thank you for everything! I listen to your videos almost every eavning while I crochet.🤣
Thank you for the honesty and authenticity of your video. I don’t normally comment on ANY video instagram or wtv. But the clarity and honesty you reflect on showing and explaining the truth of how hard can be or the explicit true that may take years I feel is liberating. Not because it gives us an excuse to give up but because it give us the opportunity to look to a project for what it is. This, in a world where everyone wants to sell you fast false happiness is very revitalizing. Gracias
Ali never has any mind blowing revelations to share but the way he sincerely conveys & references the knowledge he has gathered hits me in a way few other motivational speakers have. I love the ending where he emphasizes the years of failed attempts or lack of meaningful feedback that make continuing to endure so difficult.
The challenge I find is that I tend to be flat out at my job for a minimum of 40hrs per week and often longer. It is mentally taxing work and I find it a real struggle to chew through my non-job time to do the activities to effectively build some sort of business. It’s not hard to do it for a short time, but most of these passive income ideas take long term, consistent work to become reality before they can become passive income. Ali mentions his book, but it took him 4 years to write it. That is potentially 4 years of work in addition to a full time job. And then there will be a lag (unless you already have an audience) and lots of work to market and sell the book to get it visible to the world. It often sounds “easy” on these videos but is really hard yakka in reality.
Asked a couple of friends and my wife. The feeling I had was mostly fear, fear of the response to be negative or something. But it felt good getting the positive responses and also getting confirmation of what I was thinking of starting.
At 15:21 you point to a book that is meant to be posted in the corner of your video, but it isn’t, and it almost never is when you do that. I can definitely find the book without the link or the picture, but it seems like you’ve got a gap in your video processing that those links usually are not present. Which of course I only notice because I watch and otherwise enjoy every video! 😊 + 🎉 I just got to the end of the video and see that the link for the next one you mentioned is there!
The most relevant thing for not being consistent is the uncertainty of reaching the goal… this is the reason we should enjoy the process rather than the result.
I've come to realise that passive income isn't my realistic aim... it's semi-passive income. With all of the work I've been doing to build an online income stream through selling digital products, books and affiliate income the more I put in, the more I get out. It also seems to compound, so over time the results are increasing. I think if I let it be 'passive', over time it would just dwindle downwards. So, for me, it's all about building more!
I have been in the market since 2023, I have a total of 157 thousand USD, with my 12 thousand invested in Bitcoin ETFs and other dividend income I am very grateful for all the knowledge and information you have given me.🎉
Hi Ali, I just wanted to thank you and let you know that I am at the very bottom of the passive income ladder and have been watching your videos religiously since the start of the year as very helpful guide to become successful. I watch around 2 videos a day and get some work done hopefully in the right direction. I don't have much experience but learning (with mostly your help) am planning my first You Tube as we speak. I love how you explain such on the videos.I paid particular attention to how you explained finding your Niche.I'm working on it my friend and hopefully you see me up here one day.
I initially only texted a few friends, because I was nervous about being negatively judged. But that quickly faded as they began to respond. I had to overcome the scripts we’re taught to embrace when reaching beyond what’s normative, but once I did, this activity was incredibly empowering. Thank you for the idea and encouragement to try. I’ve got a bunch of ideas now 🤓
Your book is on my list to get this year. I have a goal to read 12 books this year, not necessarily non-fiction. I am about to start truck driving. I plan to take part of that money and build my emergency fund, pay off all my debt - less than $8,000, put a good chunk into investing, and starting businesses this year.
This is a great video! I loved the example showing how you helped Harry come up with his business idea. In fact, it made me realize I had my own idea I could start. I can definitely relate to the end result where Harry started then stopped - putting in effort for a very long time without seeing a result can be demotivating. Anyway, thanks for the video! I signed up for the productivity workshop in January, hoping to be inspired by surrounding myself with others doing the same thing. See you there!
Great video, Ali. I especially like the bit at around 24:30 because it was super eye-opening in showing us how many different circles and groups we are part of. Thank you :)
Arrrgh Harry! I was gunning for you 😂 Fantastic video thank you. I was laid off in September and decided to finally give my ideas a go. 3 months on I’ve not made a penny but I have plenty more ideas. I want to build an app but learning how seems too hard 🤦♀️ I’ve got an idea for a non fiction book but my 1st attempts at that looked bad and I didn’t know how to proceed. I did ask friends what I was good at, what they could see me doing, and I’m doing it (graphic design) - pretty aggressively. I have an Etsy shop, instagram, RUclips, on Upwork everyday etc etc but…nothing yet. If only I had Harry’s salary 😂😢 I’ve got a job starting in January, I can’t go on without a salary (2 hungry kids!) so I’m not sure if I’ll carry on or not.
Keep trying.. don’t give up.. I have had sooooo many failures and proud of each one of them.. they’ve all taught me things I would have never learned on my own..
Instead of using a commercial Lawyer as an example, can you do the same video but for someone with a family who works in low end hospitality perchance? Maybe fast food? That might be a more inspiring starting point.
@@lucasasselmeier7825 just pointing out that a commercial lawyer may be a little bit hard to relate to for most people who actually want to make more money.
My friend happens to be a commercial lawyer but if I have a similar conversation with someone working in fast food I’ll definitely turn it into a video :)
Love this video! So honest in confirming there is no quick passive income. I started building an audience two months ago posting on LinkedIn 5 days a week and yes it's not easy but I also enjoy writing and can already see my network growing. Not fast but a LOT faster than before. Thanks for confirming this is normal and for the motivation ❤
This video is a motivational and helpful resource for those who want to understand the creation of passive income and realize that it is not a "get-rich-quick scheme." It provides practical steps for getting started, both in terms of building a business and investing. I believe the material could be made more comprehensive by dedicating more attention to risk management, inner psychology, local market specifics, and income diversification. For viewers who are ready to take responsibility for their financial freedom, the video serves as an excellent starting point and a source of inspiration.
is no one gunma talk about "The Psychology of Money" Book. I highly recommend. It really changed my life about financial decisions, managing finances etc..❤
Ali, the fact is that you are just talented in so many ways that you have the ability to do many things. Thank you for being you.. I've learned more than I can even express.
I finished watching the video and my heart was so full of gratitude and love towards Ali, for real. I appreciate so much your honesty and your way of telling the hard facts. So thank you for everything Ali, love from Italy
I can relate so much to the end of the video about how rough it is in the beginning of the J-Curve. It takes some real discipline and crazy optimism to keep building something up for months/ years without making any money 🥵 To all of you, who are at this same point just like me: Keep Grinding! Keep up the confidence! 💪
I paused your video and sent a text to my closest friends. It did feel weird at first, but I just did it - and now I await their response! The key I’m learning is - just. Take. Action!
You got it Kevin! That first tiny step of reaching out can be so hard to take, but is crucial for getting momentum. Love that you pushed through the awkwardness and just did it. 💪 That's the kind of small consistent action that leads to big things over time. Wishing you all the best as you keep taking more steps forward!
Harry's story underscores the importance of having not just a goal (£10k/month in his case) but also a structured action plan to achieve it. Setting milestones, like £1k/month first, could make the process feel less overwhelming.
I could listen to you all day all week without getting tired, I love your work Mr Ali. would love to be just like you someday. keep up the good work. Also, you've earned a subscription here
Hi Ali, i have been a very silent watcher here on your channel and by far I would say this video is so amazing and so relatable thank you, sending you a huge cyber hug 🤗 thank you
Good one Ali. Keen follower. I’ve just purchased your feel good productivity and started. I’m building my own business and audience at the moment and J curve is what the model I’m after to build products shortly
Great video! Especially the last 5 minutes. I always wondered if those who succeed on RUclips saw "signals of interest" in the beginning, and that's what kept them motivated. Or did they experience zero interest for 2 years, and then it took off.
On a side note one of my fave videos of yours is when you interviewed the guy in Monaco. If you could do more of those types of videos it would be great.
Hi Ali, one of my life mentors, even though you don't know me, I've been watching your content (I usually choose content that should be helpful to me) for the past 1 year, over 1 year perhaps. I'm not a native English speaker, but you know, a bunch of AI and useful tools have been my supporters and teachers to help me communicate on the Internet. Your honest advice is indeed very helpful to understand life (um, honestly, I sometimes feel that your speaking speed is fast for me to understand Haha, but also I could feel, know that you are using easy words to understand!). By the way, it's end-of-year season. May this season bring joy and warmth to you and your loved ones. Please say hello to your friend Harry!
Thank you Ali! This will really go along way in keeping me motivated despite years of leg dragging and procrastination in my present struggle to creating passive income.
The main takeaway for me is in the end making money is hard and making passive income is harder. You have to make that active choice to put in the time and effort to create that product/ service/ audience. The only reason you put in this effort is that you hope to achieve the freedom to chart your own path with something you built on your own.
I agree winning the work I.e. sales and marketing is the hardest part of earning passive income. I would add though that it’s money to fund the marketing that is the hardest part.
Hey Ali! can you make a video on what aspects of someone's life should someone start improving first? For example should someone start with improving their sleep before creating systems of productivity.
Totally unrelated, but I’m a big fan of Ali Abdaal. I had paused watching his videos for a while since I was in execution mode, so you can imagine my surprise when he mentioned his "wife." The last time I watched him, he was still on his journey to find a partner. 😱😱😱
I have a PT business now and learning about sales and marketing to make the move to FT and financial freedom. But to be honest, as an (extreme) introvert, the idea of selling things and winning the work internally makes me want to run away screaming. So, I'm trying to work out strategies and/or a system that works for introverted me without getting the feeling that I need to be a peddler.
I would totally recommend watching the similar video to this one from last year Similar story and concepts, but I loved the flow from last years video too! Super helpful Thanks Ali & Team for the content!
Hey Ali … your audio needs some work… it’s sounding too harsh … i watched it on tv with 5.1 audio system and on i phone too … on both it was not an audio which someone would like to listen too…do see if its too much processed or too much of noise cancellation done … its very robotic and harsh … all the best. Cheers
I felt like I now must take action because someone knows that I’m thinking about it , it’s putting some pressure but I guess it’s also motivating to actually do the things . If that makes sense
Amazing video, very insightful to think about products and content from the "in the red" perspective. But damn, what a roast on Harry! Hope he gets up and side hustling from the service angle as you suggested.
Very well explained Ali. It is very useful and so motivating. I have been watching your videos for a while now. I am a lecturer in Structural Engineering in the UK. Keep it up!
This video truly gave me some perspective about the Jcurve cause I was creating content consistently for about a year and didn’t see any results. It really affected me. Started off again a year later and gave up. But I am absolutely ready to get back to doing RUclips and writing in my newsletter. I just have to be consistent. Whether it’s for 2 years. Thank you Ali.
I'm in an odd situation, I literally just turned 18, and my grandfather recently passed away, and my inheritance from him was $100K. I don't really need to buy a car as I drive my dad's other car that he doesn't use. I don't have any clue what I'm supposed to do with this money. I mean as far as university goes, I'm studying political science, I want to pursue law, but the funds for that aren't an issue as my parents are paying for my tuition. I quite literally just have $100K sitting in my savings, and I'm stuck watching videos trying to figure out what I should do. I live in Houston, with my parents, I don't really have any expenses as my parents take care of everything, so I'm not even using any of that $100K. Like do you have ANY advice at all what I should be doing with my money?
I am one of the 71% that has wanted to start a bussiness. Yesterday a did contact a long time friend about this. We discusses what I am good at what to name it amd how to win the work (we called it attract customers) Goal is to have RUclips account with 1st video posted and website running by the last week of January.
Is it dustier in Hong Kong? You never used to have dust on your camera lens or sensor but have in the last couple of videos you've shot in Hong Kong! And great vid as usual!
Thank God for this video. I’ve been looking to learn to automate. I create content, write, have digital products and just wrote a couple of books and ebooks that I’m publishing in the next week. Any advise on where to self publish? Or best marketing practices.

I’m a few minutes into the video, and it is aligned with my goals for 2025. I’m looking forward to generating passive income. Thanks Ali!
I am here to support everyone trying to get there.

I can’t believe how many people still think passive income is just 'easy money' without effort. Glad this video cleared that up!
It still ain’t punching a clock.

I have been blessed with $85,000 every 12 weeks!! I can now buy anything and also support my family and work for more. God bless Sophie Rogerz.
If I may ask, how do you manage to earn so much? What are your strategies?
Dive into the digital market is indeed advisable, but it requires expert guidance, and with Mrs. Sophie Rogerz, you can't go wrong
How? I would appreciate if you could show me her information.
I was introduced to her by a friend. My husband and I earned from her months ago and was able to build our own house.
Sophie Rogerz must be a very good person, given her background in the church.
ali i started journaling cause of you and it changed my life, so I made an AI journal template on notion, and made $300 so far, and the free one got featured 🙌

Even though I've already taken the steps this video was super motivating and it makes me more excited to keep putting one foot in front of the other and simply enjoying the journey :D
I've been thinking about how to create some passive income streams. I’ve got a decent side hustle going, but I want to make my money work for me more.
@@ChristianJacquet9 Interesting! what kind of strategies did Glenn help you with?
Well, first, he helped me balance my investments-some in real estate, some in dividend-paying stocks, and even some in index funds. The key, he said, was having multiple income streams that don't require me to constantly be checking or managing everything. It’s been paying off, and I barely have to do anything. Just set it and forget it, you know?
That sounds exactly like what I need. I feel like I’ve been spinning my wheels trying to figure it out. But this sounds like a game-changer.
Admittedly, I made mistakes
1-I enter into a world of which I have no knowledge. I entered into digital wilderness and lost.
2-If I wasn't seeing results after a few months, I'd get easily distracted by the next exciting opportunity, falling prey to what they call 'shiny object syndrome'.
If I could go back in time, here's what I'd do differently:
I would never leave the coolest profession that I had.
If at all I had to do it, I would carefully select a skill, spend 2-3 years focused on it, and master it to the point where people come to me for my expertise.
Salam, I hope this year will be a blessed year for you and all of us… me too I just want to star at one point and focus on it
Best of luck ❤
@@Now8080 Thank you and happy new year
I've done it. My first step but I know I'm opening many doors with small steps. A small step of a long adventure with full of freedom. Thank you Ali, it's always great listening to you.
The fact that nobody talks about the book Matrix Golden Cashflow Tactics, speaks volumes why people dont earn a lot of money..
I can’t find the book anywhere!! do you know where I can find it? Precciate it
Ali, I am 15 and your videos have massively helped me. 😝
Where I once struggled with overwhelm and confusion, I now know exactly what I want to do and how.
You just put words to things I've been feeling but didn't have a clear roadmap for. This was very valuable.
Ah ha, I did the challenge @ 21:12 😅
At 15:21 you point to a book that is meant to be posted in the corner of your video, but it isn’t, and it almost never is when you do that. I can definitely find the book without the link or the picture, but it seems like you’ve got a gap in your video processing that those links usually are not present. Which of course I only notice because I watch and otherwise enjoy every video! 😊 + 🎉 I just got to the end of the video and see that the link for the next one you mentioned is there!
Oh whoops good point thanks!
I have been in the market since 2023, I have a total of 157 thousand USD, with my 12 thousand invested in Bitcoin ETFs and other dividend income I am very grateful for all the knowledge and information you have given me.🎉
HOW!! I know it is possible, I would appreciate it if you could show me how to do it.
It is advisable to seek professional guidance when creating a strong financial portfolio due to its complexity.
alexandra kate financials is a very legitimate and competent woman, her method works like magic, I continue to win with her strategies.
Her teachings are so financially educational that I have learned a lot from her and I am grateful to her professional guidance.
I think believing that I could do it alone has been the main reason I keep losing.
I feel like Harry's chosen "product" has more of a customer base/audience than is immediately obvious. Good for him!
Thank you :)
p.s. see you on the 4th ;)
Thanks Ali, the last 10 minutes are the key… CONSISTENCY is EVERYTHING
Remake a 40 minute video to change the example is a stretch
100%
@@lucasasselmeier7825 just pointing out that a commercial lawyer may be a little bit hard to relate to for most people who actually want to make more money.
My friend happens to be a commercial lawyer but if I have a similar conversation with someone working in fast food I’ll definitely turn it into a video :)
I’d love to hear how some of you are planning to implement Ali’s strategies to generate your own passive income. Let’s do this family!👌🏿
One day I’ll be a person with the freedom I want
And I’ll come back here to thank you as a part of that journey Ali
Harry looks awfully like Francesco from Tool Finder.
This is the best lesson I saw on youtube for the past 3 years! Thank you
Dividends are the way to go. Literally one of the only true fully passive forms of income.
100%. It's really cool to see the power of compound interest once you build a decent portfolio that spits off cash every quarter.
is no one gunma talk about "The Psychology of Money" Book. I highly recommend. It really changed my life about financial decisions, managing finances etc..❤
But it’s all about taking actions! Just Reading books doesn’t make any difference
Ali, the fact is that you are just talented in so many ways that you have the ability to do many things. Thank you for being you.. I've learned more than I can even express.
When you kept saying Harry with your wild hair and glasses, I felt like I was watching Harry Potter give himself a stern talking to 😂
I finished watching the video and my heart was so full of gratitude and love towards Ali, for real. I appreciate so much your honesty and your way of telling the hard facts. So thank you for everything Ali, love from Italy
I can relate so much to the end of the video about how rough it is in the beginning of the J-Curve.
It takes some real discipline and crazy optimism to keep building something up for months/ years without making any money 🥵
To all of you, who are at this same point just like me: Keep Grinding! Keep up the confidence! 💪
The wrist wear matching the markers is a nice touch 🎨
You just expressed everything I've been feeling but couldn't quite put into words. This was incredibly insightful.
Can you please keep making these long ‘My honest advice’ videos, they’re very helpful. Thanks
Harry's story underscores the importance of having not just a goal (£10k/month in his case) but also a structured action plan to achieve it. Setting milestones, like £1k/month first, could make the process feel less overwhelming.
Along with consistency we need motivation but we can only get it when get the response from audience! It’s really long process…
If you could do more of those types of videos it would be great.
harry’s story/-ending was exactly what I needed and at exactly the right time. THANK YOU!
Thank you Ali! Happy New Year and Congrats on your wedding! ❤
I texted one of my friends. I feel good that i didn't procrastinate this time. Thank you for the advice!!
Keep it up small creator ! Nothing good comes easy
Hello Ali! I watched your “How writing online made me a millionaire,” and it motivated me to start my own writing blog. 😄
Thank you Ali! This will really go along way in keeping me motivated despite years of leg dragging and procrastination in my present struggle to creating passive income.
I really love the direction this channel is taking
The main takeaway for me is in the end making money is hard and making passive income is harder. You have to make that active choice to put in the time and effort to create that product/ service/ audience. The only reason you put in this effort is that you hope to achieve the freedom to chart your own path with something you built on your own.
Thanks as always Ali. Have a Blessed 2025
I agree winning the work I.e. sales and marketing is the hardest part of earning passive income. I would add though that it’s money to fund the marketing that is the hardest part.
Hey Ali! can you make a video on what aspects of someone's life should someone start improving first?
For example should someone start with improving their sleep before creating systems of productivity.
make is actually pretty good. i used it for a client project and it was so simple to set up and get working
18:51 "Doing the work" vs. "Winning the work"
You’re an inspiration to me. I love the long form content. Keep it coming- thanks again
I would totally recommend watching the similar video to this one from last year
Similar story and concepts, but I loved the flow from last years video too! Super helpful
Thanks Ali & Team for the content!
It felt good! My friend reminded me of an old business idea I had - which was kinda validating since I'd almost forgotten about it
Hey Ali … your audio needs some work… it’s sounding too harsh … i watched it on tv with 5.1 audio system and on i phone too … on both it was not an audio which someone would like to listen too…do see if its too much processed or too much of noise cancellation done … its very robotic and harsh … all the best. Cheers
The real meaning of “passive income” is leverage… do something where the results are disconnected from the time
Just Incorporated my business in December ready to get to work from 1st January 2025! LFG!!
Hope Harry's gonna see this vid and finally become consistent. God knows how many men need that emotional intelligence :)
3 views and 5 dislikes. 😂😢. I felt that bro. At least now you are on top of your game. Am happy for you.
I felt like I now must take action because someone knows that I’m thinking about it , it’s putting some pressure but I guess it’s also motivating to actually do the things . If that makes sense
i finaly opned my youtube channel 🌸🌺 all because of you ali thank you so much 🥰
Good advice tbh thank you for this video
Thank you, I am someone who is looking for this video for a long time
Amazing video, very insightful to think about products and content from the "in the red" perspective. But damn, what a roast on Harry! Hope he gets up and side hustling from the service angle as you suggested.
Ravenclaws rock! Can’t get over that poster on your wall!
I was told I would be good in a service based business, and where I don't have to deal with customers directly since I am an empathetic person 😊
You just put words to things I've been searching . This was very valuable.
We discusses what I am good at what to name it amd how to win the work (we called it attract customers) Goal is to have RUclips account with 1st video posted and website running by the last week of January.
loved how thorough this was! thank you!
Is it dustier in Hong Kong? You never used to have dust on your camera lens or sensor but have in the last couple of videos you've shot in Hong Kong!
And great vid as usual!
i see why this guy has so many subscribers, this is a fantastic video
It feels liberating.
Like the song Shackles - Mary Mary.
Thank God for this video. I’ve been looking to learn to automate. I create content, write, have digital products and just wrote a couple of books and ebooks that I’m publishing in the next week. Any advise on where to self publish? Or best marketing practices.
