I can watch this and realise my every need for fuel drag racing can be satisfied by Nostalgia Drag Racing. AA/FA fits nicely into the genre and with that and 1320 feet + shutdown i don't even care if the big "stars" are running high 3 second times in 1,000 ft. I even see some of the names from back in the 70's and 80's. Quarter Pounder, Fred Farndon etc. and i know many others participate. I remember when funny cars had names rather than just a corporate logo.

I wanna be in California in 2018 for this event. I live in Baltimore Md and attended the Nostalgia meet at Maple Grove in 2014. It was nothing compared to this. But was Cool. They are making today's technology work with the old bodies. Love it

Great video, how about that small block chevy based champion racing. Hard to believe they can run with the hemi's but the hemi comes on big in the trap. Thanks for posting, You back Home?

Glad that you got to the march meet,I live in Nrthrn. Indiana about 2,500 miles from Bakersfield never been to the march meet but I have been to Bakersfield, just not during the race. It kind of looked like the L.A. smog got over the mountains and into Bakersfield or was it just cloudy the time you where there? The pollution is soooo bad in L.A. If you come down Interstate 15 by Cajon summit it looks like a lake full of water you cant see past the second high-power electric tower. OK Have a good day.
