I remember this as "The Grasp Game" "In the grasp" was a new rule/concept by the NFL around this time... and that rule, which was made to protect the QB by calling a sack at an earlier stage, actually hurt the offense sometimes. QB's who escaped and threw for a TD or a first down... suddenly... had that play wiped out because the damn Ref called the play "in the grasp". It happened in this game to Pittsburgh at least twice... and maybe even the Bengals once. Terrible rule
Look at this the players don't feel the need to be cheerleaders or officials as they allow the officials signal the first down......today it's all cheerleaders and look what I did😅
