Today we are reviewing a one of the BEST looking Casio watches of 2021!!! seeing this in the store, I just had to take it with me, it really is THAT GOOD!! Casio EFRS108D in black is simple, thin and with a sapphre crystal gives great value for money! I only wish Casio made a more premium version with a better bracelet!!
Enjoy the video!!!

just got this watch recently, its so good , octagon shape looks so distinctive to me . Also love the flash from flat saphire and frame . The seconds arrow is precise in mine
What a great video of what people SHOULD be calling a *Casioak* , not the GA2100, which looks NOTHING like a royal oak.
This, i must admit looks rather nice, even nicer than the ga2100/2110 models, though it seems a bit too small for me.
Would look perfect in a 42mm - 44mm size.
i have this since late last year. i have about 6.75 inch to 7 inch wrist. this looks rather large actually on my wrist. dont forget. it dont have a dive bezel so the dial by itself already looks big. same with some vintage dress style GS and KS seiko that have basically just a huge dial and essentially nothing else on the watch case. so even 35 or 36mm looks huge. e.g. the 1st model of GS and KS (they basically look the same, just the GS looks even more refined )
39mm sounds about perfect to me.
The lume is still 100% casio 😁 really cant understand why casio does not improve their lume.
Casio has great lume, on Oceanus 😂 😂
I got my EFR-S108D back in July, the white dial version. It really looks stunning in person, perhaps nicer than on photos, in videos, the thinness is incredible, but I also agree with the negatives in the review. The second hand is all over the place, that's my biggest gripe, and the bracelet does feel a little cheap while looking okay. I'd love to try it on different straps, but as it's integrated, the chances of that are slim to none, I did some looking around for something that could fit, but gave up. Also a screw-down crown would be nice. Anyway, it's still a great watch for the price, paying hommage to Gerald Genta very tastefully, if one's okay with the integrated bracelet, should just go for it!
Thank you for the review. Surprised at the second hand not hitting the marker…I also looked at this because of the sapphire, but ultimately wanted something a little extra and got the Oceanus T200. No regrets on that purchase and would certainly consider future Edifice models. I like the Tough Movement and Solar options I see in them (sapphire too).
Quite a stunning watch! I really enjoy the slimness and overall polishing/finishing on the watch
i bought this about 1 year ago.... this isn't launched in 2021 but 2020 i reckon .... the watch is very light and very easy and comfy to wear. and looks great too . i eventually regretted and bought the White dial version of the same watch... will resell this black gold version soon.... i too lazy and too busy over 2021.
As a rule, under 300 dollars you won’t find a quartz/solar movement that has second hand alignment correction built into it. That’s why i am a huge fan of oceanus. The t200s is great and has a real luxury feel to it - zero corners cut. Edifice is good for it’s price though, i own a solar chronograph and very happy with it
Very nice watch! The seconds hand alignment is probably unacceptable! Casio should have better quality control before sending the watch from the factory line!
Nice and honest watch. I would like see you reviewing an Oceanus !!!!
I always enjoy your videos, and at least a couple of my watch-buying decisions were influenced by them. I don't know yet if I'll be picking this one up, but it is a possibility. I do already own a GA2100 and several other G-Shocks.
Love how thin this watch is. Not the bezel though, as i'm not a fan of AP. But, if Casio makes this on solar, i would think it over, twice, even... thrice!!! LOL
Thanks mate, be well.
Looks great for slimmer wrists/builds. Maybe not first choice for larger men
Honestly have nothing against those types of bracelets properly because they are some of the most comfortable ones to wear.
Exactly. Solid bracelets can be too heavy to be truly comfortable....
Every other year I pore over the Edifice offerings looking for something interesting. If anything I might get a EVF-110 variant. 38MM ! The EVF-100 are larger but they gave up trying to sell the EVF-110 as a ladies' watch; they're now "unisex". A bit of an Aqua Terra vibe.
I went down the rabbit hole 2 years ago of looking at various North American and European models but never picked one. Today I only see about 3 models.
Beautiful watch ⌚ 👌 and for the price amazing
Check out the white dial version, it looks even better in my opinion.
That's a piece of art
I'd be more interested in quartz watches if the seconds hand more consistently hit all the markers. However, I've personally not seen a watch that actually achieves this feat. Maybe I'm too OCD about it, but it really drives me nuts when they don't align so I stay away from quartz.
You need to get a watch that senses and trims the second hand. Any quartz watch with perpetual calendar or atomic sync probably has that. An Oceanus or PCAT should hit the marks perfectly, and adjust imperceptably if they drift.
@@lookatwrist Thanks for the heads up! I'll take a look at those. I'm kind of new getting into watches so I'm sure there are some good options out there waiting for me to discover. :)
@@TheMNbassHunter Higher end Casios and Citizens are very good at this sort of thing, especially their satellite and radio sync models
There's a bit of a paradox here, watches assembled automatically by robots usually have the hands hitting the markers, but manually they dont
Grand seiko 9f caliber does exactly that
Nice review. Where can I buy this?
Excellent review as always!
Fantastic watch for the price
I like the over all feel of the watch however there is to much writing on the face for my taste. Thanks again.
It's too bad casio lume is so weak, or I'd consider more of these kinds of offerings in the edifice line.
Stunng timepiece, great prize. 👍
Elegant casio 👍
I will agree with u when casio put on multiband 6+ solar...for best of the y
I've handled the chronograph version of this, and couldn't agree more. Great case, truly cheap bracelet (below Edifice standards) and unfortunately you're stuck with the bracelet because of the end link design. A real looker, regardless.
Could you change the bracelet for a NATO?
@@Miguel_GM I don't think so - the lugs aren't a standard size.
Is the movement in this watch like those in the G-Shocks when everything aligns perfectly?
I got you. I get quite disappointed when I see a quartz watch whose second hand is not aligned with the markers 😳😰😡
Let's agree, to disagree ... 😉
Still a friend and geek brother.
🍀
Wow! I Hope the sane things you say!Better version I'll pay double for sure
I want one!💛💜😍😍😍
Checkout eqb 1100 the premium casiok. Also the efs s570.
IMO EQB 1100 is at the top, efs s570 is in the middle and this one at the bottom among these 3.
But it's an ugly chronograph! 😣
Straight up thought this was a Watchfinder video from the thumbnail and got confused he was doing Casio. I'd love to get my hands on one of these but they're so hard to find!
I'll take that as a compliment as they make the best photography out of all reviewers
The new green one is stunning, where r u?
3:03 again, check eqb1100
It comes with a screw crown?😊
What a great watch for the price!
Sadly, the integrated bracelet kills it for me. I'm a strap guy, and this bracelet seems to be particularly bad :(
Isn't it a possibility to change out the bracelet if you really wanted to?
@@zynifi you need to find a strap adapter to use conventional straps but I don’t think there are any that are made for this watch
Agreed. Would be on my wrist now if not for the integrated bracelet
@@Bryce_C. oh
12mm lug? can you put the normal nato strap to this watch?
I buy an Casio edifice efr-s108d from online not an authorized shop so I didn't get the official warranty now i have some doubt that my watch is not a original one i found something is suspicious outside box there was nothing mentioned about any information inside box there was no user manual or card specifically for this watch there was for another model and in the watch bracelet clasp are not shinning as other, the date are showing in white in my black dial watch. I bought it for around 58 dollar do you think it's a copy product?
Is it low grade sapphire (that’s if there is different grades?)
I'm afraid you picked up a bad example. Mine has no flaws on the dial and the seconds hand hits the markers exactly...buy one! 🙂
One of these built at Pagani Design quality level, I'd seriously buy. And pay well above Pagani pricing of course.
I wouldn't, Pagani design have some serious quality issues with many of their watches, I've got a pd1651 and though it looks nice, its quality is lacking in places where an equivalent priced Casio destroys it in (bezel reliability, time keeping accuracy, dial indices alignment, case machining (amongst many others), they may use better materials, but are certainly not as well made as a cheaper casio.
I don't like the second hand not hitting the mark.
I like this model
coincidently i’m wearing one today
Nice watch
Really whas with all th watch entusiasts and the marker, și what If it is not in point, it's just the seconds hand
Who sells them, Amazon link says out of order. Been trying get this ever since it came out & lucked out.
I have a green one, it’s stunning, where r u?
Where can I buy this
Swisstimehouse
I like day/date (and that date window is too small.)
Not for me, im in love with my Mudmaster :)
Me too.
@@animalplanetsa4 But i need Watch Geek for his "how to video about my gwg-1000-1a3er
Nice looking watch, but I suppose for the price you can't have everything. 👍
Well im happy with my Seiko SUR307P1 also SS case/40mm/saphhire crystal and perfect index hitting/same price ….. :) thats to only reason i will not buy this one (probably :-D)
Meh.. Don't like those screw hats. Obviously they couldn't position them like on Royal Oak because of patents, however I would prefer not having those screws there at all.
🖤⌚
Casio Oceanus t200
👍
If only the bracelet was finished as good as the case, unfortunately the magic ends here... It's almost like an afterthought, a bracelet from an other cheaper watch :/
on cheap watches like this you always have to change the bracelet
I love Casio watches...🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥰
I place no value on "originality". the more original a watch is, the uglier it looks
Odd that Casio decided to put a sapphire crystal on this watch. 🤔
Too bad, it's not available in India..😖

Best looking? No chance! A decent watch, yes!
First like
I feel like I'm the only person that doesn't care for octagonal bezels at all. I just don't understand the hype as it looks plain ugly to me. I like squares OTOH.
Я тоже в симнениии насчёт восьми угольника и заказал 107 с круглым безелем
Bracelet ruins the whole project. 🤷
Hate the logo, hate the name, will never buy.
It’s a beaut mi amigo.
Way way too thin, looks like a mini pancake on the wrist
