Casio EFR-S108D in black is simple, thin and with a sapphre crystal gives great value for money! I only wish Casio made a more premium version with a better bracelet!!

This bracelet is part of the design. Of the case. It isn’t replaceable because it is the watch.

It's truly a stunner. I love mine. Only changes i would make are the bracelet (should be all brushed i think), the crown (screw down preferred), and the lug design (standard 20mm lug width would have allowed for more strap/bracelet options).
But overall, fantastic piece.
I gifted a similar model in a stunning deep blue to my small brother in law. The watch looks really good in person, has a chrono graph look. Only downside is the strap, that is thin and sounds very cheap
It is beautiful indeed, but there is another model, lacking the few cons of this particular piece. I am talking about EFB 108D. The differences are as follows:
1. Solid band
2. Screwed back
3. Slightly bigger size - 45mm case
4. My opinion - a bit better and cleaner design.

Looking forward to the full review. I have one for a while now and I'd say don't over think the bracelet. It's actually fine once it's sized and looks great. The clasp may need a little bend to bring it closer to the bracelet when closed but totally good from a far and very comfortable.
It also wears smaller in real life than it appears on video.

I’ve had this watch for about six months now, I’m still surprised how good it is for the price every time I put it on. I’ve also managed to pick up the silvery white version this week (EFR-S108D-7AVUEF) from Amazon for £80 and it’s equally stunning.

I agree, it's definitely one of the better looking models in a while.. especially the dial
White version of this watch is also a stunner. After couple of years in affordable mechanicals and a bit expensive ones, I am disappointed in them (homages are not for me, inaccuracie is killing me, lack of spare parts and service for them in Zagreb (for Certina)) I am going back to trustee Casio which I wear for last 30 years. Casio will not fail you, that is what I have learned for this time period.

Ja imam Casio star 10 i više godina, sad ga nosi moj otac, ja sad imam Festinu F20515 plave boje, extra sat... Ali Casio koji god da uzmeš služiće kao niko... Pogotovo G Shock modeli....

Great video as always…but I feel its a bit narrow to say that an AP looking Casio cud be the best designed One of 2021…they offer so much more intricate and unique designs. Thats just my thought though.

Looks nice. Casio does folded bracelets better than say, Seiko. My standard Casio Royale is one of my most comfortables watches; haven't even been tempted to get one of the custom leather straps out there.
After trying different Casios, this model is a keeper now in my collection. A lot details for this price, although the steel has not the highest quality. But you can’t have it all for this price.
I’ve got this one. It is a great watch. But I like to consider Edifice as a brand apart from Casio, as I do for G-shock
I've got the white version, its awesome. Only available in Asia, so had to import it.

I have the EFS S570, similar design but solar powered with sapphire crystal, and extra dials. This is my favorite watch

No my friend....Royal Oak is a Royal Oak and Casio is Casio (by the way, that Casio is much more accurate than Royal Oak). Just a nice 2 piece Nato strap and everything will be better a lot....maybe some silver JaysandKays adapter for G-shock and it could be ok. I like solar atomic, cities and all that....basically I've paid almost 1000 USD for a ProTrek with literally everything....and is it worth that money? Well...that's questionable.

I just picked up the new GA2100-1A with the new metal face, and prefer it over this one - it def feels/looks premium. This watch is nice, but looks too plain jane for my taste - however, people might prefer its simplicity/daily.
Looks great! BUT from my experiences the edifice bracelets really suck.

Is it me or that second hand seems like it was set by the Fossil. It jumps slightly of the markings. Nice watch. Just add proper bracelet and size down the case it is quartz it is doable, jumps in price maybe 50 bucks more but they get a best selling model.
All cheap quartz movements have this issue. Chinese and Japanese alike. However in Swiss movements I have experienced the same, except for sweeping second hand quartz movement.

Actually most of Casio and Citizen watches I tried hit the markers perfectly, but on this, it is slightly off which is a shame

Very smart looking watch and very clear crystal. Nice dial texture as well. I agree, will like to see it with a better bracelet. However I do notice the second hand seems to be missing the marker by a bit? Hopefully its just parallax error.
Sadly no, this example was pretty bad at it, which is weird as Casio is usually good at hitting the markers.

I guess they saw the response to the CasiOak and figured they could do a better job than those replacement cases. Too big for my taste, but I like it more than the CasiOak - even with the metal case mod. Nice and thin.
The AP Royal Oak comes in women's sizes (down to 33mm) and is very popular with women. I'd like to see Casio offer this or something similar in women's/unisex sizes. A lot of the options we do have from Casio are pretty crummy.

Great to see a cleaner Edifice. The new rectangular Oceanus doesn’t work for me. A premium titanium version w bracelet and BT sync under $300 would be sweet.

Try checking out Citizen Corso BM7490-52E looks almost the same with eco drive, sapphire crystal solid end links but double the price and also folded clasp.

I don't know whether people want to pay for simplicity or for the finer touches - guilloche, perlage etc. The Royal Oak is far from simple.
EFS-S570 Solar Chronograph version . The dark grey's Bracelet feels smooth like it's covered in plastic 😅
The white dial looks even better and is more versatile as it has more of a dress watch essence.

I buy an Casio edifice efr-s108d from online not an authorized shop so I didn't get the official warranty now i have some doubt that my watch is not a original one i found something is suspicious outside box there was nothing mentioned about any information inside box there was no user manual or card specifically for this watch there was for another model and in the watch bracelet clasp are not shinning as other, the date are showing in white in my black dial watch. I bought it for around 58 dollar do you think it's a copy product?

Looks really good, but I‘d prefer to have quartz watches without a second hand. I just don’t like the jumping hand, it should be smooth instead!
Get an automatic to have smooth seconds hand. Quartzs are just a toys.

It's a good looking watch but the MTD 1086 / 1087 series are still better looking and they're like 2-3x less expensive. They have the same specs except the Sapphire glass.
