I just bought the gimbal for helping to smooth out panning and to keep the phone level while recording football footage. Your video allowed me to connect the gimbal to my phone's camera (Galaxy S10+) I can't set the video settings to 4K 60fps on the app, but it does do 4K 30fps. I now need to test it at a match to see how the quality is. Thanks for the video, it was a great help! 👍
Hello, the app crashes when I try to open it. I use a Google Pixel 6 with Android 15 and I want to connect my dji Osmo action 3 camera. Is there any way to fix my problem.
I have a Pixel 6, too. Mimo just flatly refused to open. I took a long shot and dug to the bottom of the drawer, which had an old Android LG G6 that had not been updated since December 2019. I couldn't believe that it not only installed Mimo but I was able to update the camera's firmware. If you have an old phone kicking around, it's worth a try.
Have't tried yet but I've read DJI's android apps are low quality in general and the video quality they produce is poorer than the native camera apps unfortunately. I picked up an SE gimbal amd hope to see for myself on my Pixel soon.

It is a herculean task to look out for the app or download it at first instance. The company should understand that this is the first step for any new buyer to download the application! But the way you explained, it helped me. Once suggestion - when you share your mobile screens, please show them slowly as I found it difficult in your video to check the exact app's logo. Finally, I downloaded the app in my iPhone as well as in the android phone from the Samsung application. IN android, the DJI app is not available (there are various guides, though).
why would your phone version comapred to the ios version prevent install.. the are 1000's of phones all running android ios,, yet only 50 "phones" on the compatable list..... i have ios android 12 but it says "phone" not compatable... wth DJI... prevents me from buying a DJI camera that i want but am afraid now i cant upgrade the firmware if i were to buy the camera..
update,, for some reason,, Motorola puts 64bit processor into phone then downgrades it to 32bit function. most likely other companies do this also when dealing with anything 4 gigs and under ram.... this was causing the app to not install even though when i bought the phone couple years ago it was advertised as 64bit.. Motorola says any of their phones above 4 gigs ram will have true 64bit. but i wasnt going to pay 300 bucks for a compatable motorola phone..... so i went to walmart and got a samsung galaxy a14 with 6 gigs of ram and it has true 64bit,, 80 bucks... there are a few apps that can read your phone and display "bit architecture" to verify if your phone is compatable,, i used AIDA64 from google apps to read the phone specs.. it is under "cpu" then "instruction set" fyi i bought the phone for sole purpose of using the app for firmware upgrades and other features,, its basically an 80 dollar mini handheld computer at this point as to activate phone service it would cost more monthly thru straight talk than what i pay for my service now on my motorola... just an option for those who would still like the camera.....
The support is different from mobile to mobile. Previously I reviewed dji gimbal where it is not supported 60fps in my Android mobile but in iPhone's it is supported. So we cannot assure which Android mobile is supported for 60fps. It's purely a software glitch I don't know whether they will change it or not in future
Do not install any app from outside the Play Store if information security of your device and home network is important. I do not want to carry a separate phone for my DJI device so I decided to return it.

Same is happening with DJI Fly..I think there's an issue with the android update.

What if the problem is regarding installation. While the apk file is downloaded, the application is not getting installed even after multiple attemps
That's mostly due to incorrect version. Try lower version. It helps
ridiculous they force you to use an unsupported app. Forced me to go to GOPRO instead. On android 13 on 2 devices no go

it's supported for android mobiles. But some users are noticing issues with app crashes. Give it a try.
