7:50. As a kid, I found a bug there. You can jump left and cross that grid, so you don't need to go to the right to open it. You can save 25 seconds doing that. I don't remember exactly how I jumped but after 3 or 4 tries it always worked

@@juanpabloaschieri6336 I think I jumped without running, stearing so close to the right edge of the first tile. You need to stand in the exact spot or it doesn't work. I will play the game again and I will try it. If I can do it I will record and upload it to share it with you
after some hopeless tries I found the Byte in the game, which let me start w many lives instead of 3 lives only. It is a genial approach not to fight, didn't think bout this.
Ow man this had gone even more crazy. I've been playing the POP Speedrum in 2020 and I've gotten it down to about 15min30s -ish but I couldn't do all the tricks, but now there are even more...... :D :D Those new Level 7 and Level 8 shortcuts are insane. Who comes up with this stuff?! :D :D
I'm pretty sure that on level 6 on the floppy disk version, if you play the game 2 times in a row, on the second time the hole in front of the big soldier is smaller. I remember it, but it's only on the original floppy disk version of this great classic!!!! My favourite game growing up, until my dad threw away my computer and all the games in 2001 when I was 12!!!!
Is there any chance you could do a video where you fully explore all the levels? Did you know on level 3 you can get an extra life? All you have to do is get beyond the first gate then die and then you can go all the way back to get the 1up potion 2ice.
You have to move in a very precise maner do that your elbow clips trough the gate making the guard think you are on the other side. If you would like i can send you an invite to a discord server qith pop speedruners which can help you to learn the tricks

Its all about the timing and position, jumps are pretty much frame perfect. Though they are not that hard as the game runs at 12 fps
